课题：Module 1 Unit 1 Meeting new people一.学情分析四年级学生思维活跃，好奇心强，乐于交际。
在本单元的教学中，我们以认识新朋友为主题，以认识我的新老师、新朋友、寻找我的亲人为话题，把旧知识拓展到课堂中的新情景中，以培养孩子学以致用，温故知新的学习习惯与学习自信心。
再通过创设不同层次的较为真实的语言情景，如认识新老师，玩找朋友的游戏等让学生体验“在做中学”的语言学习过程。
通过“听、说、读、写、演、唱、画”等多种活动形式充分发挥学生的综合特长和调动学生学习的积极性，以促进学生语言技能和多元智能的双重发展。
本单元是Module 1 Getting to know you中的Unit 1 Meeting new people，是基于2A,3A话题与语言知识点的进一步升级。
学生在3A Module 1已学过许多介绍语，能简单介绍自己，如：My name is ...My eyes are big...也能简单介绍他人，如：He/She/This is...本单元主题为Meeting new people，包含6个部分，旨在通过会话情景，运用新旧结合句型“This is my classmate. His name’s …He’s …”等引导学生在交流中向他人介绍和描述自己的亲人和朋友，表达知识与能力的螺旋式上升。
语音方面，通过歌谣和引入课外绘本，引导学生在篇章中学会a/ei/的发音以及阅读技巧。
本单元是基于1A，2A，3A的Module1 Getting to know you主题的进一步升级，话题主要围绕跟他人打招呼，向他人介绍自己的亲朋展开，紧密联系了学生的英语语言水平积累和生活实际，语言知识点的运用场景设计由简单到复杂，交际范围也由窄向宽扩展。
