【教学目标】

【教具准备】
1．单词卡片：
（1）新词feeling，first，second，third，drink 等卡片。
（2）跑步、跳高、跳远等有关于运动项目的词组卡片与图片。
2．相关图片。
3．录音机或教学光盘。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming up
1．师生互致问候。
2．学唱歌曲：A Happy Song。
3．教师说：“You sing quite well. I feel happy. Are you feeling happy？Today our topic is feelings.”教师出示单词卡片feeling，揭示课题并板书：Unit 6 Feelings Part A。
Step 2 Review
1．复习有关运动项目的词组。
（1）教师出示有关运动项目的图片，如：“跳高”、“跳远”、“100米跑”、“200米跑”、“游泳”等，学生看图说词组，教师将图片贴在黑板上。
（2）教师出示有关运动项目的词组，学生认读，并将词组卡片分发给学生。
（3）游戏——找朋友。
游戏规则：请持有词组卡片的学生上台，将卡片贴在相应的图片下方。
（4）采用不同的形式复习、巩固这些词组。
2．复习有关运动项目的句子。
教师出示图片，请学生根据图描述比赛的情景。
Step 3 Presentation
（一）初步感知课文内容
1．教师说：“Look at the picture on Page 38．Who is running 100 meters? Can you say something about him?”请学生用英语介绍一下Peter在运动会上的表现。
2．学习单词race和句子Who is the winner of 100-meter race?
（1）教师说：“Peter is running 100 meters. Peter is running very fast. Who is the winner of 100 meter race?”并板书该问句。
（2）教师出示单词rice和race，区别它们的音、形、义。
（3）教师出示run 100 meters与100 meter race进行对比教学，告诉学生run 100 meters意为“跑100米”，而100-meter 是复合形容词，意为“100米的”，100-meter race意为“百米赛跑”。
（4）教学句子Who is the winner of 100meter race?并请学生带着这个问题，自读对话，教师播放课文录音或CD-ROM，学生初步感知课文内容。
（5）请学生在课本上画出答案，并猜测它们的意思。
（二）学习序数词first，second和third
1．教师说：“Peter is the winner. So Peter is the first.”教师出示单词卡片first，教学单词。
告诉学生first是序数词，意为“第一”，常和定冠词the连用。
出示基数词one，教师举例子帮助学生区别one与first的用法。
如：
I’m the Number One.
Peter is the first.
One for you and one for me.
First，draw a face.
…
2．教师再次提出问题：“Who is the second? Who is the third? Let’s watch the CD-ROM again.”教师再次播放课文录音或CD-ROM，学生边听边从对话中找出答案。
3．教师教学单词second和third。
4．游戏——看谁反应快。
游戏规则：教师随意出示基数词one，two，three等单词卡片，学生必须快速起立说出对应的序数词，教师随即将序数词卡片随意贴在黑板上。
最后，请学生上台把贴在黑板上的序数词卡片按first，second，third的顺序排列。
（三）再读课文，巩固Are you…?的句型，并学习新单词drink
1．请学生自读对话，画出不明白的地方，看看能否通过上下文或通过同桌同学互助解决难点。
2．巩固句型Are you…?
（1）请个别学生读一读对话，引出句子Are you hungry? Are you thirsty?
（2）请学生用Are you…?造句，如：
Are you happy?
Are you OK？
…
3．教师出示单词卡片drink，并且教学单词。
告诉学生drink有两种含义，一种为动词，意为“喝、饮”，一种为名词，意为“饮料、酒等”。
句子Drink some water.意为“喝一些水。
”再出示一些图片，请学生看图说话，巩固drink的用法，如：Drink some juice.
Drink some cake.
Drink some milk.
Drink some soup.
…
4．熟读对话。
（1）教师播放课文录音或CD-ROM，学生模仿跟读。
（2）分角色表演对话。
（四）巩固练习
1．教师播放录音，学生模仿跟读。
2．请学生两人合作，完成对话练习。
3．个别学生展示活动。
（五）语音教学
1．带领学生朗读单词cloud，house，shout，引导学生找出单词中共同包含的字母组合ou并发现字母组合ou在单词中发/au/。
引导学生自主读单词about，loud，south等
2．用同样方法学习单词how，cow，brown，其中字母组合ow发/au/的音。
引导学生自主读单词now，down，town等单词。
3．告诉学生字母组合ow在单词中也可发/eu/的音，出示单词window，yellow 等，复习巩固字母组合ow在单词中发/eu/的音。
4．教师播放录音，学生模仿跟读，归纳总结字母组合ou，ow在单词中的读音。
Step 4 Extension
综合活动：猜一猜
1．教师在PPT上出示伦敦奥运会中跑步、跳高、跳远、游泳等项目的前3名获奖选手的照片。
2．请学生两人一组，互相问答猜名次。
3．教师播放奥运比赛的视频，揭晓答案。
4．情感教育：教师介绍几位奥运选手的成长故事，告诉学生：“Where there is a will，there is a way.（有志者事竟成。
）”
Step 5 Homework
1．听录音，模仿并熟读课文。
2．查找一些你喜欢的运动员的资料，记录他们在某项比赛中的成绩，下节课汇报。

Unit 6 Feelings文化和语言注释1.本单元的话题是人们的情感，学习表示情感的单词happy，sad，tired，proud以及描述产生这些情感的原因的句子。
在本单元学生首次接触顺序数词，第七和第八单元将进一步学习顺序数词。
在时态方面复习一般现在时和过去时。
语音部分总结读作/а的字母组合ou和ow。
2. Who is the winner of 100-meter race?（谁是百米赛跑的获胜者？）上句中的100-meter是由“数词+名词（单数）”组成的“复合形容词”，做race的前置定语，meter没有用复数形式，这和Peter is running 100 meters.在结构和句子成分上有所不同。
复合形容词由两个或两个以上的单词组成用以修饰一个名词。
组成复合形容词的每个词之间要用连字符连接以避免混淆和词不达意。
构成复合形容词的几个原则是：复合形容词中单词与单词之间要有连字符；复合形容词中的名词只能用原形；复合形容词前通常还有冠词、指示代词、不定代词、名词所有格、形容词性物主代词等修饰语。
如：a 500-word report（一份500字的报告）a ten-pound note（一张10英镑的钞票）my four-year-old son（我4岁的儿子）比较下列两个句子，可以看出它们的差别：He has a three-year old son.（他有个三岁的儿子。
）这句中的复合形容词做前置定语，year用原形。
Her son is three years old.（她儿子三岁了。
）这句中three years old做表语，years 要用复数形式。

2学情分析1.教学内容分析:本课的教学内容是闽教版小学英语五年级下册Unit6 Part A.本单元的教学主题是Feelings.本单元分成两课,part A主要感受竞赛带来的hungry,thirsty,happy,proud的情感体验,重点学习三个序数词first, second, third谈论比赛结果,partB才学习sad,angry等其他的情绪体验。
只有在掌握了high jump, long jump,run 100 meter,basketball,football等运动项目,才能对运动竞赛展开讨论。
本课通过各项活动将学生置于自己想说的情境之中,使之自然而然地把语言技能发展成运用语言的交际能力,同时渗透“有志者事竟成”的德育理念。
2.学生情况分析:本课的教学对象是五年级的学生,具备一定的语言学习能力,但是,学习压力较大,比较难以激发其积极性。
其次由于课时不足,赶进度的情况,导致学生对所学知识掌握不牢固,而且相对于英语非主非副的尴尬地位,很多学生课外不能及时的复习,学生主动学习的积极性不高。
不过,对于各种竞赛的排名,学生比较重视,因此在复习好以前学过的有关运动的单词之后,让学生谈论比赛结果,能吸引学生的注意力,提高学习兴趣。
