上世纪80年代，意大利的一座豪宅中，一个贴着魔术师真人海报的房间里，一个小男孩盯着小胳膊里抱着的生日礼物——篮球，甜甜的进入了梦乡……
一个偌大的足球场，草皮很棒，一帮小孩在草地上奔着，脚下灵活的摆弄着那个足球，那姿势仿佛是未来的球王。
在球场的另一侧，一块水泥地，一个破木板篮球框，一个黑人男孩在场上和自己的影子进行行云流水般的斗牛，他一次又一次的投篮，上篮和假动作，仿佛与他单挑的不是他自己的影子，而是乔丹，魔术师这些篮球名宿，他的名字，就是——科比·布莱恩特。
