本节课的主要目的是让学生通过听、说、读、写的方式，掌握有关动物的词汇和句型，并能够运用所学知识进行简单的交流。
教材中包含了6种动物的词汇：panda, tiger, bear, cat, dog, monke以及相关的描述动物特征的句子。
二. 学情分析六年级的学生已经具备了一定的英语基础，对于听、说、读、写的基本技能有了初步的掌握。
在学习本节课之前，学生们已经学习过一些有关动物的词汇和句子，对于本节课的内容有一定的认知基础。
但是，部分学生对于一些动物的词汇和句型可能还不太熟悉，需要教师的引导和帮助。

Step1 Warm up.我首先通过与学生free talk的形式，复习前一课的重点句型，自然的导入本课的教学，谈话气氛轻松自然，然后再让学生听唱歌曲What are you goiesentation.首先借助文本语境，I have two friends. Look！Who are they? They are Sarah and Chen Jie. Sarah asks Chen Jie: What are you going to do today? How does Chen Jie answer?让学生观看视频，从而整体感知本课的学习内容。然后利用文本的语境，学习词汇see a film.对于本课有难点的两个词汇，grandparents和supermarket这两个词我采用了拆分的方法进行教读，降低了教学的难度。另外在词汇的教学中以时间短语this morning/this afternoon/this evening/tonight/tomorrow/next week为主线，同时贯彻词不离句的原则。单词教学中贯彻音-形-义的原则，并渗透语音，灵活运用自然拼读法。同时注意单词操练的层次性，机械操练-趣味操练-意义操练，操练的好，教学效果才会更加完美。拓宽对学生的关注面。
