【教学过程】
一．Warm up and review:
1. Greeting: Good morning,
2.复习前面学过的表示身高的词tall, short.
二．New lesson begins:
1.让学生拿出事先准备好的皮尺，互相量自己的身高，并写出来和同桌比较。
2.教师引导学生观察教材插图，学生交流对图画的理解，教师作补充。
讲解对身高的提问句型：Howtall are you? I’m _____ meters’tall.强调身高的正确读法。
学生用刚才测量的结果回答问题。
注意比较学生之间的身高。
3.播放录音，要求学生不看教材听录音。
能大概听明白录音意思。
4.再读课文，让学生跟读。
5.Let’sdo it!让学生说出每幅图的内容，三名学生想要知道他们的身高。
他们让老师测量。
然后，谈论彼此的身高。
6.练习对话：通过用皮尺量他们每人的身高引导学生进行对话：

7.总结，并读课文一遍。
