2008年PubMed新收录中国期刊4种，它们是：Chinese journal of cancer，为《癌症》的英文网络版，2008年创刊；World journal of pediatrics（《世界儿科杂志》），英文版；《中国骨伤》，中文版；Journal of integrative plant biology（《中国植物学报》），英文版。
关于表1的其他说明：（1）Pediatrics and neonatology（《儿科学与新生儿学》，英文版）原名Acta paediatrica Taiwanica（《台湾儿科医学会杂志》，英文版），2008年改用现名。
Journal of molecular cell biology原为《分子细胞生物学报》（中文版），2009年改为英文版，改用现名。
Molecular plant（《分子植物》，英文版)）于2008年创刊，代替原《植物生理与分子生物学学报》(中英文版)。
（2）近年来，不少中国出版的科技期刊，特别是英文版科技期刊，采用了与国外出版商合作出版的模式，其出版单位已转换为国外出版商。
故在PubMed数据库中，这些期刊的出版地大都写成了国外出版商所在的国家，而非中国。

（3）少数期刊PubMed收录了，但MEDLINE没有收录。
由于PubMed更被广泛使用，故表1列出了目前仍在出版的被PubMed收录的中国期刊。
（4）《中国应用生理学杂志》PubMed 1997年开始收录，只收录至2000年第4期，2001年以后未收录，但该杂志未曾被美国国立医学图书馆（NLM）退出。
（5）Journal of digestive diseases（《消化病杂志》，英文版）由中华消化病学会和中华医学会上海分会主办，但在澳大利亚的Carlton South由Blackwell出版。
