托福独立作文-telephone has greater influence than TV
The telephone has greater influence on people’s lives than television has.
Currently, both of telephone and television have great changed people's lives owing to the rapid development of technology. There are many persons who deem that telephone has more impact than television, insisting that we cannot live without telephone even though within one day. As far as I am concerned, I agree with such views and believe that telephone deserves more honors due to its greater influence.
Granted, television has been taking up living room for so long time. It provide families with enjoyable time, much often we also share the joys with guests. Television is the center of human life, but gradually the position is replaced by something else, such as computer and telephone.
我们在托福独立写作中不需要让步段你应该直接提出的理由。
不需要讲对方的理由。
However, compared with television, telephone evolves more quickly. Today's telephone can be treated as a portable assistant. It can do almost what computer can do and even something computer cannot. Such strong abilities attract more attention of everyone.
看到你这一段我真的很想说你的细节呢?哪些是手机能做但是电脑不能做的?而且你的main point是他进化比较快,那么你后面的句子中没有论证到进化啊?
Primarily, with telephone people are able to get touch with anyone at any time and any place. By using telephone can we save lots of time. Giving a call can
make a take-out you have reserved before to be delivered directly to your home, even though you are on the way home. It also help citizens find policeman when encountered with an emergency. Only telephone can meet the demand of quick reaction.
Moreover, as the dominant type of telephone, smart phone supply us with powerful ability as computer has. In the past, people can only enjoy the convenience of computer at home or office, confining us to limited areas. With high speed wireless networks and comparable processing ability, telephone can also let people enjoy online video, instant message service or something else that needs Internet. What's more, all these can be done without required location and time point.
The last factor is the advanced interactions between human and telephone, which not only add to the joy but also enhance the efficiency. The traditional machines in everyday life, like computer or television, provide laggard from of interactions. People need to adapt to a controller with redundant buttons, not mention to the computer keyboard, which often has more than one hundred keys. Fortunately, the newest smart phone has changed it. To illustrate, this year Samsung Corporation published a smart phone called S4, which can guide users to make a number of amazing interactions. Traditionally, users need actively press a button if they want to stop a video being played, while S4 can detect whether the owner is watching or not, and pause the video by itself when the owner is not watching. Surprisingly, S4 can assist users finish scrolling web page
according users' eye-scrolling without moving fingers.
By and large, although telephone and television respectively show importance in different aspects. The above-mention reasons are combined to justify my standpoint that the telephone indeed influence people's lives much greater than television.
评分标准1:effectively addresses the writing topic and task: 有效地回应主题,字数在480。
字数符合最低300的要求,但是在内容上是有一些问题的。
就如你我给你的两个蓝色部分原因已经分别在段的后面给你指出了。
评分标准2:well organized and well developed结构上中间段是不太符合要求的。
一般我们是main point + development 所以你第三自然段是结构是错误的,在发展上第三段的development和main point 不符合其次第5段的蓝色部分也是与你的main point 不符
评分标准3:uses specific details and examples to support you view 最后一个理由的例子写的很好,但是你的前面两个理由有些单薄
评分标准4:displays language facility by demonstrating syntactic variety, word choice and idiom。
在语法错误上有一定的错误我上面都给你指出了。

While there aresome people who claim that this kind of launch is a waste of money or time because it could not bring any benefits for citizens, I hold a different opinion. From my perspective, space exploration is necessary.Admittedly, space travel or space exploration would waste a large sum of money. By spending much money on doing research regarding outer space life, government loses their focus on civil life where many people are suffering from starvation, air pollution and epidemics. Under this circumstance, there is no doubt that people would complain about government’s aloft behaviors. However,if viewing from a different angle, space exploration is a long time investment. Never should we expect the journey would bring immediate economic returns to the country. In this case, space travel and space exploration is quite helpful for the country. To begin with, space exploration might bring benefits for us to search for new energy resource. That is to say, other planets may be rich in certain kinds of resources that are in great shortage on the earth. According to the report released after the exploration to the Mars, the officials from NASA confirms that Mars contains a great volume of natural gas and iron. Moreover, engineers have also noticed that these resources on the planet are able to explore, and if they could solve the problem of long time transportation, these resources could be used on the earth. Consequently, the use of natural gas will not consume burning of petroleum and make our planet a better place to live in.In addition, space exploration aims to improve level of technology. In other words, it is the development of advanced technology that makes it possible to explore the outer space. It is usually the case that without the technology of launchingsatellite into the space, it is impossible for people to conduct research. As a result, scientists have to improved their knowledge in related areas so that they could guarantee the launch of these rockets, as well as satellites. Meanwhile, to ensure astronauts’safety in the outer space, scientists have to repeated work on their suits in order to keep astronauts away from radioactivity. Also, to fill with enough oxygen, scientists have to run encapsulation tests again and again. Only if these equipment are guaranteed can astronauts be safely working in the outer space. To sum up, the seemly useless space exploration would cost a large sum of money; however, this space activity could still bring benefits in both new energy searching and technology improvement.新托福写作万能素材:科技改变我们的生活How Does Technology Impact Your Daily Life?Over the last two decades, our lives have been slowly taken over by technology. Take a moment to look around you. How many screens do you see? Did you include the one you’re reading this on?Our Wi-Fi-enabled gadgets have changed the way we work, play, and even raise our children. T oday’s offices would be unrecognizable to workers of the past thanks to the proliferation of emails, video conferencing, tablets, laptop computers, and other relatively recent innovations. Meanwhile, more and more of our personal time is influenced by our gadgets (OK, smart phones) with each passing day....The novelty of constant online connections and instant communication may have begun to wear thin for older generations, but the next wave of Americans have no suchqualms. Their tech-dependent lifestyles are already causing huge changes in both the professional and private spheres. The change may be inevitable…unless theWi-Fi cuts out, of course. Our Digitized Professional LivesAs many as 79% of employees now “work on virtual teams,”be it by email, online collaboration, messaging, video conferences, or some combination of any of the above. A 2013 Pew Research study found “94% of jobholders are Internet users.” This includes full-time, part-time, and freelance workers in technology companies, big corporations, and small businesses, who work in cities, the suburbs, rural America, and everywhere in between. For most of the last century, communicating professionally meant writing letters, sending faxes, or spending hours on the phone. Not anymore. Email is now theprimary means of communication in the modern workplace. We are communicating more, faster, and better than ever before. And employers have been reaping the benefits. A major report cited by British newspaper The Telegraph found that the incorporation of technology into the workplace has led to an “84% increase in productivity per hour for office workers since the 1970s.” The major influencers? Email, business software, and yes, even cell phones.Technology Gets PersonalWe don’t leave technology at the workplace. In fact, our private lives might beeven more tech-enabled than our professional lives. In the 1980s and 1990s, our televisions were often the height of our home technology. Some people had clunky personal computers, a Nintendo for the kids, and maybe even a telephone in their car(remember those?).Information from the Census Bureau tells us that 15% of homes had a personal computer in 1989; by 2011 that number climbed to 75%. Now we have desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets, Apple watches, GPS-enabled cars, and more coming every day. Forget unplugging after the 5 or-6 o’clock whistle blows—we plug in instead. In fact, going without tech might trigger an existential crisis for some (that sound you hear is Albert Camus rolling over in his grave). Our technology helps us learn, date, eat, socialize, and so much more. The only time we don’t use technology is when we are exercising flying sleeping, well, dead. For now…A New Generation of Digital NativesAnyone born before the advent of technology in their daily lives is considered a“digital immigrant.”Older generations invented our tech-enabled society, but thegenerations born in this millennium are the first true “digital natives.”While the “digital rehab” programs older generations have begun using to push back against the all-consuming digital saturation are gaining traction, these programs may make as much sense to younger generations as getting up from the couch to change the channel on the TV. The genie is out of the bottle, and technology is said to have even changed the way younger generations perceive reality. We’re assuming they perceive reality as that thing happening just beyond the horizon of their laptop, tablet, or smartphone screen (as long as someone is tweeting about it). Although it’s easy to make fun of the next generation’s digital obsession, it will soon be impossible to ignore it. The digital natives are on pace to outnumber the digital immigrants beforelong. The Bottom LineTechnology is now so integrated with our lives that going without it can causesevere anxiety for some. It’s not hard to see why. Technology has taken over. Both our professional and personal lives are now technology dependent. While older generations are fighting back with unplugged retreats, the next wave of Americans can’t picture their lives without tech. They might not have anything to worry about. The future favors these digital natives.ETS官方托福作文满分范文:科技改变教育Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? With the help of technology, students nowadays can learn more information and learn it more quickly. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.托福写作满分作文范文:Topic: 39Technology has greatly improved the way we get information. Students can now get more information, get it more quickly, and get it more conveniently. The Internet and the World Wide Web has opened every major library and database to students around the world. Information comes not only in print form, but also in multimedia. You can get audio and video data. You can get information about events in the past as well as events that unfold as you watch your computer monitor.Information comes at the speed of the Internet which is to say in nanoseconds. ? You can type in a few key words in your search engine, and the engine will search the entire WWW to find information on your topic. You don't have to spend hours pouring over card catalogs in the library and looking at theshelves. This research is done for you instantly on the Web.It is certainly more convenient to sit at home and do research on your computer. Your computer is open 24-hours a day, unlike a library or office which has limited hours and limited resources. You can do research in your pajamas while you eat breakfast. What could be more convenient?Technology, especially the Internet, has certainly changed the quantity and quality of the information we get. The speed and convenience of a computer helps students learn more, more quickly.托福独立写作范文:科技改变人的生活质量2014年8月23日托福独立写作题目:Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Although science and technology will continue to improve, the most significant improvement for the quality of people's lives has already taken place. 重复2011.3.11NA2014年8月23日托福独立写作范文:It has been argued that despite the continued advancement of science and technology, our lives have changed in a way that is more tremendous than ever. I, however, disagree.First, environmental problems are still on the waiting list. Technology-dominated industrialization has generated such problems as global warming, acid rain and urban smog, all of which have given rise to a series of adverse effects—climate change, death of aquatic life and respiratory diseases. Although the quality of life has improved, there are still many things that could be improved in China, like safety and living conditions. If the most significant transformation in living standards has taken place, how is it possible that ecocide is still a real and ever-present danger?Second, world peace still hangs by a thread. Take the Iraq War for example. It broke out eight years ago and since then Iraqis have been living in hell. Their homes are torched and destroyed and their families have been torn apart. It is certain that they have not received all the benefits of advanced technology. Superpowers are busy with nuclear experiments, but this advanced technology has brought anything but world peace. If the most significant transformation in living standards has taken place, how is it possible that some people on this planet are still in great agony?Last, the pace of life is increasingly faster and shows no sign of slowing down. Undoubtedly, development in IT industries and communication devices has enabled people to enjoy more convenient lives. However, it is also the seemingly almighty technologies that have put people in suffering. Wherever you go, cell phones make it possible for your boss to spot you and give you more work, whether you like it or not. Computers, which give companies the ability to teleconference and conduct online interviews, have turned our homes into a mere extension of our offices. If the most significant transformation in living standards has taken place, how is it possible that people now are still suffering from deprived sleep, unbalanced diet and strained family relations? All in all, science and technology have been and will continue to develop, but the fundamental transformation of our lives has not yet taken place.。

Archaic era (8,000-1,000 B.C) were, in a way, already adapted to beginnings ofcultivation through their intensive gathering and processing of wild plant foods. In bothareas, there was a well-established ground stone tool technology, a method of pounding(5) and grinding nuts and other plant foods, that could be adapted to newly cultivated foods.By the end of the Archaic era, people in eastern North America had domesticated certainnative plants, including sunflowers; weeds called goosefoot, sumpweed, or marsh elder;and squash or gourds of some kind. These provided seeds that were important sources ofcarbohydrates and fat in the diet.(10) The earliest cultivation seems to have taken place along the river valleys of theMidwest and the Southeast, with experimentation beginning as early as 7,000 years agoand domestication beginning 4,000 to 2,000 years ago. Although the term “Neolithic” isnot used in North American prehistory, these were the first steps toward the same majorsubsistence changes that took place during the Neolithic (8,000-2,000 B.C.) period(15) elsewhere in the world.Archaeologists debate the reasons for beginning cultivation in the eastern part of thecontinent. Although population and sedentary living were increasing at the time, there islittle evidence that people lacked adequate wild food resources; the newly domesticatedfoods supplemented a continuing mixed subsistence of hunting, fishing, and gathering(20) wild plants, Increasing predictability of food supplies may have been a motive. It hasbeen suggested that some early cultivation was for medicinal and ceremonial plants rather thanfor food. One archaeologist has pointed out that the early domesticated plants were allweedy species that do well in open, disturbed habitats, the kind that would form aroundhuman settlements where people cut down trees, trample the ground, deposit trash, and(25) dig holes. It has been suggested that sunflower, sumpweed, and other plants almostdomesticated themselves, that is , they thrived in human –disturbed habitats, so humansintensively collected them and began to control their distribution. Women in the Archaiccommunities were probably the main experimenters with cultivation, becauseethnoarchaeological evidence tells us that women were the main collectors of plant foodand had detailed knowledge of plants. The passage mainly discusses which of the following aspects of the life of Archaic peoples?A The principal sources of food that made up their dietB Their development of ground stone tool technologyC Their development of agricultureD Their distribution of work between men and women该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1The word “these” in line 13 refers toA seedsB river valleysC the Midwest and the SoutheastD experimentation and domestication该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1According to the passage, when did the domestication of plants begin in North America?A 7,000 years agoB 4,000 to 2,000 years agoC Long after the Neolithic periodD Before the Archaic period该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1The word “adequate” in line 18 is closest in meaning toA sufficientB healthfulC variedD dependable该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1According to the passage, which of the following was a possible motive for the cultivation of plants in eastern North America?A Lack of enough wild food sourcesB The need to keep trees from growing close to settlementsC Provision of work for an increasing populationD Desire for the consistent availability of food该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1The phrase “rather than” in line 21 is closest in meaning toA in addition toB instead ofC as a replacementD such as该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1The plant “sumpweed” is mentioned in line 25 in order toA contrast a plant with high nutritional value with one with little nutritional valueB explain the medicinal use of a plantC clarify which plants grew better in places where trees were not cut downD provide an example of a plant that was easy to domesticate该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1The word “thrived” in li ne 26 is closest in meaning toA stayedB originatedC grew wellD died out该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1According to the passage, which of the following is true about all early domesticated plants?A They were varieties of weeds.B They were moved from disturbed areas.C They succeeded in areas with many trees.D They failed to grow in trampled or damaged areas.该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1According to the passage, it is thought that most of the people who began cultivating plants wereA medical workersB leaders of ceremoniesC womenD hunters该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1答案:CSome animal behaviorists argue that certain animals can remember past events, anticipate future ones, make plans and choices, and coordinate activities withina group. These scientists, however, are cautious about the extent to which animalscan be credited with conscious processing.(5) Explanations of animal behavior that leave out any sort of consciousness atall and ascribe actions entirely to instinct leave many questions unanswered. One example of such unexplained behavior: Honeybees communicate the sources ofnectar to one another by doing a dance in a figure-eight pattern. The orientationof the dance conveys the position of the food relative to thesun''s position in the sky,(10)and the speed of the dance tells how far the food source is from the hive. Mostresearchers assume that the ability to perform and encode the dance is innate and showsno special intelligence. But in one study, when experimenters kept changing the site of thefood source, each time moving the food 25 percent farther from the previous site, foraginghoneybees began to anticipate where the food source would(15)appear next. When the researchers arrived at the new location, they would find thebees circling the spot, waiting for their food. No one has yet explained how bees, whose brains weigh four ten-thousandths of an ounce, could have inferred the locationof the new site. Other behaviors that may indicate some cognition include tool use. Many(20)animals, like the otter who uses a stone to crack mussel shells, are capable of using objects in thenatural environment as rudimentary tools. One researcher has found that mother chimpanzeesoccasionally show their young how to use tools to open hard nuts. In one study, chimpanzeescompared two pairs of food wells containing chocolate chips. One pair might contain, say, fivechips and three chips, the other(25)our chips and three chips. Allowed to choose which pair they wanted, thechimpanzees almost always chose the one with the higher total, showing some sort of summingability. Florida''s ancient scrub demonstrates this principle. Itssoil is pure silica, so barren it supports only lichens as ground cover.(It does, however, sustain a sand-swimming lizard that cannot live where there is moisture or plant matter(5) the soil.) Its climate, despite more than 50 inches of annual rainfall, is blistering desertplant life it can sustain is only the xerophytic, the quintessentially dry. Its altitude is amere couple of hundred feet, but it is high ground on a peninsula elsewhere close to sealevel, and its drainage is so critical that a difference of inches in elevation can bring majorchanges in its plant communities. Its aspect is flat, direct, brutal―and subtropical.(10) Florida''s surrounding lushness cannot impinge on its''desert scrubbiness. This does not sound like an attractive place. It does not look much like one either;Shrubby little oaks, clumps of scraggly bushes, prickly pear, thorns, and tangles. "It appearSaid one early naturalist," to desire to display the result of the misery through which it hasPassed and is passing." By our narrow standards, scrub is not beautiful; neither does it meet(15) our selfish utilitarian needs. Even the name is an epithet, a synonym for the stunted, thescruffy, the insignificant, what is beautiful about such a place? The most important remaining patches of scrub lie along the Lake Wales Ridge, a chainof paleoislands running for a hundred miles down the center of Florida, in most places lessthan ten miles wide. R is relict seashore, tossed up millions of years ago when ocean levels(20) were higher and the rest of the peninsula was submerged. That ancient emergence isprecisely what makes Lake Wales Ridge so precious: it has remained unsubmerged , itsecosystems essentially undisturbed, since the Miocene era. Some of this heat isMoved by winds and some by ocean currents, and some gets stored in the atmosphere in(5) the form of latent heat. The term "latent heat" refers to the energy that has to be used toConvert liquid water to water vapor. We know that if we warm a pan of water on a stove,it will evaporate, or turn into vapor, faster than if it is allowed to sit at room temperature. We also know that if we hang wet clothes outside in the summertime they will dry fasterthan in winter, when temperatures are colder. The energy used in both cases to change(10) liquid water to water vapor is supplied by heat―supplied by the stove in the first caseand by the Sun in the latter case. This energy is not lost. It is stored in water vapor in theatmosphere as latent heat. Eventually, the water stored as vapor in the atmosphere willcondense to liquid again, and the energy will be released to the atmosphere. In the atmosphere, a large portion of the Sun''s incoming energy is used to evaporate(15) Water, primarily in the tropical oceans. Scientists havetried to quantify this proportionof the Sun''s energy. By analyzing temperature, water vapor, and wind data around theglobe, they have estimated the quantity to be about 90 watts per square meter, or nearly30 percent of the Sun''s energy. Once this latent heat is stored within the atmosphere, itcan be transported, primarily to higher latitudes, by prevailing, large-scale winds. Or it(20) can be transported vertically to higher levels in the atmosphere, where it forms cloudsand subsequent storms, which then release the energy back toThe passage mainly discusses how heatA is transformed and transported in the Earth''s atmosphereB is transported by ocean currentsC can be measured and analyzed by scientistsD moves about the Earth''s equator该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.176.The passage mentions that the tropics differ from the Earth''s polar regions in which of the following ways?A The height of cloud formation in the atmosphereB The amount of heat they receive from the SunC The strength of their largescale winds.D The strength of their oceanic currents该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1The word "convert" line 6 is closest in meaning toA mixB changeC adaptD reduce该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1Why does the author mention "the stove" in line 10?A To describe the heat of the SunB To illustrate how water vapor is storedC To show how energy is storedD To give an example of a heat source该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1According to the passage, most ocean water evaporation occurs especiallyA around the higher latitudesB in the tropicsC because of large-scale windsD because of strong ocean currents该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1According to the passage, 30 percent of the Sun''s incoming energyA is stored in clouds in the lower latitudesB is transported by ocean currentsC never leaves the upper atmosphereD gets stored as latent heat该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.181.The word "it" in line 18 refers toA square meterB the Sun''s energyC latent heatD the atmosphere该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1The word "primarily" in line 19 is closest in meaning toA chieflyB originallyC basicallyD clearly该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1The word "prevailing" in line 19 is closest in meaning toA essentialB dominantC circularD closest该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1All of the following words are defined in the passage EXCEPTA low latitudes (line)B latent heat (line5)C evaporate (line7)D atmosphere (line140)该题您未回答:х该问题分值: 0.1答案:DPerhaps one of the most dramatic and important changes that took place in theMesozoic era occurred late in that era, among the small organisms that populate theuppermost, sunlit portion of the oceans--the plankton. The term "plankton" is a broadone, designating all of the small plants and animals that float about or weakly propel(5) themselves through the sea. In the late stages of the Mesozoic era. during the Cretaceousperiod, there was a great expansion of plankton that precipitated skeletons or shellscomposed of two types of mineral: silica and calcium carbonate. This developmentradically changed the types of sediments that accumulated on the seafloor, because, while the organic parts of the plankton decayed after the organisms died, their mineralized(10)skeletons often survived and sank to the bottom. For the first time in the Earth''s longhistory, very large quantities of silica skeletons, which would eventually harden into rock, began to pile up in parts of the deep sea. Thick deposits of calcareous ooze made up ofthe tiny remains of the calcium carbonate-secreting plankton also accumulated as neverbefore. The famous white chalk cliffs of Dover, in the southeast of England, are just one(15)example of the huge quantities of such material that amassed during the Cretaceousperiod; there are many more. Just why the calcareous plankton were so prolific duringthe latter part of the Cretaceous period is not fully understood. Such massive amountsof chalky sediments have never since been deposited over a comparable period of time. The high biological productivity of the Cretaceous oceans also led to ideal conditions(20)for oil accumulation. Oil is formed when organic material trapped in sediments is slowlyburied and subjected to increased temperatures and pressures, transforming it intopetroleum. Sediments rich in organic material accumulated along the margins of theTethys Seaway, the tropical east-west ocean that formed when Earth''s single landmass(known as Pangaea) split apart during the Mesozoic era. Many of today''s important oil(25)fields are found in those sediments--in Russia, the Middle East, the Gulf of Mexico, andWhat does the passage mainly discuss?。

studdents necessary teaching materials with the help of PowerPoint, which has become the most common subsidiary teaching method throughout the globe. The reasons why teachers enjoy using PowerPoint while teaching instead of writing on those traditional and old-fashioned blackborads lie in the following three respects. To begin with, using PowerPoint to present knowledge can save both teachers and students plenty of time in class.Furthermore, teaching through PowerPoint is so convenient for lecturers that they can effortlessly and rapidly show the knowledge that needs learning through just several taps at the remote-controller.Besides,PowerPoint generally has more storage of information because, theoretically, there is almost no litmit of digital space for thisslide show presentation Consumers prefer so much to imitate their idols like pop stars that they just blindly pursue the trend and label themselves as rich.As a college student,I am supposed to buy what I can afford.I’ll take the factors like style, quality and design into consideration, regardless of whatever the brand is.大学生英语四级作文万能模板10The use of translation apps is becomging increasingly popularThe use of translation apps is becoming increasingly popular. Why?Admittedly,in the contemporay society,an increasing number of people, with the help of translation apps, find it convenient to read foreign literature or essays. On the one hand, these apps can bring users greater efficiency and help them save more time or energy, particularly for those who have no knowledge of a foreign language. For instance,a host of people may have a variety of difficulties or troubles in learning English, but with the assistance of these apps,it will not be difficult for them to read and understand English materials. On the other hand,it is these apps that cuase some learners to lose motivation for studying. With Apps in hand, they are not willing to do their utmost to memorize new words, pratice speaking or writing skills every day.Fianlly, they will fail to get a good command of any foreign language.I,as a college student, deem that it is of great necessity for youngsters to use translations apps in a rational way.We should bear in mind that anytranslation app is merely a tool.Provided that one intends to master a foreign language,it is advisabel to practice each day instead of relying on translation apps.大学生英语四级作文万能模板11With the continuous progress of science and technology, great changes have taken place in the way people live. This progress has brought great convenience to people.Nonetheless,it has also made many people lazy.First, the widespread use of Internet technology, especially smart phones, allows people to know what is happening outside without going out.People just need to pick up a mobile phone, connect to the Internet, and open the corresponding software, then the major eventsof the world will be caught in their eyes. They no longer have to open books and newspapers or go out to get information.Second, the appearance of takeaways has also made people lazier.People can get whatever they want to eat without cooking for themselves or even getting up to go to a restaurant. In addition, online shopping is more enjoyable for people. Many people forgo the tiring activity of going to the mall, instead, they lie in the sofa and just move their fingers. Therefore, the decline in exercise has left many people in declining health. To sum up,the ever-changing technology brings convenience to people, but it also makes people lazy.Consequently, while improving the quality of life, people should learn to use science and technology correctly instead of relying on it blindly.大学生英语四级作文万能模板12With the progress ofthetimes, the use of smart phones, computers and other electronic products is becoming more and more common among students. And many students like violentvideogames online. This raises a question, whether violent online games will lead to students’violent tendency? From my point of view, the answer is no.First of all, through online games, students can relieve the pressure in real life and find like-minded people to communicate with, which will reduce students’irritable tendency in real life.In this way, these video games will not increase students’violent tendency. On the contrary,to a certain extent they will reduce students’irritable behaviors. Moreover, onlinevideogames are virtual and the violent elements in the games are unrealistic, and theseviolent scenes can hardly be implemented in real life.So the violence in online games has little impact on real life.To sum up,from my point of view, violent online games will not lead to students’violent tendency. The development of science and technology is bound to change people’s way of life, which will bring about a lot of influence on people’s life.It is only necessary for us to learn to use it properly.大学生英语四级作文万能模板13Numerous studies claim that addiction to technology is real and it has the same effect on the brain as drug addiction.First,no one can deny the fact that technology is of great importance to our daily life. Students should not be expected to judge whether the materials they use are up to date or how well the teacher knows about the subject. These judgments requireprofessional knowledge, which is best left for the teachers’colleagues.I think students’rating of their teachers is necessary, but it should be conducted in a way that can really shed meaningful light on teachers’performance. Instead of rating the teachers’knowledge on the subject, students should be asked to estimate what they have learned in a course, and to report on such things as a teacher’s ability to communicate with students, his or her relationship with students, and his or her ability to arouse students’interest in the subject.大学生英语四级作文万能模板16Dormitory life is an indispensable part of college life. But sometimes the harmony in the dormitory be disturbed in one way or another. As is known to all,a harmonious dormitory life is important to college students and benefits all the members. On one hand,we can have a good rest and put our heart into study. On the other hand,we will have a good mood and enjoy being together. There are several ways to create and maintain a harmonious dormitory life.Firstly, you have toevaluate your life-style and try to get rid of your dirty habits,if there are any.Secondly, when an annoying situation arises, you’ll just have to learn to tolerate each other and co-exist.Thirdly,you’ll have to share with each other and make good friends. In conclusion,we should try our best to build a harmonious dormitory life for the sake of good study and good life.大学生英语四级作文万能模板17Welcome to our university. Before you start to look around, allow me to give you a brief account of the school.Founded in1927,our university is one of this city’s earliest universities of liberal arts.It is staffed with an excellent faculty, and has a total enrollment of over10,000students.In the past years,it has turned out numerous well-qualified students and found its graduates active in professions of all walks of life.Since its establishment, the university has always steered itself toward the objective that its students have an overall healthy development. Not only does itprovide the students with basic academic courses, but it manages to expose them to the up-to-date knowledge. Just look at some big companies which compete against each other to recruit skilled personnel.Briefly speaking, more knowledge means more opportunities.More years of academic studies will help equip you with more knowledge and skills. Then if conditions change, you can slip with comparative ease from one field into another, avoid the pain of waking up to find yourself out of a job.大学生英语四级作文万能模板21Correct spelling is a basic skill in English study. However, nowadays many students do not pay much attention to it.They have their own reasons for misspelling.First of all, they like an easy way of studying, which causes some omissions and changes in spelling.Second, the teachers might not be very strict in students spelling. In China, teachers seem to be more concerned with grammar and vocabulary but not spelling. To change this situation,in my opinion, the teachers and the students should work together. On one hand, the teachers should give more attention to students spelling, asking the students to be conscious of the importance of correct spelling from the very beginning of their English study. On the other hand, the students themselves are supposed to be aware thatcorrect spelling is a must in English study. To sum up,correct spelling is so important that both students and the teachers should spare no efforts to achieve correct spelling.大学生英语四级作文万能模板22With the modernization of the world, people’s standard of living has improved a lot. Then there appears a state of sub-health among people which poses a new threat to them. There are some tpical symptoms for people who are in a state of sub-health.First of all, those who suffer from it often have a headache or backache.Secondly, they feel like having a rest frequently. What upsets us most is that, the situation spreading countrywide. Therefore,we could help our parents at home, say, share some of the housework.Furthermore,we could also tell them“I love you”every day to thank them.On the other hand, working parents are busy and have great pressure,so it is likely that they neglect their kids.Hence, to improve their relationship, parents could sit down and talk with their children, listen to their problems, help them and respect them. However, from my perspective, this is not one man’s job. Both parents and children should work to understand each other. Thus,it is crucial to have effective communication.Only in this way can the relationship between parents and children be improved!大学生英语四级作文万能模板26The two-day weekend has brought a lot of benefits to college students. It not only offers us more time to get rid of tiredness and have a good rest, but also gives us more chances to take up some hobbies, such as fishing, reading,or gardening. From these activities we can learn many things outside the classroom, which will add to our knowledge.Despite the convenience it brings us,the two-day weekend has also given rise to quite a few problems. The most serious one is that the weekdays are filled with more lesson, sometimes too many.Because our classes are limited to Monday through Friday,we haveto take more lessons each day than in the past. This leaves us little time to catch our breath during the weekdays. In order to benefit most from the two-day weekend, I have decided to make a good plan for the two-day weekend.Of course I should take this chance to relax. But during the weekend,I will still set aside enough time to study.By doing so ii can have a good time as well as make progress in my studies.大学生英语四级作文万能模板27Every year, college students are inspired to help students with their study in underdeveloped areas in china. They have been trying their best to impart knowledge and offering help to those students who are so eager to learn. This volunteer practice has been beneficial in two aspects. On one hand, college volunteers are really devoted to the cause. They have opened the eyes of students in underdeveloped regions to the outside world by bringing them new knowledge and thoughts. As a result, they are extremely welcome and respected by the children there. On the other hand, college students have received a rigorous training by adapting to the。

关于科技对人们生活的影响英语作文
关于科技对人们生活的影响英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Technology has greatly impacted people's lives in various ways, revolutionizing the way we live, work, communicate, and even entertain ourselves. From the invention of the wheel thousands of years ago to the creation of the internet in the late 20th century, technology has continually evolved and shaped the world we live in today. In this essay, we will explore the positive and negative impacts of technology on people's lives. One of the most significant ways technology has influenced people's lives is through the improvement of communication. With the invention of the telephone, followed by the internet, social media, and smartphones, people can now easily connect with others across the globe in real-time. This has made it easier for people to stay in touch with friends and family, collaborate with colleagues, and even meet new people online. Communication has become more efficient and convenient, breaking down barriers of distance and time.Another way technology has impacted people's lives is through its influence on education. Online learning platforms, digital textbooks, and educational apps have made learning more accessible and interactive. Students can now access a wealth of information at their fingertips and learn at their own pace. Additionally, technology has enabled the growth of distance learning, allowing students to study from anywhere in the world. This has opened up opportunities for people who may not have had access to traditional education.Furthermore, technology has transformed the way we work. With the rise of automation, artificial intelligence, and remote work, the nature of work has changed drastically. Tasks that were once time-consuming and manual can now be automated, freeing up time for more creative and strategic work. Remote work has also become more common, allowing employees to work from home or any location with an internet connection. This has provided greater flexibility and work-life balance for many people. In addition to communication, education, and work, technology has also had a significant impact on healthcare. Medical advancements such as telemedicine, electronic health records, wearable devices, and AI diagnostics have improved thequality of care and patient outcomes. Patients can now easily connect with healthcare providers, track their health data, and receive personalized treatment recommendations. Technology has also enabled medical research to progress at a faster pace, leading to breakthroughs in the treatment of various diseases. While technology has brought about many benefits, it has also raised concerns about its negative impacts on people's lives. One major concern is the issue of privacy and data security. With the proliferation of social media, online shopping, and smart devices, personal information is constantly being collected and stored by companies. This has raised concerns about the misuse of data, identity theft, and cybersecurity threats. People are now more aware of the need to protect their privacy online and demand greater transparency from tech companies.Another negative impact of technology is the potential for job displacement due to automation. As machines and AI continue to replace manual and repetitive tasks, many workers are at risk of losing their jobs. This has led to concerns about unemployment, income inequality, and the need for reskilling and upskilling in the workforce. It is important for society to address these challenges and ensure that technology is used to create opportunities for all individuals. In conclusion, technology has significantly impacted people's lives in both positive and negative ways. It has improved communication, education, work, and healthcare, making life more convenient and efficient. However, it has also raised concerns about privacy, job displacement, and inequality. It is essential for society to embrace technology responsibly, address its challenges, and harness its potential to create a better future for all. By leveraging the power of technology for good, we can continue to improve people's lives and shape a more connected and inclusive world.篇2The Impact of Technology on People's LivesTechnology has become an integral part of modern society, reshaping the way people live, work, communicate, and interact with the world around them. From the invention of the wheel to the development of smartphones and artificial intelligence, technology has continuously transformed human life in numerous ways. In this essay, we will explore the various ways in which technology has impacted people's lives and discuss both the positive and negative effects of this influence. One of the most significant impacts of technology on people's lives is the way it has revolutionized communication. With the advent of the internet and social media platforms, people can now connect and communicate with one another instantly, regardless of distance. This has made it easier for people to stay in touch with friends and family, collaborate with colleagues, and access information from around the world. However, the rise of social media has also brought about new challenges, such as the spread of fake news, cyberbullying, and concerns about privacy and data security.Technology has also transformed the way people work and do business. The automation of tasks through machines and AI has increased efficiency and productivity in many industries, leading to economic growth and job creation. However, this automation has also led to job displacement and income inequality, as many low-skilled jobs are replaced by machines. Additionally, the rise of the gig economy has given rise to new forms of work, such as freelance and contract work, which offer flexibility but lack stability and benefits. In the field of healthcare, technology has led to numerous advancements in medical treatment, diagnosis, and patient care. From the development of life-saving medical devices to the useof telemedicine and health tracking apps, technology has improved access to healthcare services and increased patient outcomes. However, the healthcare industry also faces challenges such as the cost of medical technology, data security and privacy concerns, and the digital divide that limits access to care for underserved populations.Another area where technology has had a profound impact on people's lives is education. The internet has made it possible for students to access a wealth of information and resources online, allowing them to learn at their own pace and tailor their education to their individual needs. Online learning platforms and educational apps have also made education more accessible to people in remote areas or with disabilities. However, concerns remain about the quality of online education, the digital divide that limits access for some students, and the potential for technology to replace traditional teaching methods. In the realm of entertainment and leisure, technology has created new ways for people to consume media, connect with others, and engage in recreational activities. Streaming services have revolutionized the way people watch movies and TV shows, while social media and gaming platforms have become popular forms of entertainment and communication. Virtual reality andaugmented reality technologies have also opened up new possibilities for immersive experiences in gaming, education, and other fields. However, concerns about screen time, online addiction, and the impact of violent or inappropriate content on people's behavior and mental health remain prominent issues. In conclusion, technology has had a profound impact on people's lives in numerous ways, transforming the ways in which we communicate, work, learn, and entertain ourselves. While technology has brought about many benefits and advancements, it also poses challenges and risks that must be addressed. As society continues to embrace and adapt to new technologies, it is important to consider the ethical, social, and environmental implications of these changes and strive to create a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.篇3The Impact of Technology on People's LivesTechnology plays a significant role in shaping our daily lives. Additionally, the increasing reliance on technology hasraised concerns about our dependence on it, as well as the potential risks of cyber attacks and data breaches. In conclusion, technology has had a profound impact on people's lives in a variety of ways. From communication to work, education, and entertainment, technology has transformed the world we live in.
