雅思口语范文之周末生活

雅思口语范文之周末生活

雅思口语范文之周末生活Is weekend important to people?Definitely it is. In my opinion, when people are very tired or annoyed during weekdays, they need some leisure activities to relax their tension on weekends, and then they can continue more effectively and efficiently. Also, people can do their own business on weekends because they are busy in during work, such as visiting relations and friends, shopping for necessaries and clothes. What do people do on weekend?Well, as I just said. People can choose to carry on their personal business or just relax. They can visit and talk to their friends to keep the relationship going on, read books and magazines of their interests, do sports to keep fit, or watch TV to relax their tension. For my family, we always go to supermarket to buy some daily necessaries together, or go to shopping mall to have fun.Do you think people should be asked to work on weekends? No, I don’t think so. They will be too tired in the weekdays to go on concentrating on their jobs on weekends. Although they are forced to work, the production and effectiveness will be very low. Also, the employees will complain on the company since they have the right to have a rest, so the loyalty will be reduced.Do you think people should get more money if they work on weekends?Firstly, I don’t think people should be asked to work on weekends. But if there are some urgent tasks, then they should get more money for the extra hours. Because employees have the right to relax and do their personal business on weekends, to respect them and to keep the effectiveness, the manager should pay them more for the work on weekends.Which day do you like more on weekend?I think I prefer Sunday, because I always plan to review the knowledge taught during the week or deal with the assignments on Saturdays and have relax on Sundays. You know, all the people prefer rest than studies. What do you often do on that day?Well, in the mornings, I always spend with my friends. We will go to a fitness centre to do some exercise together, or just sit in a Caféto chat and share the recent lives. Then in the afternoons, my parents and I will go to supermarket to buy some daily necessaries together, or go to shopping mall to have fun. In the evenings, I’ll put myself i nto the busy studies again, to plan the timetable for next week.Do you think that people will spend more money on weekends?Well, I think it depends. Some people like me always go shopping on weekends, so absolutely we will spend more money. Or some like watching movies in a cinema, or having dinner with friends in a restaurant, so are all expensive. But some people only like watching TV at home, or read books in a library, so they will spend the same amount of money on weekend as in weekdays, or maybe even less.。

描述自己的周末活动及出行方式的英语作文

描述自己的周末活动及出行方式的英语作文

描述自己的周末活动及出行方式的英语作文篇1My Weekend AdventuresHi everyone! My name is Emily and I'm 8 years old. Today, I want to tell you all about my exciting weekend. Every weekend is fun for me because I get to spend lots of time with my family and we always do cool activities together.Last Saturday morning, I woke up really early feeling super energetic. I brushed my teeth, got dressed, and went to the kitchen for breakfast. My mom made my favorite - pancakes with maple syrup and fresh blueberries! Yum! After filling my tummy, I couldn't wait to start our weekend. My dad said we were going to take the train into the city for the day. I love riding the train! We walked a few blocks to the station and waited on the platform. The train pulled in, making a loud "whooosh" sound as it stopped. We hopped aboard and found seats together. I looked out the window and watched the buildings and trees whizz by.When we arrived downtown, the first place we went was the Museum of Science. There were so many cool exhibits! I got toexperience what it's like to be in an earthquake, learn about fossils that are millions of years old, and even do some fun experiments. My favorite was making a little tornado in a bottle! After the museum, we had pizza for lunch at an Italian restaurant. The gooey cheese and crispy crust was delicious.Next, we went to an outdoor street fair nearby. There were lots of vendors selling jewelry, art, clothes, toys and tasty food. The smells of funnel cakes, kettle corn and lemonade filled the air. I really wanted to try a frozen chocolate banana, but my dad said it would ruin my dinner. He did get me a strawberry slushie though - brightly colored and icy cold! We listened to a live band playing rock music as we walked around. As we headed home on the train that evening, I felt a little sleepy from all the activities. Back at home, I had a nice warm bath and put on my comfiest pajamas. For dinner, we ordered Chinese takeout - my other favorite food! I had lo mein noodles, sweet and sour chicken, and vegetable fried rice. After dinner, we rented a movie and all cuddled on the couch to watch it together.I ended up falling asleep before it was even over!On Sunday morning, we walked to a nearby park. I had so much fun playing on the swings, seesaws, and climbing the jungle gym. My dad even pushed me super high on themerry-go-round until I felt dizzy! When we got hungry, my mom unpacked a yummy picnic she had made - sandwiches, carrots, grapes, and chocolate chip cookies. We ate it all sitting on a big blanket under a shady tree. After the park, we drove to my aunt and uncle's house for a family barbecue. All my cousins were there too! We played freeze dance and had relay races in the backyard. It was hilarious watching our silly grown-ups play too. Then we feasted on hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, and watermelon. Aunt Karen's famous potato salad is soooo good. I stuffed myself like a little piggy! Before we knew it, the weekend was over. In the car on the way home, I felt a little sad it had gone by so fast. But I was also very happy and grateful that my family had spent so much quality time together. We made so many wonderful memories. I can't wait for my next weekend adventure! That's all for my story. Writing this made me really excited for next weekend - I wonder what fun we'll have?! Thanks for reading, friends!篇2亲爱的小朋友们,你们好!今天老师给你们布置一个作业,就是请你们写一篇英语作文,描述一下你们平时周末是怎么度过的。
