经过对学生的调查了解，绝大部分学生有参加我校特色课程的学习，对我校社团活动有一定的理解，但用英语如何表达，还是一大难点。
因此，备课组决定以“Clubs in our school”为主线，从英语的角度了解并介绍我校的特色课程的活动及成果出发，从而鼓励学生参与丰富多彩的校园文化生活，热爱自己的学校，培养积极进取的兴趣爱好，扩大求知领域，锻炼交往能力，从而达到Let clubs light up our school life !2、在对各部分内容的整合上，我们大部分按照教材的设计，只是将listening与more practice结合在一起，因为听力板块作为主阅读篇章话题的延伸，介绍了摄影社和游泳社的相关内容，而more practice的内容是hiking club的活动，可以为学生对各个社团丰富活动的英文表达有充分的积累，从而为口头和笔头输出打好基础。
3、在活动设计上，（1）运用评价表使学生学会如何去做评价。
（2）在阅读和写作设计了课前活动课堂活动及课后活动，Project则设计了课堂及课后活动的延展。
在主阅读篇章上，我们设计了列出学校社团名称，分享我校社团的好处，并给大家推荐一个最值得参加的社团，并说出推荐理由，让学生学以致用；在写作部分,利用用思维导图的方式介绍我校社团，完成Clubs show 作文。
Project 设计了小组介绍Club is calling的招募海报，让学生以小组合作形式展示我校不同社团的活动及成果。
