利弊因素分析英文作文

利弊因素分析英文作文英文:When analyzing the pros and cons of a certain issue, it is important to consider various factors that maycontribute to each side. In terms of benefits, there may be immediate advantages such as increased efficiency, cost savings, or improved quality. For example, implementing a new software system may initially require a significant investment, but it could ultimately lead to faster processing times and reduced errors. On the other hand, there may also be drawbacks that need to be taken into account. These could includepotential risks, negative impacts on stakeholders, or long-term consequences. For instance, if a company decides to outsource jobs to cut costs, it may result in layoffs and decreased morale among employees. It is also important to consider the perspective ofdifferent stakeholders. For instance, a decision that benefits the company may not necessarily benefit its customers or employees. Therefore, it is crucial to weigh the pros and cons from various angles and determine the best course of action that will have the least negative impact on everyone involved.中文:当分析某个问题的利弊因素时,需要考虑到各种可能对每一方产生影响的因素。

利弊的`英语作文1With the development of science and technology, peoples lives have been greatly changed. There is no doubt that we benefit a lot from the scientific advancements in many different ways. For instance, the invention of computers dramatically increases work efficiency and helps complete many difficult tasks that were impossible in the past. Apart from this, new discoveries and technology in medicine improve peoples health, which allows them to enjoy a longer life. The progress of science also enlarges humans ablilities to explore the world around them, from up into space to deep under the sea. Thanks to the development of science and technology, human society has enjoyed continuous prosperity and more convenience. However, just like a double-edged sword, science can cause problems too. It is known to all that the nuclear power, an environmentally friendly source of energy, can also be developed into a weapon of mass destruction. In addition, human cloning, which is expected to cure many serious diseases and save lives, may bring disasters of social morality. As a matter of fact, most of the improvements in science are made at the cost of our precious natural resources and have done great harm to the environment where we live in.Therefore, how to deal with the progress of science andtechnology properly is worth our careful consideration.Nowadays, more and more hi-tech tools, such as calculator, computer, etc, appear in our daily life.we use them wherever and whenever we are,so that our life becomes easier and more comfortable than before. However, does anyone think about what problems science and technology have caused to happen in this world? To some degree, its more serious than that we consider. We human indeed use them to improve our living standard, but on the other hand,we are becoming lazier, more reliable than we used to be.All day long those hi-tech products accompany us,then we have either no space or time to think,as well, communication between each other decreases, and what takes place of it is the huge indifference and gap among human. To solve these problems,we should in no time take measures to do with them.Firstly, communicate with others and think on your own more.Secondly, decrease the times you use hi-tech tools. For the advantages of technology,we should absorb,at the meantime,be independent and abandon the short-comings.Thus,we could combine technology and human progress much closer and not lose ourselves in this modern society.利弊的英语作文2The rapid development of science and technology has brought about great changes to human life, including great harms and disasters .Then people enter into endless argument about whether science is dangerous or not.So many examples can be figured out to prove the danger of science. Advanced technology can be easily manipulated by irresponsible persons as well as terrorist. Such as the Disaster 911, airplanes fly into buildings, fire burning, huge structures collapse,a lot of victims such as intellectual and business elites were sacrificed. Besides, As technology becomes more powerful day by day , well be complacent and lazy. Increased dependency on modern tools like calculators has reduced on our creativity. Students can’t solve a very simple mathematical equation without using a calculator. This affects the way these students uses their brains and reduces on the level of creativity.Just like the saying goes that every coin has two sides. However, it ‘s obvious that we make the decision to choose which side. After 911, people condemn the terrorist not airplays. Student who got low marks should rethink his carelessness and laziness but not pass the buck to the calculator.Any way, There is no dangerous science, but dangerous and irresponsible people. We are working very hard to solve such problems that come along with advances in science and technology, but the efforts are not sufficient and not very successful. Actually, the key lies in the user. Moralities such as responsibility, diligence and goodness should never be lost in our heart. Otherwise , the world would be full of danger even we turn back to the stone age.利弊的英语作文3the following aspects could best illustrate the advantages of internet. netsurfers in different countries can share interesting knowledge and the latest information. besides, internet has provided a major opportunity to buy and sell merchandise . what is more, people may get medical help or even vote on internet. its advantages seem countless.behind all this glowing talk, however, are some problems. internet makes people passive by stopping them making their own entertainment. so much so that when there is a breakdownor jam, people may find that world wide web turns into world wide wait. what is worse, some children have access to the scenes of violence and se. apart from these, it can be affected by viruses and hackers.we should handle its problems, meanwhile we should eploit its potential as well. with proper management of internet people ought to eperience more fruits of the information revolution. all the wisdom of the ages, all the information that has enlightened mankind for centuries, should be available to us with the healthy development of internet.利弊的英语作文4With the development of e-commerce, shopping online becomes a new way of shopping which is getting more and more popular. Many citizens are likely to shop through internet nowadays.Generally speaking, shopping online offers lots of advantages with its convenience the most prominent. Besides, you just click the mouse can you get all information you want, so that you don’t have to go to the shop personally. The chemicals may be hazardous).Whats worse,Science and tecnology may even destroy our simple and healthy life(Sometimes How we miss the traditional style of living!).In addition ,The appearance of new technology may invade our privacy. To sum up,humans must be alert against the possible harm while enjoying the benefits from them.利弊的英语作文6Advertisement is omnipresent in our modern society. It seems wherever we go, such small ads will greet our eyes: the supermarket, the subways, the stop sighs, the walls of public buildings, the garbage cans, and whatsoever. The ads can be about everything from selling mobile phone, renting houses, treating difficult diseases to producing fake diplomats.from domestic articles to machinery, from toys toaircrafts. It’s no exaggeration that we live in the world of advertisement. The advantage of the ads is self-evident. They provide us with a good collection of goods and service, from which we can make our best choices. For the manufacturer, they can take advantage of the ads to project the characters of their products so as to seize the vision of the consumers and gain them huge profits. However, we cannot belittle the disadvantages of the ads. To many ads do spoil our daily life and waste our time. They interrupt the TV programs, filling our letterbox, and ruin our appreciation of nature in place of interests. People often feel burdened with the ads instead of satisfying with them. On the other hand, some of the ads are illegal, spreading false information and planning to treat people who are eager to solve their problems. It’s high time we took urgent and ef fective measures to curb this phenomenon. Firstly, we should intensify the effects to supervise the ads markets. It’s crucial that we must regulate the ads market strictly to avoid someone’s availing himself or herself of the loophole of the market management. Secondly, whoever takes advantage of ads treating consumers should be punished or imprisoned. Thirdly, we should educate people to abide by the law and give priorities to honesty and credit. Only when putting these measures into practice, will our society be purified into a paradise for us to live in.。

高中生利弊英语作文真题及答案

高中生利弊英语作文真题及答案

高中生利弊英语作文真题及答案全文共12篇示例,供读者参考篇1Being a High School Student: The Good, the Bad, and the UglyHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. My big sister just started high school last year, so I've gotten to hear all about what it's like. It seems like a pretty crazy experience if you ask me! There are some awesome things about being a high schooler, but also a lot of not-so-awesome things too. Let me break it down for you.The Good StuffOne of the coolest parts of high school from what I've heard is that you get to choose some of your own classes. In elementary and middle school, you're kind of just stuck with whatever courses they make you take. But in high school, you can pick electives based on what you're interested in. If you're really into art, you can load up on art classes. If you're a computer whiz, maybe you take extra tech courses. How neat is that?Another great perk is that there are way more extracurricular activities to get involved with. My sister is on the volleyball team, sings in the choir, and is part of the environmental club. In elementary school, the only real club was safety patrol. Joining different teams and groups seems like an awesome way to explore your interests and make new friends.Speaking of friends, it sounds like you get a lot more independence and freedom to hang out with your crew in high school. You can go to the mall, grab food after school, or just chill at each other's houses way more than you could when you were younger. My parents are always giving my sister privacy to do her own thing. From what I've observed, high schoolers also get wayyyy more respect from adults. They seem to actually listen to what teenagers have to say instead of just brushing them off like they're little kids. High school students get treated more like young adults, which is pretty cool. The Bad StuffAs nice as all that sounds, high school also comes with a ton of crummy stuff that I'm definitely not looking forward to. First of all, the homework load is insane! My sister literally has多项作业几乎每一天,从数学到历史和英语的homework. She's always staying up late grinding away on assignments and projects. No thanks! Then there's the obvious stuff, like waking up at the crack of dawn to get ready for school. Seriously, who wants to wake up at 6am every morning? That's practically still nighttime if you ask me. I need way more beauty sleep than that.My sister also tells me that trying to fit in and navigate the social scene at high school can be a total nightmare. There's so much drama with friend groups, crushes, rumours, and being self-conscious about your appearance. She's dealt with her fair share of mean girls and bullies too.I'll pass on that teenage angst!Potentially the worst part from my perspective is that the academic expectations and pressure just seem overwhelming. There are finals, standardized tests, qualifying for colleges – it never ends! My sister stresses out all the time about getting good grades. Where's the fun in that? The Ugly StuffAside from the nuisances of homework and early wake-up times, high school honestly sounds kind of scary when you getdown to it. Unfortunately, there are some really ugly aspects that come with the territory too.For one thing, peer pressure andrisky behaviour seem to escalate a ton. My sister has told me how some of the older kids at her school vape, drink alcohol, gamble, get into fights, and experiment with other sketchy stuff. Even good kids can get pulled in the wrong direction when they want to fit in and be popular. It's disturbing how mature they try to act.Another ugly side of high school is gossiping, bullying, and cyberbullying taken to the extreme. Kids can be so cruel, spreading rumours and saying nasty things behind each other's backs. Social media platforms make it easy for hurtful posts and messages to go viral. My sister has had friends get absolutely torn apart online before over silly misunderstandings. That's just evil if you ask me.Lastly, the whole dating scene seems full of awkwardness and immaturity. Hormones are raging, and you've got hormonal teenagers in relationships for the first time, dealing with jealousy, breakups, and everything in between. It just seems like a recipe for drama. I'll stick to kindergarten crushes for now, thank you very much! The VerdictAfter weighing all the good, the bad, and the ugly aspects of high school, I've got to say – I'm glad I'm not there yet! Don't get me wrong, there are definitely some awesome perks to look forward to, like more independence, cool classes, and fun extracurriculars. But man, all that homework, early wake-up times, social dramatics, and risky temptations do not sound appealing at all.I think for now, I'll be happy coasting through elementary school without a care in the world. Maybe my perspective will change once I'm actually in high school. But for the time being, I'll let my poor sister continue to be the guinea pig of the family. I'm quite content sitting at the kid's table for now while she deals with that teenage craziness. Good luck, sis!篇2Being a High School Student: The Ups and DownsHi there! My name is Timmy, and I'm a 10-year-old elementary school student. My big sister, Sarah, is a high school student, and I often wonder what it's like to be in her shoes. From what I can see, being a high school student has its fair share of pros and cons. Let me tell you all about it!The Pros:More Freedom and IndependenceOne of the biggest perks of being a high school student is having more freedom and independence. Unlike us elementary school kids who have to follow strict schedules and rules, high schoolers get to choose some of their classes and have more control over their schedules. They can also stay out later, go to parties (within reason, of course), and hang out with friends without their parents constantly hovering over them. Sarah often brags about how she can go to the mall or the movies without our parents tagging along. That sounds like a dream!Exploring Interests and PassionsHigh school is a great time to explore different interests and passions. With a wide range of elective classes and extracurricular activities to choose from, high schoolers can try out new things and discover what they're truly passionate about. Sarah is a member of the drama club and loves acting in school plays. She's also taking an art class this semester, and her paintings are amazing! I can't wait to see what other talents she'll uncover during her high school years.Making Lifelong FriendshipsHigh school is a time when many people make some of their closest and most lasting friendships. The shared experiences, challenges, and memories create bonds that can last a lifetime. Sarah and her best friend, Emily, have been inseparable since freshman year, and they've been through so much together. They're already planning to be roommates in college! It's heartwarming to see such strong friendships blossom during these formative years. The Cons:Academic Pressure and StressWhile having more freedom is great, it also comes with more responsibilities and academic pressure. High schoolers have to juggle challenging classes, homework, projects, and extracurricular activities, all while preparing for important exams and college applications. Sarah often stays up late studying and sometimes gets overwhelmed by the workload. I've seen her stress out over grades and constantly worry about her future. It's a lot of pressure for someone so young.Social Drama and BullyingUnfortunately, high school can also be a breeding ground for social drama and bullying. With hormones raging and cliquesforming, it's easy for conflicts and mean behavior to arise. Sarah has confided in me about some of the rumors and gossip that circulate at her school, and it sounds like a toxic environment at times. She's even witnessed instances of cyberbullying on social media. It's heartbreaking to see how cruel some teenagers can be to one another.Navigating Relationships and Peer PressureHigh school is also a time when many young people start navigating romantic relationships and dealing with peer pressure. Sarah has had her fair share of crushes and heartbreaks, and she's constantly worrying about fitting in and being accepted by her peers. It's tough to watch her struggle with these issues, especially when it comes to things like underage drinking or experimenting with drugs. As her little brother, I just want to protect her from making poor choices or getting hurt.Overall, being a high school student seems like a rollercoaster ride of emotions and experiences. While it offers more freedom, opportunities for personal growth, and the chance to build lasting friendships, it also comes with its fair share of challenges and struggles. Academic pressure, social drama, and navigating relationships can be overwhelming at times. As an elementary school student, I can't fully understand what Sarah is going through, but I admire her resilience and determination. I know it's not easy being a high schooler, but I'm confident that she'll come out of it stronger and more prepared for the next chapter of her life.Who knows, maybe in a few years, I'll be the one experiencing the ups and downs of high school myself! For now, I'll just continue to be Sarah's supportive little brother and cherish the carefree days of elementary school.篇3English Essays are Really Hard!Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 5th grader here to tell you all about the big writing tests that high schoolers have to take. It's called the English Composition Exam and boy does it sound super tough! From what I know, the exam makes students write a bunch of essays on different topics within a time limit. They can't use spell check or anything either. Just their brains and a pencil! No way could I do that now without making tons of silly mistakes. The teachers say it's really important for preparing kids for college and future jobs where they'll need strong writing skills. I can understand that I guess, but isn't being in high school hard enough already? Let me list out some of the good things and bad things about having this huge exam:The Pros of the English ExamIt helps students become better writers which is a useful skill for life. Maybe I'll be grateful for improving my writing when I'm older and have to do things like write cover letters for jobs or papers in college. My older sister wishes she had worked harder on her writing when she was younger. It gets students into the habit of organizing their thoughts and expressing ideas clearly. The exam has time limits so you can't just ramble on and on. You have to make an outline and stick to the point concisely. Grown-ups are always saying kids today can't communicate well, so the exam could help fix that.It prepares students for other big standardized tests. We have to get used to taking important tests at some point, so the English exam gets our brains trained up for dealing with pressure and stress of exams that decide our future. I haven't had to worry about that yet, but I know it's coming! For students who are really good writers, it gives them a chance to show off their talent. Some kids are just naturally gifted with words. An exam lets those wordsmiths get recognized and earn scores that look good on college applications. If I was a whiz at writing, I'd want a way to prove my skills too.The Cons of the English ExamIt causes a ton of anxiety and stress for students. Having to write a long perfect essay on whatever topic they give you while being timed sounds like my actual nightmare! The pressure would make me so nervous I'd probably faint. Isn't being a teenager hard enough already without all that added stress? It is not a fair way to judge students' writing ability. Some people get really bad test anxiety and that prevents them from showing their true skills. Others are just naturally bad at writing under timed pressure even if they are capable writers normally. The exam seems like it only benefits certain types of students. The skills tested are too narrow. Sure, being able to write a great academic essay is important. But what about creative writing, journalism, business writing, etc? There are so many types of writing that the exam doesn't cover at all. Just becausesomeone bombs this test doesn't mean they can't write a awesome short stories or marketing emails.Too much focus on one exam. In order to prepare, schools have to spend so much time and money on English instruction, practice tests, tutors, etc. It takes away from other subjects that could be more interesting or important. Reading and writing are great, but there's more to education than just that. The exam seems to make everything too one-dimensional.Scoring is too subjective. Isn't grading essays based on a teacher's own opinion kind of unfair? What if they just don't like my style or misunderstand what I'm trying to say? Maybe I deserve a better grade but get marked down just because the teacher has different preferences. With math and science there are clear right and wrong answers, writing isn't so black and white. Those are some of the biggest pros and cons I've heard about the English Composition Exam. From an elementary kid's perspective, it sounds like a really big challenge that causes students a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. While being a strong writer is definitely an important skill, I'm not sure if one make-or-break exam is the best way to judge it.Maybe there could be better ways to evaluate writing ability over time through regular assignments and projects? Or different tests could look at different writing styles, not just dry academic essays? Whatever the solution is, I'm definitely not looking forward to high school if this awful exam is still around by then! Let me enjoy my reading, writing, and spelling at my own relaxed pace for now. Anyways, that's just my opinion as a 10-year-old. What do you think about these big high school writing tests?篇4Being a High School Student: The Ups and DownsHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm a 10-year-old elementary school student. I love learning about new things, and one topic that fascinates me is what it's like to be a high school student. I've heard so much about it from my older siblings and friends, and I can't wait to experience it myself someday! But for now, let me share with you what I've learned about the pros and cons of being a high school student. The Pros:More Freedom and Responsibility: One of the biggest perks of being a high school student, from what I've heard, is havingmore freedom and responsibility than when you were in elementary or middle school. You get to choose some of your own classes, join clubs and sports teams, and even have apart-time job if you want! Of course, with this freedom comes greater responsibility, but I think it's exciting to have more control over your own life.Exploring Interests and Passions: High school is a time when you can really start to explore your interests and passions. Whether it's joining the drama club, playing on the soccer team, or taking advanced classes in subjects you love, there are so many opportunities to dive deeper into the things that excite you. This can help you figure out what you might want to study or do for a career in the future.Making New Friends: While it can be scary to leave your old friends from middle school behind, high school is a chance to make new friends from different backgrounds and with different interests. You might meet people who share your love for art, music, or robotics, or you might become friends with someone you never would have expected. Making new friends can broaden your horizons and teach you about different perspectives and cultures.Preparing for College and the Future: High school is an important stepping stone towards college and your future career. You'll learn valuable skills like time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving that will help you succeed in higher education and the workforce. Plus, the classes and extracurricular activities you participate in can help you discover your passions and strengths, making it easier to choose a college major and career path. The Cons:Academic Pressure: Let's be real, high school can be pretty tough academically. The workload is often much heavier than in elementary or middle school, with more challenging assignments, tests, and projects. There's also a lot of pressure to get good grades, especially if you're planning to go to college. This can lead to a lot of stress and anxiety for some students.Social Challenges: While making new friends can be exciting, navigating the social scene in high school can also be tricky. There might be cliques, bullying, or peer pressure to deal with. It's important to surround yourself with positive influences and not get caught up in drama or unhealthy behaviors.Busy Schedules: With classes, homework, extracurricular activities, and maybe even a part-time job, high school studentsoften have incredibly busy schedules. It can be hard to find time for everything, and sometimes self-care and relaxation get pushed aside. Learning to balance all your commitments is a valuable skill, but it can also be overwhelming at times.Emotional Rollercoaster: High school is a time of significant physical, emotional, and social changes. Hormones are raging, and you're trying to figure out who you are and where you fit in. It's common to experience mood swings, self-doubt, and other emotional ups and downs during these years. It's important to have a good support system and healthy coping mechanisms to help you through these challenges. As you can see, being a high school student has its fair share of pros and cons. While it can be an exciting time of newfound freedom, exploring interests, and preparing for the future, it also comes with academic pressure, social challenges, busy schedules, and emotional rollercoasters. But you know what? I think the pros outweigh the cons. High school is a unique and transformative experience that shapes who you become as an adult. It's a time to learn, grow, and discover your passions and strengths. Sure, it might be tough at times, but with the right mindset and support system, you cannavigate the challenges and come out stronger on the other side.I can't wait to experience high school for myself and see what adventures and lessons it has in store for me. For now, I'll keep learning and preparing, and when the time comes, I'll embrace the ups and downs with an open mind and a positive attitude. Wish me luck!篇5High School Life: The Good, The Bad, and The UglyHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm in 5th grade. I just turned 11 years old last month. A lot of my friends have older siblings in high school, so I've heard a ton about what that's like. Some of it sounds awesome, but other parts seem really rough. I can't wait to experience it for myself someday, but I also kind of dread it based on the horror stories I've heard! Let me share some of the pros and cons of high school from what I know. The GoodOne of the coolest things about high school seems to be all the freedom you get compared to elementary school. In high school, you get to pick some of your own classes based on whatyou're interested in studying more. How neat is that? I would love to take extra science and computer classes since those are my favorite subjects. No more being stuck in the same boring routine every single day.High schoolers also get a lot more free time during the school day with study halls and longer lunch periods. My friend's sister said they have a full hour for lunch some days which is just wild to me. That's enough time to eat, hang out, and even get a head start on homework if you wanted. No more getting yelled at to "hurry up and finish" like we do at recess.Speaking of free time, high schoolers can also get passes to go to the bathroom or their lockers pretty much whenever they want from what I've heard. We're not allowed to leave class without a signed agenda book in elementary school. Having that freedom would be so liberating.Another major perk of high school is that you can start getting jobs and making your own money. How cool would it be to earn cash for things like movies, video games, or going out with friends instead of begging your parents? My friend David's brother makes around 200 per week just working at a grocery store's deli counter part-time. That's enough money to buy a new PlayStation game every single week!High school is also the first time you can start driving once you turn 16. Having your own car seems like the ultimate freedom. No more having to beg your parents to drive you places or take the bus. You can just hop in and go wherever you want! My neighbor got his license last year and he says it's awesome being able to drive himself to school, work, or just to meet up with friends somewhere. From what I've seen, high schools also have so many more extracurricular activities and clubs compared to elementary schools. There are dance teams, language clubs, STEM competitions, honor societies, and more. High schoolers can explore their interests and hobbies more instead of just doing basic stuff like student council or recycling club like we have.Lastly, I've heard high school dances and social events are a total blast. My friend's sister just went to her prom last month and she said it was like a fairy tale come true. They got all dressed up, rented a limo, went to a fancy restaurant, and danced the night away. How cool would it be to get that glammed up and have a night feeling like a movie star? Elementary school dances are literally just a crummy DJ and some cheap snacks in the smelly gymnasium. Not exactly magical if you ask me!The BadAs great as high school sounds though, I've also heard some major downsides from my friends' siblings that kind of freak me out. The first one is that the workload is seemingly never-ending. My friend's brother is always staying up late every night grinding away on homework and projects. In elementary school, I'm usually done with any homework within an hour or so of getting home. But from what he tells me, you'll routinely have 3-4 hours' worth of homework, papers, studying and projects every single night in high school. That sounds totally draining!Along with that massive workload comes way harder classes and much stricter teachers. My friend's sister said her chemistry teacher last year was an absolute nightmare. She was apparently really mean, gave them a zillion homework problems every night, and barely explained anything in class. The teacher just rudly told them "If you don't get it, figure it out on your own or fail." Yikes! I've had some strict teachers in elementary school before, but nothing like that. Most of mine are usually pretty nice and helpful when you're struggling with something.High school also sounds really socially stressful from the stories I've heard. There's way more cliques, bullying, and drama compared to elementary school. My neighbor said there'sbasically a cold war between the "jocks", "nerds", "preppies" and other groups of kids in high school. If you accidentally sit at the "wrong" cafeteria table, you'll basically get crucified by everyone. People also constantly gossip, backstab, and bully each other over every little thing in high school which I can't even imagine. Sure, we have some mean kids in elementary school, but nothing like the living nightmare of "Mean Girls" that I've heard high school is like.Another thing that freaks me out is how competitive and stressful it is to get good grades in high school. My friend David's brother is literally taking prescriptions for anxiety medication because he's so stressed out about keeping a high GPA to get into a good college. In elementary school, grades don't really seem to matter that much. You just get a letter, move on to the next grade, and that's that. But in high school, your whole future could be decided by your transcript and test scores. No pressure or anything! I'll probably have a few ulcers by senior year if I have to deal with that.Lastly, dating and relationships sound like an absolute mess in high school too. Nobody really "dates" in elementary school beyond goofy puppy love or crush type stuff. But in high school, it's apparently this massive production with all these ridiculousunwritten rules and rituals. You have to formally ask someone out, go on proper dates, deal with jealousy and rumors if things don't work out, and basically turn into a middle-aged couple by the end of junior year or you're a total loser. No thank you! That sounds way too drama-filled and complicated for me. I'll just stick to Roblox and Fortnite for now if it's all the same to you.The UglyYikes, where do I even start with this section? Let's just say there are some real dark sides of high school that make me never want to go based on what I'm hearing. For example, drugs and alcohol seem to be a huge problem once you get to that age. In elementary school, I've literally never seen or heard of any kids doing underage drinking or smoking or anything. But my neighbor told me there are always flasks getting snuck into high school parties, kids getting blitzed out of their minds, and even some harder drugs getting dealt sometimes. That's just terrifying and dangerous!High school socials also seem to be a breeding ground for serious bullying and violence too based on things I've heard. My friend David's brother said he constantly sees fights, kids getting shoved into lockers, and even weapons getting snuck into school more times than you'd think. Obviously some schools are betterthan others when it comes to that kind of stuff, but it definitely makes me nervous about high school in general.Oh, and let's not even get started on all the disgusting stuff I've heard about the bathrooms in high schools too. My friend's sister refuses to even go near them anymore because of all the vaping, vandalism, and foul stuff written all over the stalls. She said she walking in on two girls literally doing drugs in one of the bathroom stalls last year. I'll probably just have to hold it for 8 hours a day once I get to high school based on how gnarly it sounds.ConclusionWell, there you have it - the good, the bad, and the ugly about being a high schooler from my perspective. As an incoming freshman in a few years, I'm definitely excited about some aspects like the freedom, activities, and social life. But I'm also totally scared about the much harder workload, stress, and peer pressure too. High school sounds like it has the potential to be either the best or worst years of your life depending on how you deal with it all.I guess I'll just have to cross that bridge when I get there though. For now, I'm just going to enjoy being a kid in elementary school while I can. But I'll be sure to cherish that。

英语高中作文万能利弊Learning English has become a crucial aspect of high school education in many countries around the world. As the global language of business, science, and technology, proficiency in English can open up a world of opportunities for students. However, the decision to prioritize English education in high school also comes with its own set of pros and cons. In this essay, we will explore the various advantages and disadvantages of learning English in high school. One of the primary advantages of learning English in high school is the increased accessibility to educational and career opportunities. Many universities, both domestic and international, require a certain level of English proficiency for admission. By mastering the language during their high school years, students can better position themselves for success in higher education, as they will be able to understand lectures, participate in discussions, and complete assignments more effectively. Additionally, in a globalized job market, employers often seek candidates with strong English communication skills, giving those who have studied the language inhigh school a competitive edge.Another significant benefit of learning English in high school is the cognitive and cultural benefits it can provide. Studies have shown that learning a second language can enhance critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and cognitive flexibility. As students navigate the complexities of English grammar, vocabulary, and syntax, they exercise their mental faculties, which can have a positive impact on their overall academic performance. Furthermore, exposure to the English language and the diverse cultures associated with it can foster a greater understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity, which is increasingly important in our interconnected world. However, the emphasis on English education in high school is not without its drawbacks. One of the primary concerns is the potential neglect of a student's native language and cultural heritage. In some cases, the focus on English can lead to a diminished proficiency in the student's mother tongue, which can have negative implications for their identity, communication with family and community, and overall cognitive development. Additionally, the resources and time dedicated to English education may come at the expense of other important subjects, such as mathematics, science, or the arts, potentially limiting a student's well-rounded education.Another potential downside of learning English in high school is the financial burden it can place on families. Textbooks, supplementary materials, and specialized language programs can be costly, and not all families may have the financial means to support their child's English education. This can lead to disparities in access and opportunities, further exacerbating existing socioeconomic divides.Furthermore, the emphasis on English proficiency in high school can also contribute to increased stress and anxiety among students. The pressure to perform well in English-related assessments and the fear of falling behind their peers can take a toll on a student's mental health and overall well-being. This can be especially challenging for students who struggle with the language or come from backgrounds where English is not the primary language spoken at home.Despite these drawbacks, the benefits of learning English in high school generally outweigh the potential disadvantages. In a globalized world, proficiency in the English language has become a valuable asset, opening doors to educational and career opportunities that may not have been accessible otherwise. However, it is crucial that schools and policymakers strike a balance, ensuring that the focus on English education does not come at the expense of a student's native language, cultural heritage, or well-rounded education. In conclusion, the decision to prioritize English education in high school is a complex one, with both advantages and disadvantages to consider. While the increased accessibility to educational and career opportunities, cognitive and cultural benefits, and overall global relevance of English proficiency are compelling reasons to invest in English education, it is essential to address the potential drawbacks, such as the neglect of native languages, financial burdens, and increased stress on students. By striking a balance and implementing policies that support a holistic and inclusive approach to language education, high schools can empower their students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.。

利弊比较的英文作文

利弊比较的英文作文

利弊比较的英文作文英文:When it comes to weighing the pros and cons of something, there are always two sides to consider. On one hand, there are benefits to be gained, while on the other hand, there may be drawbacks that need to be taken into account. For example, let's take the issue of social media. On the one hand, social media allows us to connect withfriends and family from all over the world, share our thoughts and experiences, and stay up to date with current events. It's a great way to stay connected and informed. On the other hand, social media can also be a source of negativity, with cyberbullying, fake news, and online harassment being all too common. It can also be addictive, leading to a waste of time and a lack of productivity.Another example is the use of technology in theworkplace. On the one hand, technology can increase efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and improve communication. It can also provide new opportunities for remote work and flexible schedules. On the other hand, technology can also lead to job loss, create a lack of personal connection between employees, and contribute to a culture of overwork and burnout. In my opinion, it's important to weigh both the pros and cons before making a decision. While there may be benefits to something, it's also important to consider the potential drawbacks and make an informed decision. It's all about finding a balance and using things in moderation.中文:当涉及到权衡某件事的利弊时,总是需要考虑两面。

Should Yuanmingyuan Be Rebuilt?
Yuanmingyuan, “Garden of all gardens”, was burnt and fell into ruins in 1860.Recently my classmates had a discussion about whether it should be rebuilt or not.
Supporters of rebuilding the garden say only by doing so can we see the original sight of the garden, which reflects the Chinese civilization(文明). And it will be another place of interest for tourists. If partly rebuilt, it will provide a comparison and help us remember the history.
Those who disagree think it more reasonable(合情合理)to keep the garden like this. The ruins will remind us of the past. We should never forget the history. Other buildings like Palace Museum and Summer Palace can also be symbols of the Chinese culture, so it isn’t necessary to rebuild this garden. Some also worry that the environment will be destroyed when the construction goes on in this district.
Personally, it is advisable to rebuild Yuanmingyuan , which will add beauty to the city . What’s m ore , the new scenic spot will no doubt promote the economic development of the local.

Last week our class had a heated discussion on Earth Hour.Different students have different opinions about this activity.
About 60% of the students are in favor of it.As we all know ,global warming is a big problem in the world.Earth Hour can rai se people’s awareness of global warming.Besides, turning off lights for an hour is energy-saving.Only by working together can we make our earth a better place to live in.
However , about 40% of the students say this activity is not very meaningful. They think it is only a show and that it doesn’t make much difference. What’s more, turning off lights for an hour may cause inconvenience to people’s life, work and study. In my opinion, this activity is of great importance. But one activity alone is not enough if we want to save energy and protect our earth.Let’s act through our day-to-day habits.。
