Before goods are imported to Australia,importers should ensure their supply chain security by confirming with their overseas suppliers that asbestos was not used to manufacture the goods.Importers are encouraged to
investigate,and where appropriate implement:

In Australia,a product containing asbestos is prohibited for importation without prior permission under Regulation 4C of the Customs(Prohibited Imports)Regulations 1956.
Under sections 233(1) and (1AA) of the Customs Act 1901 it is an offence to import a prohibited
good.Prohibited imports that arrive at the Australian border may be seized and the importer may be prosecuted or subject to penalties.

无石棉板与非石棉板的区别
无石棉板与非石棉板的区别
欧美国家一般所提的ASBESTOS FREE GASKET 或NON ASBESTOS GASKET指的是100%不含有石棉的垫片。
应该说翻译为中文可以说成“无石棉垫片”或“非石棉垫片”，但在中国市场上有些公司将含有一定量石棉（5-20%）的垫片称为非石棉垫片，而100%不含石棉的垫片称为无石棉垫片。
鉴于此特殊情况，现重申所有我司经营的垫片为不含有任何石棉成分的无石棉垫片。
除非有特殊情况但会详细说明。
CAF：石棉橡胶板CFS：非石棉橡胶板
1）能否只用一种非石棉垫片代替传统通用石棉橡胶垫片？
一般情况很难找到此类无石棉垫片，因为通用CAF不仅耐高温且抗化学性能等，而CFS 即橡胶纤维板主要为芳纶丁睛橡胶板、耐油性能高。
而抗腐蚀需要用聚四氟乙烯材料，高温工矿多数用石墨材料。
2）为何CFS较CAF发脆，易折断？
CFS中所含纤维的比例低填充料含量高，而CAF的纤维含量一般为70-80%保持很好的抗张强度。
3）选用CFS应注意哪些问题？
选择可靠信誉良好的厂家；
要综合考虑温度、压力、介质及法兰与螺栓、螺母等条件。
4）能否提供4MM或5MM的CFS？
由于CFS本身的材料性质所限，我们不推荐使用3MM以上的板材但可以提供4MM。
