Step 2 Presentation
1. Present:

2. Teach the word chicken like this:
(1)T shows the word chicken and asks: What’s this?
(2) Practise the word chicken one by one.
(3) T: Look at the chicken. I like chicken. Do you like chicken? Get the Ss to say: I like chicken.
3. In this way, teacher shows the other words ，let the students to practice and learn the new words like: popcorn, hamburger, fish, pizza, cola, orange juice, milk, ice cream, fish, chips等
通过复习和学习单词的环节，通过句子：Do you like...? I like... I ｄｏｎ＇ｔlike ...对句型进行操练。
Step 3:
T: Hi, boys and girls! Let’s play a game! What is missing?
接着Jenny 通过PPT 让学生look and read 所出现的单词，然后让学生guess哪个单词不见了，说对的同学有奖励。

2. 通过师生互问、生生互问来操练句型。
3. I have some special food for my party, which is very popular in England, do you know what they are? 展示今天新授的2个词组：beans on toast, fish and chips。
5. Play a game.
Driving a train: 生问：what is your favourite food? 学生回答对了就加入火车，开到另一同学停止再问：What is your favouite food? 答对了，在加入火车，这样在教室里走一圈，让更过的学生参入游戏。
6. 做练习：Listen and write the children’s favorite food.
第一：I will have some friends from England coming to my party, do you know who they are? Introduce the children’s name: JEFF, JULIA, KAREN, BOB 第二：Ask the students: Do you want to know what are their favourite food? Then ask the students open their books and write down the words.

Food1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明小学英语新课标要求我们要注重学生思维以及情感态度的培养，在传统的小学英语教育模式中，教师更看重的是语言技能的培养而却忽视了思维能力的培养，尤其是批判性思维的培养。
笔者曾经参加过英语高考阅卷。
在阅卷过程中，我发现学生的英语作文几乎是千篇一律，不但选取主题相似，甚至在句子选用方面都非常相近。
由此可见，批判性思维的培养在我国的英语教育体系中是必不可少的。
而作为英语教育起步阶段的小学英语教育教育，更要有意识的渗透批判性思维的教育。
最早提出批判性思维概念的人是美国哲学家、心理学家、教育家约翰•杜威。
他在1910年首次提出了“反思性思维”这一概念。
通过国内外学者对批判性思维研究的不断深入，后继的一批学者逐渐将批判性思维发展完善。
通过总结，我最终将批判性思维归纳成为了一种双维结构：（1）批判性思维技能：包括阐释、分析、评估、推理和得出结论。
（2）批判性思维倾向：包括思想开明、心态公正、寻求证据、尽可能的了解全面充分、关注他人的观点及其理由、信念与证据的程度要相配和愿意考虑替代选择和修正信念。
通过对批判性思维双维结构的总结，再根据小学英语教育的特点，我认为，批判性思维技能的渗透要根据教师在任课过程中步步紧扣的教学设计有意地引导学生进行批判性思维技能维度内几个关键部分的思考。
而批判性思维倾向的引导则是要通过教师授课方式，班级的氛围，教师的语言等来实现。
前者的改变更多是从思维方式来讲的，而后者更多的是改变学生的思维习惯。
所以在我对Join In 三年级下册Unit 5 Food Part 5 A story-Bad luck for Pat一课进行设计的时候，在这两个层面都进行了深层次的考量。
2.教学背景分析教学内容分析：本课是Join In 三年级下册第五单元Food 中的第五部分，本部分是对前几个部分的升华，因为本课给学生提供了一个将食物单词引申到语用范畴的锻炼机会，并能有场景的告诉他们在从别人那里买东西和跟同伴分享食物时应该进行怎样的对话。
