意式风情街介绍

Hello, my dear friends. I’m the spokesman of our group. What is our group’s name, and I’m not asking questions here. I t’s easy to be remembered. And the members are: Liu Hongbo, Li Neng, Feng Lijing and me. Today we’d like to introduce you a beautiful and historic spot in Tianjin, Italian Style Town. It is located in Hebei District, not far from the railway station.

Back in the early 20th century, Tianjin was intruded by 8 different countries. A marine lieutenant named Filete was ordered to build Italian style buildings here. That was the origin of the Italian Style Town.

After the intruders were defeated, the Italian Style Town has been more like a scenic spot rather than a concession. In the past few years, the whole area has become a leisure zone. Besides all the remarkable constructions, there are also some cafés, small restaurants, and the Marco Polo Plaza. It’s a perfect place for you to experience European cultures without a visa. And what’s the most attractive is that this place is open all day for free. You can basically visit it anytime you want and it won’t even cost you a penny.

Now you may wonder how to get there. Here’s a map for you in case you get lost. Just like I said before, it’s not far from Tianjin railway station. So, if you start from our campus, you can take the 649th bus to the final station. Then take the 5th bus to the Italian Style Street stop, and you will arrive at your destination.

However, if you are in hurry, here’s a faster way for you to get there. Take the 649th bus to Liuyuan stop, and take the metro line 1 to the Xinanjiao Station. Finally take the underground line 2 to Jianguodao Stop. It will save you more than half an hour. Now maybe you’ve decided to visit here, I’m glad to be your tour guide. May you enjoy a great trip in Tianjin.
