一、Warm-up
1. Greeting.
T: Morning, boys and girls. Last text, we have learnt: There’s a Chinatown in New York. There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there. There’s Chinese dancing. It’s funny. What about China? Are there any famous places here? Look at the word. Follow me. Famous. Famous. Show me your finger. Spell. Group by group.
【设计意图】：通过自由交流回顾所学，自然地引出祖国美好河山。
2. Guess and say.
T: Let’s play a game. I say, you guess.
①We can row a boat. It’s in Hangzhou. (West Lake师带读，小组读)
②It’s strong. It’s in Beijing. (Great Wall师带读，横行读)
③We can climb. It’s in Anhui. (Mountain/Huangshan Mountain师教mountain，书空，男女生读)
④It’s long. It’s more than six thousand kilometres long. (Changjiang River师带读，个别读)

二、Lead in

通过图文并茂的微课让学生及时解决本课难点并运用新知。
四、Practise
1.Pair-work: 学生欣赏大美柳州图片，仿照内容，同桌对话。
T: Our hometown Liuzhou is a beautiful city. Please enjoy some pictures. Then introduce Liuzhou like this.
【设计意图】：通过祖国美联想到家乡美，学生在情景中根据对话内容，选择不同景点，相互介绍家乡美。
2.Group-work: 以四人小组为单位，限时30秒，找出每组图中的异同，并用句子There’s/There are … in the picture.说出来。
比比哪组说得多。
【设计意图】：通过找茬游戏活跃课堂氛围，激发学生思维，学生在紧张又好玩的活动中再次学会运用there is和there are句型。
3. 课堂练习：打开M1U2课堂基础练，学生借助答题器或平板电脑作答，即学即练，检测当堂学习情况。

八、课后反思：
本课为外研版三起六上Module2Unit2《There are lots of beautiful lakes in China.》我围绕本组小专题《微课在英语课堂教学设计中有效运用的行动研究——有效利用微课突破教学重难点》展开教学，在课文教学环节，我让学生整体感知课文后找出课本中有关there is和there are的句子。
然后，我通过播放微课让学生再次观察图片和句型的变化复习所学、通过there be单复数句型分步讲解使用方法、通过设问让学生继续带着问题学习there be句型的一般疑问句使用方法。
最后，学生通过习题巩固难点。
可以说，本微课出现的时机恰当，有效解决教学难点。
当然，本课也存在一些不足：
1、微课中应将There is、There are及s设置成放大或闪动，让学生在观看时引起高度注意。
2、如何将微课制作得更有效以便学生有相对充裕的时间消化难点？我们可以将微课播放完的下一个教学环节设计成与之相关的活动或者在布置家庭作业的时候提醒学生利用早读时间再次观看微课并完成配套练习。
3、本课教学还可以用学生们的旅行见闻串联整个教学环节以此唤起学生们对祖国大好河山的喜爱之情。
