2. 教学重难点教学的重点是让学生掌握本课的单词，难点是能够正确使用四个频率副词。
三、教学理念：1．教法设计根据英语这门课本身的特点及六年级学生的兴趣，我通过设计具体形象的情景，以此来分散教学难点，让学生直观地感知与理解。

《Mr.Wood Teaches a Science Lesson!》教学反思本课是一篇以对话为主的课文，其教学目标是掌握四会单词：temperature,degree,helthy temperature,science,并能把它们运用于实际生活场景中，在讲授新内容之前，我先出示(幻灯片一)不同的天气状况图的形式复习了单词sunny,rainy,windy,cloudy及How’s the weather句式，为引出temperature和degree及后面编演对话作准备。
为了巩固新词，我引导学生开展了“Which one is missing?”的游戏，其中既有师生互动，又有生生互动，使学生们学中玩，玩中学，增强了学习的趣味性，强化了学习效果。
之后，我又设计了几个问题引导学生有针对性地去自由朗读课文，学习的目的是为了运用，于是在理解朗读完课文之后，学生小组讨论问题的答案，这充分发挥了学生们的学习主动性，调动了他们的学习积极性。
此外，我还让每组学生运用所学单词及句式为互相询问对方的体温是多少？以上两个环节使学习与生活紧密联系起来，达到了学以致用。
当然本课仍有一些不足之处，如，在学习单词环节，没有给学生留有记忆单词的时间，以至于后面回答问题和做书本上的练习时，有部分学生出现会说不会写的情况，因此在以后的教学中一定会注意学生的单词记忆，因为单词是句子的基础。
