探究一:Is it easy to make new friends? 交新朋友容易吗？在本句中it 是形式主语，to make new friends 是真正的主语。
句型结构：It +be + adj. (for sb.)+ to do sth. 如：It is good for you to go out for a walk.对你来说出去散会儿步是有益的。
探究二:Please ask your classmates about their interests.请询问一下你的同学们的爱好ask sb. about sth. 询问某人关于某事如：My teacher asked me about my study.老师询问了我的学习情况。
ask sb. to do sth. 要求某人做某事。
He asked me to excuse him. 他请我原谅他。
ask sb. for help/sth 向某人请求帮助The old man asked the police for help.老人向警察寻求帮助。
探究三: I like donuts best.我最喜欢面包圈。
like sth. best 等于sth. is one’s favorite意为“某人最喜欢……”例如：I like swimming best.等于Swimming is my favourite.我最喜欢游泳。
【归纳】：like…better 较喜欢…… like…very much非常喜欢….. like…a little有点喜欢……don’t like…at all根本不喜欢…..探究四:What do you dislike?你不喜欢什么？dislike与like是反义词，“不喜欢，讨厌”的意思。
后常接名词或动名词。
Some people dislike big cities.有些人不喜欢大城市。
【辨析】：dislike和hate 两者都是“不喜欢，讨厌”的意思。
hate后跟不定式和动名词；dislike 只能跟动名词。
I hate to trouble others.我讨厌麻烦别人。
He hates/ dislikes staying at home.他不喜欢呆在家里。
探究五:I don’t like rain，either.我也不喜欢下雨。
either 在本句中做副词，意为“也”。
【辨析】：too，also 与either(1)too 用于肯定句或疑问句末。
也可用于简略答语中宾格代词之后。
He likes English. I like English ，too.他喜欢英语，我也是。
(2)also 用于肯定句中，系动词、情态动词、助动词之后，实义动词之前。
Ann also likes Englis h.安也喜欢英语。
Lily was also a student.莉莉也是一个学生。
（3）Either 用于否定句末。
I can’t dance. My sister can’t dance，either.探究六：I hate getting out of bed early sometimes.我有时讨厌早起床。
get out of bed 与get up 同义，意为“起床”。
探究七:I have one more question.我还有一个问题。
one more question 等于another question 。
【拓展】：“数词+ more+名词”可以和“another+数词+名词”互换。
例如：我还需要三分钟。
