Unit 3Is this your pencil?第一课时Section A(1a~2d)名校讲坛1.this与that辨析this,that在句子中都可以指代人或物,但二者也有区别:(1)指距离说话人较近的人或物时用this;指距离说话人较远的人或物时用that。

(2)当向别人介绍某人时,用“This is…”,其中this不能用he/she代替。

(3)打电话时,介绍自己用this,询问对方时用that。

(4)this is无缩写形式,that is可以缩写成that's。

2.Is this your pencil?这是你的铅笔吗?Is that your schoolbag?那是你的书包吗?Is this…?/Is that…?这是……吗?/那是……吗?这种句型是含有be动词的一般疑问句,其构成:Be动词+主语+其他成分?读时成升调,句尾用问号。

回答时主语用it代替,肯定回答:Yes,it is.否定回答:No,it isn't.3.物主代词小结your,my,her,his这些都是形容词性物主代词,yours,mine,his,hers是名词性物主代词。

形容词性物主代词必须置于名词前作定语;名词性物主代词相当于“形容词性物主代词+名词”,在句子中主要是作主语、宾语和表语。

例如:My ruler is yellow.Hers is brown.(my 作定语,hers相当于her ruler,作主语)名校讲坛4.excuse me的用法excuse me意为“对不起;劳驾”,是常用于事前要打扰别人而向对方表示歉意时的客套话。

例如:Excuse me,is this your pencil?打扰一下,请问这是你的铅笔吗?【拓展】Sorry=I'm sorry,是礼貌的道歉用语,意为“对不起;抱歉”,常用于做错事或有过失而向别人道歉,主要用于事情发生之后。

例如:Sorry,I am late for school.对不起,我上学迟到了。
