Tocheck the adjustment, rotate the brake knob counterclockwise until it stops. Turning the brake knobclockwise 1 to 1 1/2 turns should lock the monitor. If the monitor does not lock, remove the lockmechanism, inspect for wear and replace components as necessary.• Replace the identification tag if it is worn or damaged.。

Extend awing using a Remote Control and press the UP button again on the GC116I to verify that the unit is working properly (the awning should Retract)f.Set the wind speed adjustment dial of the anemometer to in between 1-2.Wind speed adjustmentUp ButtonP2 Button LED6.Programming the GC274B to a Motion Sensor (98GC779G)This procedure will require opening up the motion sensor module by following the directions below;a.Remove the 2 small cross head screws which secure the motion sensor to the mountingbracket. See Fig.1.Fig.1b.Detach the motion sensor from the bracket, the base plate is magnetized so will need tobe gently lifted off. Then turn it over. See Fig.2.Fig.2c. Remove the 4 cross head screws holding the module together. Remove the base plateand silicone insert. See Fig.3.Fig.3d. Turn the base plate over (Magnet down). Then place the motion sensor on top of it sothat the magnet is aligned with the reed switch. See fig.4. Ensure that the magnet and reed switch arealigned and verify the electrical connection before proceeding.d.Press and hold the MIDDLE and RIGHT buttons on the GC274B (Fig 2) forabout 3 seconds until the Green LED starts to flash.e.Press the Stop button on the Motor controller (see fig.4). The green LED willilluminate continuously.f.Press the programming button on the GC779G Motion sensor (See Fig.4). Boththe Purple LED on the Motion sensor and the green LED on the Motor controller will flash once and extinguish. This completes the programming sequence.g.Ensure that the code was accepted by pressing the Program button on theGC779G Motion sensor again. The Awning should retract.h.If the Awning does not retract, repeat steps a. to f.i.Set the Adjustment Dial to the desired sensitivity level 1 to 5. Never set higherthan 5. Operating & Maintenance Instructions
The Akron Style 3443 Mercury Quick Attack Monitor is designed to provide efficient trouble-free
operation for many
years. The following operating and maintenance instructions are provided to assist in obtaining the best performance for this unit.

Maximum Flow: 500gpm (1900 lpm)
Maximum Pressure: 150psi (1034 kPa, 10.3 bar)
Weight: 14 lbs. less nozzle
PRODUCT WARNINGS
Warning: Read and follow the operating instructions before use.
Warning: Use only for fire fighting by trained operators.
Warning: Do not exceed the maximum pressure or flow ratings of the monitor.
Warning: Make sure both legs are fully deployed, all three spikes are in contact with the ground and safety strap is secure before use.
Warning: Charge the unit slowly. Rapid charging may cause a pressure surge with the potential to cause injury or damage to the unit.
Warning: Make sure the monitor is pointed in a safe direction before flowing water.
Warning: The Mercury is supplied with a 2 1/2” ball valve. Open and close the valve slowly. Opening and closing the valve too quickly may result in damage to other equipment, which can result in an injury to the operator or others.
Warning: Make sure the valve is closed when advancing the monitor. Do not move or lift the monitor while flowing.。
