Module 2
Sam and Amy are at home. They are making a cake for their Mum and Dad. Dad is reading. Mum is working.
Oh, no! the noise is big. Dad and Mum can’t work. They say, “Please be quite, Sam and Amy! Please go to your room!”

I am a girl. My name is Wang Mei. I’m nine. I have many friends. I like them. My friend Li Ming can run fast and jump far. Zhang Dong can play football and basketball, but he can’t swim. We are going to visit the Ming Tombs. There are lots of tombs. And there are stone animals. There are 24 stone animals. They are very big. There is a lion. There is a camel. There is an elephant. And there is a horse. And there are scary animals, too. Look! What’s
that? It’s a monster.
Module 9
I’m Daming. We are going to have Sports Day next week. Sam is going to do high jump. Amy is going to run a race. Lingling is going to do long jump. I am going to run a race, too. I am going to train every day. I’m going to run in the park. And I’m going to do exercises there.
Module 10
I’m Sam. Amy and I are going to go to Hainan tomorrow with my mum and dad. We are going to go by plane. And we are going to get up at 5 o’clock. I am going to swim in the sea. Amy is going to play volleyball on the beach.
At the airport, we meet a boy. He is from China. His name is Xiaoyong. He is going to Hong Kong with his mum. He is going to visit his grandparents. He is going to swim in the sea, too.
Now we are at Hainan. Where is my swimsuit?
