The high income group didn’t show any unsatisfactory to the service and product. But in the middle income group, many of them want value for money and to feel they have got a bargain and services which make life easier or save time, which they think Harrods can’t serve well.Methods for Increasing the ProfitsThe working team has worked out methods to increase the profits of the department store. We will depend on marketing positioning, foreign market, and training new service concept as our main approaches to our customers.Three Ways to Increasing the Profits•To attract customers we will rebuild our department store to make a place for some discount goods. And in other city area, like communities and shopping mall, we will set up some convenience stores, discount stores and speciality stores as competition did. But as the long history and special brand charm we has, our stores will be very different from others. It was found that most undergraduates preferred to i phone. As undergraduates, i phone was too expensive for them to afford. However,the property of i phone was very nice actually, even if the price of it was very high, there were still more and more students wanted to choose it.
The other famous mobile phone was Samsung. Compared with i phone, the type of Samsung was more multitudinous, and the price depended on the type of Samsung. The choice of Samsung was numerous and the design of Samsung was very fashion, so Samsung was also popular in undergradutes.
About home-made mobile phone ,more coednas would choose Oppo. The property of the home-made mobile phone was not very satisfactory, but because of its low price, there were still some students who were from low income family would choose it.
Conclusions
It was felt that oversea mobile phone was more popular because of its nice property and design, while home-made mobile phone was chose by low income students because of its appropriate price.
Recommendations
It is suggested that our companies should aim to improve the technology in mading mobile phone. A high-quality mobile phone with low price will be more popular in the marketing distinctly.
