(1) 教师在课件上呈现B Let’s learn图片，说：Look at the sign. We can see it in the crossing.
(2) 教师播放B Let’s learn课文动画，学生跟读。
(3) 教师播放Let’s learn部分的录音，让学生认读单词和对话，然后教师示范书写，让学生将卡片背面的灰体词描红，边描边拼读该单词或短语，看谁描得又快又好。
分角色朗读对话：Where is the Italian restaurant? Turn right here? No, turn left.最后替换关键词（地点和方向）自由操练对话。

1. 教师说指令学生做动作，共同完成游戏。
如果指令前有Simon says，学生就要按照指令去做，如果没有Simon says，则学生不得执行命令，否则视为犯规，犯规者退出。
此活动也可在小组内进行。
教师应注意将指令重点放在left, right和straight上。
如：
Simon says turn left.
Go straight.
Simon says turn right.

教师用多媒体课件展示Be a tour guide部分图片，适当讲解地图中常见的图标，并分别展示Be a tour guide中的三个旅游景点图片，先让学生尝试猜一猜景点名称，猜对后教师适当拓展介绍这三个景点以及北京其他较为著名的旅游景点。
2. 教师拿出道具小喇叭、导游小旗模拟导游，指着地图中天安门前的位置说：Now we are in front of Tian’anmen. Go straight and you can see the Palace Museum.教师教读句子，并教学导游动作，请几位学生上台模拟小导游示范朗读句子。
