3. 情感与态度：(1) 运用本单元所学核心语言讲述趣味故事，引起学生学习英语的兴趣，扩大学生阅读量；(2) 让学生了解动物与人类应是和谐、共处的关系，应共同保护地球。
二、教学重难点教学重点：(1) 学生通过听力、图片、快速阅读、词义猜测等技巧理解并阅读故事；(2) 能和伙伴一起分角色朗读故事。
教学难点：(1) 使学生在相对真实、完整的语境中接触、体验、理解语言，学会在不同时态中运用there be句型。
