二、情态动词的特征(1)情态动词本身有词义,但词义不完整,因此不能独立作谓语,只能和主要动词一起构成谓语。

例如:You should lie down.(3)情态动词一般没有人称和数的变化(即不管是何人称,后面接的情态动词都不变)。
