关键词:英语教学;英文歌曲;优势;有效使用《英语课程标准》五级目标中明确指出,学生应能体会英语学习中的乐趣,乐于接触英语歌曲、读物等并能通过音像资料丰富自己的学习。

这就意味着,在初中英语教学中,如果能发挥其优势并有效开展英文歌曲的教学,势必能实现教学效果的进一步提升。

一、英文歌曲在初中英语教学中的优势对于活泼好动、爱唱歌的初中生来说,稍显枯燥、单调的听、说、读、写专项技能训练在一定程度上会挫伤他们学习的积极性,而拥有独特魅力的英文歌曲却较符合他们的身心发展,有着不可替代的优势和作用。

同时,面部表情、肢体语言的搭配还能把静态的英语语言转化成学生能理解的表情与动作,更符合初中生爱玩好动的天性,能进一步帮助他们学习、理解和记忆。

如教授教材《what color is it?》时[选自《go for it》七年级上册starter unit3],我使用了英语flash歌曲“colors”,歌曲中包含了本单元需要掌握的所有与颜色相关的词汇,还配有各种肢体动作。

因此我在上课时不但要求学生唱,还鼓励学生模仿着动,有转圈,起立,坐下,高举双手等,这样就在童趣十足的歌曲中帮助他们巩固词汇,并了解了在课堂活动中经常会中会出现的“turn around, stand up, sit down, stretch up high above your hand”等知识。
