课时目标
1．能正确询问并回答节日所在的日期。
2．能听懂、会说There are some special days in April. It -s on April 5th this year.等句子。
教学重难点
1．重点：掌握日期的表达。

教学过程
一、热身（Warm-up）
1．开火车：复习日期表达法，如：Jan. lst，Feb. 2nd，Mar. 3rd，Apr. 4th，May 5th...
2．活动：话说节日
以问答的形式来盘点各月份的节日以及节日的具体时间。
先由教师和学生示范：
T:What's your favourite holiday?
Sl:New Year's Day.
T:When is New Year-s Day?
Sl:lt's on January lst.
3．活动：看图联想节日
活动方式：教师出示以下场景，如：复活节兔子、升国旗、儿童在公园玩耍、放鞭炮等，要求学生看图抢答具体的节日。
猜对后，全班进行问答练习。
如：
When is ...Day? It's on...
二、新课呈现（Presentation）
1．Let-s try
(1)请学生看图和题目要求，猜一猜录音内容。
(2)教师播放录音，学生完成听音选月份的练习。
2．Let-s talk
(1)敖师询问学生：What day is it today?和What month is this?，学生回答后，教师出示4月份的日历说：It's April now. There are some special days in April.然后自问自答：What are they? They are April Fool-s Day and Easter.
然后请学生重复April Fool-s Day and Easter数遍，教师继续说：There are some special days in May. What are they? Please tell me.引导学生说出五月份的重要节日：May Day, Mother-s Day。
最后解释special days的中文意思，并带领学生齐读句子：There are some special days in April. There are some special days in May,too.They are April Fool's Day and Easter. They are May Day and Mother's Day.
(2)解释in和on的用法区别。
T:Easter is in April. April Fool's Day is in April,too.
Easter is on April 5th. April Fool's Day is on April lst.
Can you tell me the difference between in and on?
引导学生理解“in”用在月份前，“on”用在菜一天前。
并让学生说出May Day,Mother's Day所在的月份和具体时间。
如：May Day is in May. May Day is on May lst.
Mother's Day is in May. Mother's Day is on the second Sunday of May.
(3)教学It -s on…this year.
教师指着五月份第二个星期天对学生说：It-s on May llth this year.让学生明白this year 的意思，并让学生举一反三。
如：It's on Jan. lst this year.
It's on Feb. 2nd this year.
It-s on Mar. 3rd this year.
It's on Apr. 4th this year.
It's on May 5th this year.
(4)教师播放Let's talk对话录音两遍，然后提问：When is April Fool-s Day?When is Easter?学生根据对话内容回答：It's on April lst. It's on April 5th this year.
(5)学生跟读对话，两人一组做对话练习。
(6)分角色扮演Mr Jones和Zhang Peng。
(7)Talk about the holidays with your partner.相你的同桌谈谈节日及节日所在的时间。
如：
Sl:When is China's National Day?
S2:1t's on October lst.
Sl:When is April Fool's Day?
S2：It's on April lst.
三、巩固与拓展（Consolidation and extension）
活动：寻找与同年同月同日生的有缘人
活动方式：教师拿着年历从一月开始问学生：Whose birthday is in January?Please stand up.当一月份出生的人站起来后，教师说：你们都是同年生的有缘人，请你们互相询问找出谁与你是同年同月同日生的好朋友。
问答如下：
Sl:My birthday is on January lst. When is your birthday?
S2:My birthday is on January 2nd. When is your birthday?
S3:My birthday is on January 3rd.
接着第三个问第四个，以此类推，直到找到与你同年同月同日生的有缘人为止。
找到后
说：We are good friends.教师总结：Let's have a birthday party after class for them.

广闻博知
复活节是西方的重要节日，在每年眷分月圆之后第一个星期日。
基督徒认为，复活节象征着重生与希望，为纪念耶稣基督被钉死在十字架之后第三天复活的日子。
天主教／新教和东正教复活节的计算略有差异，根据罗马教会传统，在春分（3月21日）当日见到满月或过了春分见到第一个满月后，遇到的第一个星期日即为复活节。
东正教则规定，如果满月恰好出现在这第一个星期日，则复活节再推迟一周。
因此，复活节的日期大致在公历3月22日至4月25日之间。
复活节那一天，是经由三个历法（分别是西历、中国阴历、星期）合并出来的，怪不得它会如此飘忽不定了。
有些年份三个教派的复活节是重合的，而有些年份又不同，进而它们耶稣受难日的日期也有所差异。
教后反思
本节课能利用情境教学法呈现教学内容，通过一系列的活动让学生感知学习内容，并能正确回答问题，从而加深了学生对文章的理解。
整节课连贯性强，教学方法灵活，让学生在英语学习中想说、敢说、会说，达到了知识、技能和情感教育多方面的丰收，促进了学生口语能力的发展。
