There is no evil or tear in it, the prince and the princess live happily forever. However, when we grow up, we all get away from those. We become ruthless and always think about ourselves and we think the beautiful fairy tales are childish. Then we feel the world is cold and we have no good friends. Is that the growth? Is that the true life?Will’s father, Edward, says, “No”. He builds a multicolored fairy tale world for his son, and he wants to let Will’s life be full of longing and hopes. He also tells to Will, that even though the way ahead is hard and full of unknown risks, he should not stop making progress, he should be brave to face every challenge.In the beautiful town named “The town of Spectre”, so many people who passed by would like to live here forever because here is so beautiful that everyone like here. Like a poet, whose name is Winslow, keeps staying in that town formany years and has written only 3 lines of a poem. This town is just like a greenhouse; even the water here is sweet. However, if Edward stays here, he will never experience the surprises and stimulations in the future. So, Edward decided to leave there, even though he has not a pair of shoes that can protect his feet. He knows that the stones and thorns will hurt his feet, but he is not afraid. The life in this town is really desirable, but his life should be end up there? No, if he stops to live in this town, he will not meet his wife and many surprises. The stones and thorns represent the difficulties. Edward uses this story to teach Will that he should be brave to face every challenge.A mermaid appears twice in Edward’s story. I think she represents the people's dreams and desires. As Jenny said, “Fish looks different to different people”. Edward wants to tell Will that everyone has a lot of dreams, but not all of them can come true. As long as you have a brave heart, and you dare to think, dare to do, dare to dream, even if you will be tired and your body will be injured, but you will always feel satisfied and find happiness at last.Of course, the most important is to keep a kind heart. For example, Winslow, the poor poet, wants to rob the bank.However, because of the economic crisis, there is no money in that bank. So Edward puts his own check into Winslow’s pocket. Through this story, Edward wants to tell Will that he should keep kind to all people.When the beautiful town becomes chaos because of people's greed, Edward never says give up. Although he has little money, but he has a lot of friends, such as the boss of the circus, the giant, conjoined twins, and Winslow ,he is already a millionaire now, they gives him a lot of money and Edward rebuilds the small town. Edward wants to tell Will that everyone will make a mistake and regret, but don’t be afraid, as long as you are willing to pay to save, you will save everything.Because of witch who can let a person see the way he dies, Edward understands the meanings of birth and death. He is not afraid of death any more, so whenever he is in trouble, he never gives up. Edward wants to tell Will that he had better not be afraid of death and has the courage to face death, he just does the things he wants and don’t stopped his feet.At last, Will finally understands his father’s exquisite emotion and deep love. In Will’s eyes, Edward is no longer the person who likes brag and always be hypocritical. WhenEdward will be die, Will builds a beautiful ending of the fairy tale about Edward’ life —— all of people come to the river bank to see him off, his beautiful wife , dressed in a beautiful skirt ,is standing in the river and gives him a kiss. He gives the wedding ring to her and then changes into a big fish. He leaps into the river and goes away.I am moved by this movie. Will is lucky, because his father loves him deeply. His father is the most beautiful story in his life, I believe.。

于是，只好带上自备的童话式氧气筒，用真诚的现象力为生活插上展翅不息的翅膀。
然后，快乐自由的飞翔。
——《大鱼》（《Big fish》）里的爱德华便是这类人。
第一次真正的接触Tim Burton是在一年以前——《爱丽丝梦游仙境》，被他的浪漫奇思所深深的吸引。
于是看了关于他的几部影片，在他的影片中，我们不难发现这样的一个共同点:天马行空般的梦境交叉，平滑而润泽，散发着温热潮湿的怪诞气息，亦或是那贯穿始终的虚无缥缈的水面中。
他是好莱坞头号视觉艺术大师，对于这样一个喜欢幻想、把庸常的现实附着于闪念的浪漫奇思的导演，画面即是他的风格。
例如曾经感动过我们的《剪刀手爱德华》，更是给我我们视觉上与感官上的焕然一新。
在《大鱼》里，Tim Burton运用了动画、远景镜头和摄影特技，唯独没有用流行的电脑特效，至少在视觉上使人看起来更加自然。
在其诸多作品之中，《大鱼》有着自己独特的气质。
不同于其他作品，如《理发师陶德》、《断头谷》、《僵尸新娘》，《大鱼》少了些阴郁晦暗，多了些温馨和柔情，也让我们看到这位鬼才导演对影片的掌控实力。
但在片中，我们依然能看到蒂姆·波顿做最擅长的奇幻故事，甚至也融合了他一贯的诡异的气氛，让这部带着柔情色彩的影片依然个性十足。

大鱼这个片子英文名是Big fish，直接翻译就是“大鱼”，但我更喜欢另一种翻译“大智若愚”，因为影片所表达的正是一种大智若愚的生活哲理，虽然讲述的故事都是夸张离奇，但蕴涵在其中的启示却是非常的富有智慧。
威尔(由比利•克鲁德普饰)记得，从小时候起，父亲爱德华(亚伯特•芬尼饰)就喜欢滔滔不绝的讲述自己早年当阿拉巴马旅行推销员时经历的众多离奇的故事，它们是如此的光怪陆离，就连小威尔也时常怀疑它们的真实性，他觉得自己根本就不了解父亲，也无法接受他的奇说，这让父子间的关系逐渐疏远。

但我错了，随着情节的展开，我逐渐的领悟了抛开那些夸张的修饰，这完全就是一个男人的奋斗史，里面包含着一种人生的态度和男人应该具有的素质。

《Bigfish》观后感第一篇：《Big fish》观后感《Big fish》观后感看完这个影片，给我印象最深的是父亲一个又一个的神话般的故事。
人的一生，如果在这样的神话般的色彩笼罩下生活，该是多么美好的事情呀！其实父亲的那些故事，并不是胡编乱造的，电影里，儿子、媳妇，还有母亲一起去旧仓库里收拾，发现不少旧物，令儿子联想到父亲曾说过的那些故事。
比如，机械手引起儿子想到父亲去做推销员，赚钱为了盖一栋白色的房子，生涯中遇到旧时的朋友要抢劫银行，莫名其妙地成为帮凶；结果银行里的钱早就被抢光了，已经破产了。
……那么多故事，都是那么可爱，那么夸张，令人神往。
然而，长大成人的儿子并没有觉得有多好玩；相反，他倒觉得这些故事那么不具有真实性，虚假得以至于他不能相信父亲所说的任何话；他不能理解父亲为什么要这样做，真真实实不好么？终于有一天，他去拜访那个传说成为女巫的女孩。
女孩说了一个故事，那个父亲拯救了一个小镇的故事，并且购买下了那个女孩的房子，还为那个女孩把房子装修好，像新的一样。
儿子终于理解父亲的做法了。
但是，回到家之后，儿子发现了家里气氛的怪异；果然。
父亲出事了，他中风了。
在医院里，那个曾经为妈妈接生的医生对儿子说了他出生的故事，那么平凡，甚至，那时父亲都不在；但是，在父亲的故事里，那天父亲钓到了一条大鱼……故事的最后，儿子也给父亲讲了一个故事，一个父亲怎样死亡的故事，美好、温馨且感人。
大家都在，父亲生命中的每一个人，都在生命的最后用一刻来为父亲送行。
在儿子的故事里，最后，父亲变回了他原来的样子——一条鱼，很大的大鱼。
重新回到河里，继续原来的生活。
一个生命的结束，便是另个一个生命的开始；周而复始。
给生命抹上神话的色彩，死后化为传说…...这样美的死法，不由让人心驰神往。
还记得，影片中，父亲的葬礼中，没有人伤心难过，大家各自谈笑风生；没有悲痛的死亡，给我的感觉是那么安详；即便是死，也觉得不是那么件重要的事。
一直希望自己死后可以变成一棵树，屹立平原，百年孤独，看人间悲欢离合，沧海桑田。

1.关于影名虽然“大智若鱼”这个翻译还行，但还是略显牵强。
big fish在电影里是起表征作用的那条大鱼，在英语里，big fish是大人物的意思，暗指老爸不平凡的一生；fish story有“被夸大的故事”的意思，暗指了老爸讲的故事不全为假，只是夸大了而已。

3.关于儿子的出生巨人、双胞胎姐妹、诗人等等，虽然部分印证了老爸的幻想（例如巨人虽然很高，但绝没有房子那么高；双胞胎姐妹是存在的，只是并非连体的等等），但却是真实存在的。
唯独儿子出生的故事，是完全是编造的。
医生说，"I choose the fancy one"，这表明了老爸希望自己的儿子能够为自己感到不平凡，这个故事是完全为儿子编造的。
没有几个人希望自己平庸。
4.关于中国电厂那段情节的争议这段的争议很大，触动了国人的神经。

My friend ever introduced a fantastic film called Big Fish which is considered one of my favorite films. This film involves fantasy, adventure and love between father and son. The film Big Fish is directed by Tim Burton, from the novel “Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions” by Daniel Wallace.
This film is about conflict or love between father and son. First, the father, Ed Bloom, about how he comes to the world, how he travels the world and meets different kinds of people, how he finds his love of his life, and how he has his career and has his family. Second, the son, Will, actually he has a bad relationship with his father. He does not believe anything his father tells him. He just regards his father as a teller of tall tales.
To be honest, I believe that this film’s really aim is to show the relationship between father and son, between Ed Bloom and Will. No matter how unbelievable Ed’ adventures are, or how dangerous the trip is, or how funny the people he meets are, and hoe difficult for him to get his love. All he has done is just to let his son, Will, can be pride of his father. He wants to show his brave to Will, no matter when he is in the witch’s garden, and he says to the witch “I want to see how I gone to die”, and then he says “That’s how I go”, or when he in front of the giant’s cave, he says to Carl, the giant, “Come on,
you can eat me. And if you do not eat me, I won’t go back”, or he cross the frightened forest, and he says to himself, “The more difficult something can be, the mor e reward.”, or during the Korean War, he fights with solders.
For Will, he is really unwilling to accept those stories about his father. In his eye’s, his father is nothing but a teller of tall tales. And just because he can not put up with those funny stories, he moves away and has not talked with his father for 3 years. But latterly, he comes back when he finds his father is ill badly. And at that time, he begins to travel the place where his father traveled, such as the town of Spectre, little by little, he begins to trust his father and the relationship between his father and he is rebuilt. With the time pass on, he knows something that his father never told to him. He meets Jenny, the girl appeared in Ed’ stories. Jenny says “He comes here twice, first time he is too early, and the second time he is too late.” Then, she tells Will how much his father likes him, and she says “I was made believe, but you are the reality.” Finally, Will realizes that no matter what the truth is about his father’s adventures, there is one thing can not be changed, that is, his father, Ed Bloom, loves him very much. So, Will finds the love once be lost between his father and his again.
At the end of this film, Will trust his father, and the relationship between him and his father reunited again. So, we can see that when Will begins to imagine the death of his father, the giant, the witch, the conjoined-twin lounge singer, Amos, the poet, Jenny, everyone once appeared in his father’s outlandish stories comes to say goodbye to E d. At last, Will says to his father “You become what you always were a very big fish”. Opening ending always gives the audience a lot of thinking. Anyway, fantastic imagination, interesting adventure and love with understanding between father and son give me a deep expression.。
