It’s centainly an unbel ievable privilege and honor to be here at the 2nd Beijing International Film Festival. This is certainly a historic occasion and it’s so beautifully produced and quite magnificent. Theopening act alone was certainly worth the 15-hour flight to get here. China is not only one of the most active economies globally but is a fast growing market for films in the world right now. In this country, they are installing 8 new cinemas a day and the rate is actually rising. There are still thousands of towns and counties waiting to get their first movie theaters ever. 第一篇：名人演讲：卡梅隆就职演说David CameronFirst Speech as Prime Minister of Great Britain delivered 11 May 2010, Downing Street, London, EnglandHer Majesty, the Queen, has asked me to form a new government and I have accepted. Before I talk about that new government, let me say something about the one that has just passed.Compared with a decade ago, this country is more open at home and more compassionate abroad, and that is something we should all be grateful for. And on behalf of the whole country I'd like to pay tribute to the outgoing Prime Minister for his long record of dedicated public service. In terms of the future, our country has a hung parliament where no party has an overall majority; and we have some deep and pressing problems -- a huge deficit, deep social problems, and a political system in need of reform. For those reasons, I aim to form a proper and full coalition between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats. I believe that is the right way to provide this country with the strong, the stable, the good and decent government that I think we need so badly. Nick Clegg and I are both political leaders who want to put aside party differences and work hard for the common good and for the national interest. I believe that is the best way to get the strong government that we need, decisive government that we need today. I came into politics because I love this country. I think its best days still lie ahead and I believe deeply in public service. And I think the service our country needs right now is to face up to our really big challenges, to confront our problems, to take difficult decisions, to lead people through those difficult decisions, so that together we can reach better times ahead.One of the tasks that we clearly have is to rebuild trust in our political system. Yes, that's about cleaning up expenses. Yes, that's about reforming parliament. And yes, it's about making sure people are in control -- and that the politicians are always their servants and never their masters. But I believe it's also something else. It's about being honest about what government can achieve. Real change is not what government can do on its own. Real change is when everyone pulls together, comes together, works together, where we all exercise our responsibilities to ourselves, to our families, to our communities, and to others.And I want to help try and build a more responsible society here in Britain. One where we don't just ask what are my entitlements, but what are my responsibilities: When we don't ask where, "What am I just owed?" But more, "What can I give?" And a guide for that society -- that those that can should, and those who can't we will always help. I want to make sure that my government always looks after the elderly, the frail, the poorest in our country. We must take everyone through [sic] us on some of the difficult decisions that we have ahead. Above all, it will be a government that is built on some clear values -- values of freedom, values of fairness, and values of responsibility. I want us to build an economy that rewards work. I want us to build a society with stronger families and stronger communities. And I want a political system that people can trust and look up to once again.This is going to be hard and difficult work. A coalition will throw up all sorts of challenges. But I believe together we can provide that strong and stable government that our country needs based on those values -- rebuilding family, rebuilding community; above all, rebuilding responsibility in our country.Those are the things I care about. And you know, that curiosity also manifested itself in the fact that whenever I wasn't in school I was out in the woods, hiking and taking "samples" -- frogs and snakes and bugs and pond water -- and bringing it back, looking at it under the microscope. You know, I was a real science geek. Butit was all about trying to understand the world, understand the limits of possibility.And my love of science fiction actually seemed mirrored in the worldaround me, because what was happening, this was in the late '60s, we weregoing to the moon, we were exploring the deep oceans.Jacques Cousteau was coming into our living rooms with his amazing specials that showed us animals and places and a wondrous world that we could never really have previously imagined. So, that seemed to resonate with the whole science fiction part ofit.And I was an artist. I could draw. I could paint. And I found that because there weren't video gamesand this saturation of CG movies and all of this imagery in the media landscape, I had to create these images in my head. You know, we all did, as kids having to read a book, and through the author's description, put something on the movie screen in our heads. And so, my response to this was to paint, to draw alien creatures, alien worlds, robots, spaceships, all that stuff. I was endlessly getting busted in math classdoodling behind the textbook. That was -- the creativity had to find itsoutlet somehow.And an interesting thing happened: The Jacques Cousteau shows actually got me very excited about the fact that there was an alien world right here on Earth. I might not really go to an alien world on a spaceship someday -- that seemed pretty darn unlikely. 4月10日，正值沉船一百周年之际，《泰坦尼克号》再度起航，3D版在中国大陆上映。
截至4月23日，大陆票房己经突破6亿人民币，相当于世界其他市场的票房总和。
23日，第二届北京国际电影节开幕，卡梅隆现身开幕式并致辞，表示中国观众对3D电影的热衷程度令人惊讶。
卡梅隆携带自己的制作团队在电影节畅谈3D技术的应用，其旗下的Cameron-Pace Group是专门提供3D技术支持的公司，也表达了对中国巨大的3D市场的浓厚兴趣。
24日，卡梅隆团队正式签约加盟中国首部3D史诗巨片——《孙子兵法》的拍摄。
此部大片是第一部中美联合制作的3D电影。
据卡梅隆介绍，《孙子兵法》与他结缘甚深。
《孙子兵法》的导演在一年之前与卡梅隆的公司取得了联系，希望公司提供3D技术方面的支持，把这部电影打造成首部史诗巨作的中国3D电影。
看完剧本的卡梅隆曾饶有兴趣地说：“中国是一个文明古国， 《孙子兵法》很久以前我就听说过，它是中国传统历史文化的一个重要产物。
”从好莱坞的创作经验来看，3D电影技术主要应用在动画片、科幻片、灾难片、史诗片等类型上，而这些类型片一直是中国电影的软肋。
以3D电影的标杆《阿凡达》为例，作为全球唯一全片应用3D技术的影片，此片的制作团队规模惊人，共计由48家公司、1858位技术人员、6000多名外围工作人员，历经4年创造而成。
许多尖端技术如移动的虚拟摄影机技术、细微的人脸表情捕捉技术等都拥有专利。
此外，3D并不是冰冷的技术，而同样需要讲求艺术、美感和灵感，更需要服务于故事本身。
如卡梅隆所言，“技术只是一个手段，我更看重的是内容。
之所以运用3D，是因为3D可以把我要讲的故事表达得更好。
”《阿凡达》为3D电影树立了一个标准，但这一标准本身即使在好莱坞也很难再现。
