可孔子说“诗可以兴”的感动则不仅是一对一的感动，更是一生二、二生三、三生无穷的感动。
有一次，子贡问孔子：“贫而无谄，富而无骄，何如?”孔子回答：“未若贫而乐，富而好礼者也。
”于是子贡就说：“《诗》云：‘如切如磋，如琢如磨’，其斯之谓与?”《诗经》里所说的是璞玉的切磋琢磨，与做人本不相干，可子贡却从中悟到做人的道理，这正是“诗可以兴”的感发。
