下面我对本节课作简要分析：一、说教材1.教材的地位及作用本单元主要围绕学习“询问物体的位置”这个话题而展开多种任务型教学活动，内容贴近学生生活实际。
本节课教学主要内容和任务是:学习新词汇，学习方位介词及where is /are句型及答语，训练学生的听力，运用此句型进行简单口头交际。
本节课是本单元的第一课时，在本单元教学中起到承上启下的作用，为下节课深入学习做了很好的铺垫。
2.教学目标依据教学大纲和新课程标准，结合本节课教学的内容，我把教学目标细化以下几个方面：1)知识目标(1)学习家具类新词table, bed ,bookcase, sofa, chair等。
(2)学习并能运用有关询问及描述物品的位置句型：Where is /ar e…?It’s/They are in/on/under…。
(3)学习方位介词in, on ,under 的用法。
