三、教学目标1、知识和技能目标：本单元通过对人物外貌和性格变化的描写，以used to 结构的表达为主要内容，进行多角度的练习，同时应注意对于性格，外貌的形容词的使用。
2、单元重难点：通过对自己、家人及身边朋友现在和过去的比较，学习used to的用法，巩固掌握描述人物的词汇和技巧。
3、情感态度与价值观：人是不断发展变化的，我们身边的人和事都在不断变化，随着深入学习，我们也应该不断增长知识，健全自己的人格，不断去完善自己。
四、教学方法及设计意图1、视听法：主要通过多媒体课件展示、图片展示、老师提问、学生回答等方式提供让学生看、听、说、的练习机会。
2、问答法和情景交际法：用多媒体展示各种图片，让学生利用这些图片进行交流，让学生在做中学，在实践中获得信息，习得英语。
