I love to swing on the swings and slide down the big slide. My friends and I also like to chase each other and play tag. When it's time to go back inside, we line up at the door and Ms. Johnson reminds us to walk slowly and be safe.After outdoor playtime, we have snack. My school serves healthy snacks like apple slices, carrot sticks, and yogurt. I always drink water or milk with my snack. Then we have activity time where we do art projects, practice our numbers and letters, or play educational games on the computer.Lunchtime is another highlight of my day. The cafeteria ladies serve delicious hot meals like spaghetti, chicken nuggets, or beef tacos. I always make sure to eat all my vegetables. After lunch we have quiet time where we rest on our mats and listen to calming music. I usually fall asleep for a little while.In the afternoon we have more free play and activity time. Sometimes we have special visitors come to our class, like a firefighter or a dentist. They teach us about their jobs and let us ask questions. I always have so many things I want to learn about!Before we go home, we have circle time again to review what we learned that day. We might sing the days of the week song or talkabout a book we read. I love sharing my thoughts and ideas with the class. When the bell rings, I give Ms. Johnson a big hug goodbye and can't wait to come back tomorrow.After school, I ride the bus home with my sister. We usually have a snack and play outside for a while before starting our homework. My mom helps me with any tricky parts. In the evenings, my family eats dinner together. My favorite dinner is tacos.Before bedtime, I take a bath and put on my pajamas. Then my dad reads me a bedtime story. I love hearing about the adventures of different characters. Sometimes I even get to pick out a new book at the library on the weekend. After the story, I say my prayers and give my parents hugs and kisses.
