【教学过程】
一．Warm up and review:告诉学生一个新单元将要开始了，她们将要学习如何谈论自己。
二．Lead-in:我们都有生日，她们是特别的日子。
让我们听听，并找出如何告诉他人到目前为止我们有过多少生日。
三．New concept:
1.展示年轻人和老年人的照片，学习第一部分展示图片和例子，提出问题并提供答案。
播放录音，让学生看书跟读。
学习理解----Howold are you? ----I’m ____ years old.
2.读对话，学生先跟读，然后学生自读一遍，最后分角色朗读。
3.操练句型----How old are you?----I’m ____ years old.学生可以扮演角色来操练。
同学甲：How old are you?
同学乙：I’m ________ years old.How old are you?
同学丙：（弯下腰扮演老人）I’m ninety years old.How old are you?

4.讲解并让学生注意一岁的表达方式：one year old
5.学习第二部分，学生将要找出每个人的年龄和出生日期，三人一组，两个学生一问一答，一个学生记录，将信息填入表格。
6.巩固检测，老师在教室里四处走动以经行巩固检测，一个一个的问学生问题：Whenis your birthday? How old are you?
7.总结，结束新课。
