B.To bring comfort to volunteers.C.To burns the volunteers’mouth.D.To cause some temporary pain.15.How was the test carried out?A.By giving numbers.B.By using examples.C.By making a comparison.D.By presenting research findings.第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。

said “Yes, please.”Later she told me that she had just had an operation and couldn't
lift things very well. After getting the baby girl out I handed her my second smile card.
