My name is Emily and I'm going to tell you all about my super cool room. Get ready because it's the best room ever!First, let me tell you about the walls. They are painted a pretty sky blue color that my mom picked out. She said it would make the room feel calm and peaceful. I think she was right because I always feel relaxed when I'm in my room. On one wall, I have a giant unicorn poster that I got for my last birthday. Unicorns are my favorite! I also have some shelves on that wall where I keep all my stuffed animal friends. I have so many that they don't even all fit on the shelves!On another wall, I have a big whiteboard where I can draw and write with colorful dry erase markers. I use it to practice spelling words, do math problems, and just doodle silly pictures. Next to the whiteboard is a big bulletin board covered in photos, drawings, stickers, and other decorations. My mom lets me put whatever I want on there so it's a real mess, but I love it!The best part of my room is my bed though. It's a twin size bed with a pink bedspread that has rainbows and hearts all over it. I have about a million stuffed animals that I sleep with every night too. My favorites are my huge stuffed panda bear and a soft unicorn stuffy. My pillows are all different bright colors like purple, green, and yellow which my mom says doesn't really "go" but I think it looks awesome! I have a little nightstand next to my bed with a lamp shaped like a flower. The lamp gives off a nice soft glow that helps me fall asleep at night.In one corner of my room, I have a big comfy beanbag chair where I love to hang out and read books, color, or just chill. It's bright pink and so squishy! Next to the beanbag is my bookshelf which is stuffed full of all my favorite books and some little knick-knacks that I've collected. I have books about unicorns, princesses, animals, science facts for kids, joke books that makeme laugh, and more. There's no way I could pick a favorite because I love them all!Do you want to know the coolest thing about my room though? I have a awesome loft bed with a slide! Yes, a real slide that goes from the top bunk down to the floor! It's so much fun to slide down instead of using the stairs. Under the loft bed, I have a little tent set up with some pillows where I pretend to camp out sometimes. I even have a fake little campfire setup inside with LED lights that look just like real flames. That tent area is also where I build forts and pretend castles for my stuffies. I've had many royal unicorn and teddy bear balls in there, let me tell you!Under the loft area next to the tent is a small art table with a chair where I do all my coloring and sticker projects. My art supplies are stored in the drawers of the table, all organized by type. I have every color of marker, crayon, and colored pencil that you can imagine! I spend a lot of time working on my masterpieces at that little table. Whenever my parents have guests over, I always make sure to show off my latest works of art.On the other side of my room, I have a pretty white dresser where I keep my clothes and pajamas organized in the drawers.On top of the dresser, I keep my jewelry box that plays pretty tinkling music when you open it up. I don't have much real jewelry yet, but I have lots of plastic necklaces, bracelets, and rings that are just as fun to wear! Next to my dresser is a big stand up mirror where I can admire all my fancy outfits and accessories. My room just wouldn't be complete without a way for me to look at myself, you know.The last couple of things in my room are a big toy chest overflowing with blocks, balls, dolls, board games, and any other toys you can think of, and a small TV on the wall. I don't watch too much TV, but I do like watching a movie or a couple of my favorite shows about animals and science on weekend mornings when I'm getting ready for the day.That's pretty much everything in my super duper awesome bedroom! I basically have the most perfect room ever for a kid like me. It has everything I could ever want - cozy places to read, sleep, and play, tons of room for all my toys and books, and it's decorated with bright colors and all my favorite things like unicorns and pandas. What more could a third grader possibly need? If you come over to my house sometime, you'll have to let me give you a tour in person. My room is every kid's dream!。
