I .AbstractFemale doctrine , in a conclusion , means the realization of equality and liberty between men and women in whole humankind, that is to say ,women are equal to men in politics, economic, culture , thought , recognition morality and so on. Jane Eyre is the masterpiece of Charlotte Bronte, who is a famous talented realistic woman novelist in English literature history. This thesis mainly discusses the female doctrine of Jane in the social background of realism. Jane Eyre is the first novel , in English history, written successfully to portray its heroine --Jane Eyre , a independent woman, who takes an positive and progressive attitude toward love, life , society and religions, and who dares to fight for the liberty and equality. Jane is neither a very beautiful woman, nor rich, but her genuine, selfless love for Rochester, and her good personality strike us deeply. Jane's sufferings are the deep reflections of the lives of lower-class people in Britain . The author shaped her heroine as a lower-class, awaken, and new feminine , who resists oppression and social prejudice strongly, fight for independent personality and dignity firmly ,and pursue happy life consistently. 即女性在政治、经济、文化、思想、认知、观念、伦理等各个领域都处于与男性平等的地位。

而现实主义时期著名的英国女作家夏洛蒂—勃朗特的代表作品《简.爱》就深刻地阐释了女性主义思想。

这是一部以爱情为主题的小说，它成功地塑造了英国文学史中第一个对爱情、生活、社会以及宗教都采取了独立自主的积极进取态度和敢于斗争、敢于争取自由平等地位的女性形象主人公——简·爱。

简爱既不漂亮，也不富有，但心地纯洁、善于思考。

无论是她的贫困低下的社会地位，或是她那漂泊无依的生活遭遇，都是当时英国下层人民生活的真实写照。

作者能够把一个来自社会下层的觉醒中的新女性摆到小说的主人公地位，并对主人公为反抗压迫和社会偏见、力争取独立的人格和尊严、为追求幸福生活所作的顽强斗争加以热情歌颂，这在当时的文学作品中是难能可贵的。

The domestic and foreign situation of research2.1 Domestic situation of research:On the Global issues of literary criticism ‘Bronte Literature’ , Jane Eyre has been one of most of the works of scholars from various countries concerned. Since the publication of the magazine "Woman " in 1917, ‘Issues of a Tessie woman novelist’ which , especially ,the first time introduced Bronte sisters to Chinese readers. Jane Eyre has been warmly welcome by the ages of Chinese readers and scholars, and criticism of Western literature in China has become a hot topic in that time. Looking at Jane Eyre criticism history in china, during the passed hundred years, Jane Eyre criticism in the current surging.Marxism, feminism, and Christian cultural studies, literary criticism and other narrative theories from the perspective of their theory of Jane Eyre has made a certain depth of research. Undoubtedly those have made a lot of useful research results in Chinese and foreign literature history. However, these studies are mostly one-way view to study the text of a specific point that their theory of the "fun" element, split the text to pieces .Therefore, all such conclusions out of context sometimes can not help but suspect.After the fifties of last century , thinking embodied in the class struggle ideology of the mainstream of society at the time was the era of literary criticism bears the deep imprint of ages. That is the class struggle is everywhere. In this background, literature reviews confirmed that Jane Eyre has many elements of critical realism in the text. As of 1955, "translation"of an article published, said: Bronte sisters perhaps unwittingly became the representatives of millions of unfortunate people and the representatives of the oppressed. As one of the British greatest women writers of reality criticism , Charlotte Bronte Certainly has been an objective reflection of the times in its text and spirit of human life.2.2 Foreign situation of research:In the 1960s, with the global democracy, freedom, equality, civil rights movement ongoing, not only the peoples of the class consciousness were awakening , but also sense of equality of men and women were gradually self-awarened. Then in the literary criticism Feminist theory followed. Because Jane is the representatives of the rebellious spirit of the literature with a strong female characters in British literary history.As Joyce Card Oates indicates in the third edition of the novel's "Introduction" thatIn 1847 "Jane Eyre" published, in English literature , not lack the image of rebel women However, like Jane Eyre, as humble, ordinary, who have no 'weak' against powerful patriarchal society, which has been regarded as an unprecedented . Therefore, many domestic and foreign scholars have criticized the text from the feminist perspective . A strong feminist movement in the political consciousness of the force under the feminist review also make every effort to tap the "Jane Eyre" text in the women's "secondary" social status of the text elements. Further to protest and subvert the humanitarian spirit of the patriarchal society, and to explore means to create a harmonious society and gender equality between men and women.It goes without saying ,foreign s cholars’ perspective of critical theory and research on Jane Eyre are complex and varied.Ⅲ.The purpose and significance of the thesisJane Eyre is Charlotte Bronte's masterpiece, which contains not only the author’s criticism of bourgeois attitude towards marriage and love, but also more importantly her ruthless exposure of inhuman misery in charity schools of her day which were established and run in the name of philanthropy. The religious hypocrisy is clearly shown. The success of the novel is also due to its introduction to the English novel the first governess heroine. Jane Eyre, an orphan child with a fiery spirit and a longing to love and be loved, a poor, plain, little governess who dares to love her master, a man superior to her in many ways, and even is brave enough to declare to the man her love for him, cuts a completely new woman image. She represents those middle-class working women who are struggling for recognition of theirbasic rights and equality as a human being. The vivid description of her intense feelings and her thought and inner conflicts brings her to the heart of the audience.There are many different comments and criticism and on the writer’s family background, the novel multiple themes and writing styles, the novel’s social and historical backdrops together with the novel’s significance in society and literature. This articl e has done a thorough research into the aspects of female doctrine in the novel. It will introduce the definition of female doctrine, the author Charlotte Bronte, the content of Jane Eyre, the image of characters and the details of female doctrine in Jane Eyre. There are many wonderful and vivid descriptions in Jane Eyre. Such as settings, appearances and feelings of the characters, some special events and actions, these can inflect the thought of female doctrine. So through this thesis, we can have a comprehensive and deep understanding of the definition of female doctrine and the specific reaction and feelings of the characters in Jane Eyre. Besides, we can search for the relationship between the author’ real life and the heroine Jane Eyre .It is helpful for us to have a good knowledge of the author, his creative source and his famous works.Ⅳ.
