《清稗类钞·敬信类》中记载了这样一个故事：一个叫蔡嶙的人向一位朋友借了一千两黄金，没打借条。
不多年，朋友去世了，他就把朋友的儿子叫到家，把一千两黄金还给他。
但朋友的儿子很惊愕，坚决不受，笑道：“没有这回事，父亲没有留给我借条，也没有口头告诉我有这事。
”蔡嶙说：“借条就在我心里，不在纸上，心中的诚信才是根本，你父亲知道我是个讲诚信的人，才没有告诉你。
他如此相信我，我又岂能失信呢?”最后还是把黄金还给了他。
该故事发人深思之处在于蔡嶙所言，借条、契约、合同等外在的法律性约束固然很重要，但人心中的诚信更重要。
如果一个人没有诚信，没有道德上的“慎独”自律，就可能去钻外在的、法律的空子，甚至为了一己私利而置法律义务于不顾。
人们对道德规范的敬重，人们心目中的诚信、道德人格和做人的尊严，就是人们的道德信仰。
道德是一种实践理性，它要解决的是“我应该怎么做?”的问题。
“我应该怎么做?”包括两个方面：一是我应该怎么做事?二是我应该怎么做人?二者不可分割，后者比前者更根本，且要通过前者表现出来。
道德信仰涉及这两个方面，但其核心是第二个方面。
道德信仰是对道德理想目标的确认和笃信，是对怎样做人的设定，是对理想人格的设定。
道德信仰以人格来证明或显示人性的神圣和尊严，显示人的价值。
一种道德信仰的确立，代表着一个道德价值体系的形成，又是对人们的道德认知、道德情感、道德意志、道德人格、道德观念、道德动机的整合，从而将人们的各种关于道德的零散的信念和价值观念统一起来，形成一个高低有序的道德价值观系统，成为规范一个人全部人生活动和行为选择的基本框架。
整合一旦完成，作为一个价值系统整体，道德信仰又对道德生活的各个方面发挥重要的作用。
在中国传统文化中，“诚”非常接近道德信仰。
孟子说：“诚者天之道也，思诚者人之道也。
至诚而不动者，未之有也，不诚未有能动者也。
”孟子所说的“诚”是真实无欺的意思。
天是真实无欺的，人也应该追求真实无欺。
达到至诚就能使人感动，达不到至诚就不能使人感动。
荀子也重视“诚”，认为“诚”是所有德行的基础。
他说：“君子养心莫善于诚，致诚则无它事矣。
”把“诚”当作最重要的道德观念的是《中庸》。
《中庸》说：“诚者，天之道也;诚之者，人之道也。
诚者，不勉而中，不思而得，从容中道，圣人也。
诚之者，择善而固执之者也。
”可见，至诚是一种尽性知天并达到天人合一的崇高境界。
这是中国特色的道德信
仰，它不依靠宗教，不通过神学，而从人性与天性、人道与天道的合一，从相信人性善并通过尽性知天的途径，达到天人合一的理想的人生境界。
令人遗憾的是，在现实生活中，一些人经不起利益的诱惑，做出了很多伤天害理之事。
出现这类现象的原因尽管是多方面的，但缺乏道德信仰是其中最普遍的原因。
当前，在认真贯彻《公民道德建设实施纲要》中，在加强诚信教育中，我们应高度重视道德信仰的重要性。

”说着，苏格拉底示范了一遍，并要求学生们从今天开始，每天做300下，学生们都笑了，这么简单的事，有什么做不到的!可过了一个月，苏格拉底再问学生们，能够坚持下来还有90%。
又过了一个月，坚持下来的学生只剩下八成。

这个小故事所蕴含的深刻含意是显而易见的，的确，我们干什么事，要取得成功，坚持不懈的毅力和持之以恒的精神都是必不可少的。
成功之路，贵在坚持。
谁能坚持到底，谁应能获得成功，众所周知，贝尔发明了电话，可他所做的仅仅是将电话中一个螺母转动了周，而之前的大量工作是由爱迪生等科学家完成的。
双方为此走上了法庭，法庭最终将发明权判给贝尔。
原因是爱迪生等科学家虽然做了大量工作，但还是放弃了对电话的研究。
可贝尔没有放弃，正是那周，使电话有了实际用途，爱迪生等科学家并非没有那个能力，只是在发明电话时缺少了一份坚持，才会与成功擦身而过，有许多伟大成就都正在于一份坚持。
九十九度加一度水就开了。
开水与温水的在于这一度之差。
有些事之所以天壤之别，往往也正因为这一度之差。
同学们，当困难拌住你成功脚步的时候;当失败挫伤你进取雄心的时候;当负担压得你喘不过气的时候，不要退缩，不要放弃，一定要坚持下去，因为只有坚持不懈，才能走向成功!

尊敬的老师、亲爱的同学们：
大家好,今天我要给大家介绍一部电视剧,它叫《花样少年少女》，戏中女主角卢瑞希为了见到自己所喜欢跳高偶像
左以泉一个人从美国到台湾女扮男装、就读樱开男校。
故事就这样情形下展开女扮男装的瑞希面对各种各样挑战：一开始得知泉不跳高了後来受到欺负再来哥哥从美国来看(瑞希瞒着哥进男校)……
最后，在瑞希的鼓励和自己的努力之下，泉又找回了跳高的信心，重新回到了跳高台上。
虽然泉知道瑞希是个女生，但由于两个人都不好说出口，怕揭晓这个秘密，于是，他们就把这个秘密一直保守下去，但自己却在心里爱着对方。
虽然这是一部偶像剧，但是我们依然可以从中学到很多很多。
比如泉为了可以再次回到跳高场上，他是加倍的努力，最后也还是成功了，这告诉我们，只要努力，没有什么不可以。
而瑞希为了自己的真爱，而不顾一切，只是为了见到自己喜欢的人而已，可是真是因为她对这份爱的努力，才使泉也对他有了好感。
这可以告诉我们，为了自己的梦想而努力，这样我们才有实现梦想的机会与能力。
总之，我们一定要为了自己的梦而努力!
我国著名作家老舍先生说过：骄傲自满是我们的一座可怕的陷阱，而这个陷阱是我们自己亲手挖掘的。
我们从祖宗那一辈就开始宣传杜绝骄傲了，有孔子曰的：三人行，必有
我师焉。
还有故事书里面的龟兔赛跑等等。
记得我读小学的时候，班级里面选班干部，被选中的那位说的最多是“不行，不行，我干不了”，选来选去就没下文了，最后重担还是落到的班长身上。
论能力，每个人都可以当选，只不多了那么的一点“谦虚”。
可能在我们的心里那是谦虚，实质意义上它就是虚伪。
谦虚可以使你永远把自己置于学习的地位，并有助于发现他人的优点。
但是，谦虚决不是客套与虚伪;不是遇到工作时的退缩与推委;更不是所谓的深藏不露。
如果有机会需要你发挥自己的能力，而你也拥有这样的能力，你必须知难而进，当仁不让，决不能把谦虚作为推卸责任的借口!
