一、说教材
1、教材分析
这节课是第三单元第一课时的内容，是一节词汇课。
是延续第二单元的人物学习的一个重要内容，为后面学习如何描述人物或动物的特征打了良好的基础。
2、教学目标
（1）知识目标单词：90%的学生可以掌握tall,short,fat,thin 及句子：Look at... It’s...
（2）能力目标：85%的学生听懂、会说、会认读几个形容词tall，fat，thin，short.
（3）情感目标：通过本节课的学习，让学生能够爱好动物，懂的动物是世界不可缺少的一部分；进一步激发学生学习英语的兴趣，享受学习过程带来的乐趣。
3、教学重难点
（1）教学重点
形容词：tall fat thin short 句子：Look at...It’s...
（2）教学难点
单词thin 的正确读音，灵活运用Look at…It’s…句式于本课所学的形容词中。
二、说学情
三年级这个年龄段的学生具有好奇、好活动、爱表现、善模仿等特点。
他们喜欢新鲜事物，对陌生语言的好奇心能激起他们对外语的兴趣。
学生之前已接触过动物名称的单词及一些简单句式，学生对此的学习兴趣很高，学习氛围浓厚，主要是让学生在“学中玩，玩中学”的环境中掌握知识。
三、说教法、学法
教法：《英语课程标准》指出：小学阶段英语课程的目的是激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养他们英语学习的积极态度，使他们建立初步的学习英语的自信心；使他们形成初步用英语进行简单日常交流的能力。
所以本节课我确立了以“游戏教学法”为主，使学生寓学于乐，在活泼、轻忪、愉快的气氛中自然而然地获得英语知识与技能。
同时我将辅以动作教学法和全身反应法等，努力提高教学效果。
学法：当代认知心理学家指出：没有任何教学目标比“使学生成为独立的、自主的、高效的学习者”更重要。
因此，教会学生学习，传授有效的学习方法，已被当前教育界视为提高学习效率的有效途径。
为培养学生良好的学习方法和学习习惯，我让学生从语音的角度进行联想，利用对比的方法来帮助识记，如反义词，还有合作学习法等。
以提高学生的学习能力。
四、说教学过程
1、热身、复习(Warm-up/Revision)
（1）日常口语会话展示。
（2）教师播放chant师生边唱边做动作（以前学过的一首歌谣，里面含有一些形容词。
）
（3）look and guess学生看图说、猜单词，复习上册所学动物类单词。
活动设计意图：师生问候，拉近老师和学生之间的距离。
通过节奏感强、欢快的chant，创设语言学习的氛围，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，为本课的学习埋下伏笔。
2、呈现新课(Presentation)
（1）展示一组对比图片：两只猴子，对比他们的胖瘦,引出单词fat、thin,板书单词（可以伴有一些夸张的动作），教师领读，学生跟读学习单词。
教单词有几个步骤：
1）拼读及发音2）书写3）跟录音机读4）利用卡片在具体情境中让学生说
活动设计意图：在真实的情境中学习，便于学生理解和感悟。
通过教师的动作教学法，学生对单词达到听说认读的目的。
在学习单词的过程中，就体现了从语音角度和利用反义词的学习方法。
（2）再展示一组对比图片：两只长颈鹿，对比他们的高矮,引出单词tall、short用同样的方法学习。
（3）让学生用fat、thin、tall、short说一句话(加些提示语，例如：a:以你的同学为例…is…b:以你的家人为例My…is…c:以你熟悉的明星为例…is…）让学生联系生活，找身边的例子。
明白生活中的英语，能学有所用。
（4）联系课文情境利用4个新单词自编对话（三人一小组，以优生带后进生，熟练后交换角色达到理解并流利朗读。
）让学生小组合作学习，在合作中找各自的优点为我所用。
小组合作学习为学生提供一个较为轻松、自主的学习环境。
更能突出学生的主体地位，培养主动参与的意识，激发学生的求知欲。
3、练习扩展（Practice development）
（1）Let’s do的内容。
a. 观看Let’s do的视频。
b. 老师发指令，学生跟着说做动作，慢慢引导学生自己发指令做动作。
通过全身反应教学法，学生利用肢体语言，帮助理解内容。
（2）find the antonyms找出这些词的反义词。
（big, small,
short ,tall, fat, thin, white,black）
（3）游戏1：sharp eyes （在屏幕上瞬间闪过学过的单词，让学生快速说）
（4）游戏2：Act and guess（教师请学生上台，悄悄对他说单词，该学生做动作，其他学生猜单词。
）
通过游戏，以玩的形式充分调动学生的积极性和参与性，在紧张有趣的游戏中，巩固所学单词。
（5）draw and say（学生用课前画好的人物或动物图片，四人一个小组，讨论图片内容，应用所学句式。
如，look at my monkey! It’s thin.）词不离句，句不离词，将所学单词放在句子中进行灵活运用，进行语言扩展。
（6）情感教育（让学生讨论在动物园不可以做的事。
）
4、总结、布置作业（summary）
（1）这节课你学习到了什么？
（2）作业：写单词、读课文。
课后收集一些动物名称及一些形容词。
这种作业设计能使学生很好的对所学知识加以巩固，让学生拓展一些课外的知识，增强学生的求知欲。

学生已经在上册学过有关动物的单词，在此基础上激发学生的元认知，以听力语篇的形式，通过创设情境，任务设置，从语篇到词汇再对语篇的教学模式，层层递进，引领学生如何描述自己喜爱的动物，归纳知识点，提升能力。
本课的主题是“animals”，教师利用Let’s chant热身，激发学生的元认知；介绍主线人物Baymax,创设去动物园的真实情境，利用听力语篇整体呈现词汇，在词汇的新授过程中，教师注重滚动旧知，以图片及视频的形式丰富词汇的音义形；接着，设置各种小游戏，巩固学生辨认及运用词汇的能力；通过绘本阅读，进步挖掘词汇的内涵意义，并在此基础上进行说的运用。

二、教学背景分析1.内容分析：本课的教学内容是人教版《英语》三年级下册Unit 3At the Zoo A Let’s Learn 部分，本单元的主题是动物，通过学生去动物园，学习如何描述动物。
本课是第二时，是一节词汇课，主要是学习四个形容词：tall, short, thin, fat，并能准确运用句型：Look at that … It’s …来描述动物。
在学习本课之前，学生已经学习了关于“动物、颜色”等词汇，因此，本课学习时应设计活动，激活学生元认知，滚动知识，以帮助学生建构知识体系，再在此基础上，导入新课，拓展知识。
2.学情分析本节课的授课对象是小学三年级的学生，他们对英语有浓厚的兴趣，活泼乐学；本课的主题是“animals”，在上学期已经学习很多动物的表达，这个单元在原来的基础上学习如何描述动物的外貌特征。

我将通过Free talk和与学生一起做ready的动作，创设轻松的情景，让学生在老师的带动下做好学习的准备，活跃课堂气氛，使学生乐于进入英语课堂中。
2、情境中感知新授。
我将设置看谁学的快，看谁读得准，看谁记得牢，看谁做得好，看谁说得好几个比赛，调动学生的情绪。
让学生在情景中先听音，猜词意，运用，再书写的顺序进行单词的教学，培养学生听的注意力，并结合实际情景去运用。
