【第三课时】
【教学目标】
1．通过Read a story的阅读和反馈练习，帮助学生理解故事大意。
2．帮助学生复习字母s、c、z和字母组合ts、ds在单词中的发音。
3．通过学习任务(Task)，帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元所学的知识和技能。
【教学重难点】
1．语音：s, c，z，ts，ds
2．词汇：kill, asleep, once upon a time, fall asleep
【教学准备】
课件、音频（教师可以在优教平台直接调用或下载）。
【教学过程】
I . Pre-task preparations
1．出示白雪公主的图片，问学生Who is she?让学生回答，引出故事Snow White。
2．出示相关图片，介绍故事的主要人物和关键物品，如魔镜(mirror)、皇后(queen)、七个小矮人(seven little friends)。
II . While-task procedures
1．播放Read a story的故事动画，出示问题，让学生带着问题观看动画，整体感知。
学生看完动画之后回答问题。
（1）What could the magic mirror do? (It could talk.)
（2）Who did Snow White meet in the forest? (She met seven little friends.)
（3）What did the queen give to Snow White? (She gave her an apple.)
（4）Did Snow White die? (No. She fell asleep.)
2．出示挂图并提出问题，学生回答问题。
（1）What did the queen ask? (“Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest of all?”)
（2）What did the mirror answer? (“Snow White.”）
出示图2至图4的文字，要求学生发挥想象力，想象白雪公主和七个小矮人的对话，可根据学生情况拓展生词dwarf。

S1: (act as Snow White) I'm Snow White.
Students: Hello. We are the dwarfs. Why are you here?
S1: The queen wants to kill me. Therefore, I came here.
出示图5至图6的文字，让学生根据故事情节自编对话。

S1: Here you are. It tastes good. An apple a day keeps the doctor away!

根据故事结尾的悬疑…What happened next?
See the film and find out.让学生观看影片结尾并回答问题。
然后播放课本录音，学生模仿录音，分角色朗读。
3．学生分为几个小组，根据“参考资料”的课本剧，小组成员分别扮演故事中的角色表演故事，如白雪公主、皇后、魔镜、七个小矮人。
邀请个别小组上来表演。

最后播放Listen and circle练习部分，学生完成练习后核对答案。
教师还可出示含有字母s、c、z及字母组合ts、ds的单词，请学生根据读音规则尝试拼读这些单词。
