●Why people are late sometime?

这道题看似简单，但是如果只是用第一部分问题的模版来回答的话，分数就很难得到提升。因为它其实是七分题。考官在这里已经指出了问题的存在，并想通过这

个问题来与我们展开探讨。所以，大家答题时，一定要看其key在哪里。

答题技巧：A→P(已存在)+ C+ E+ S

1. Cause One: busy transportation

Examples: (1) the rush hours for going to work and going home（上下班高峰期）

(2) traffic accidents

(3) the tide of vehicles in holiday travelling（节假日的出行潮）

Cause→traffi c jam/ congestion→ unable to move even a single step

（寸步难行）

Watertight（水泄不通）Solutions: (1) improve monitor on transportation（交控）

(2) put more weight/ effort on road constructions

(3) reduce the traffic flow magnitude（车流量）

2. Cause Two: our work

Examples: (1) work overtime because of heavy work load

(2) extension of meetings

(3) late of the client in an appointment

Cause→a vicious circle（恶性循环）

Solutions: (1) relieve working pressure（减压）

(2) relieve heavy work load（减量）

(3) raise working efficiency（提效）

3. Cause Three: people’s bad habit

Examples: (1) It has been a kind of inertial thought（惯性思维）of people

(2) It has been a kind of people’s bad habit→People has been natural to

be late and exculpate（开脱）themselves with various kinds of excuses.

(3) It has been a fashion among people→It makes people learn from each

other and forma gad habits（相互效仿）.

Cause: be accustomed to it（习以为常）

Solutions: (1) raise people’s awareness of realization of the bad influence of being late（提高觉悟）

(2) raise people’s awareness of punctuation accordingly

(3) improve people’s overall-makings（综合素质）

●What excuses will people use for their late?

答题技巧：E1→D+ E

1.apology style（道歉型）

2.exculpate style（开脱型）

3.convention style（惯例型）

●Do westerners or easterners pay more attention to the concept of time?

这道题的关键并不在于真正的西方人还是东方人还是东方人谁更重视时间观念，同学们不要轻意的跟着考官的思维走。如果我们硬要从东西方选一方出来的话，都会显得不合理，也很难说得好。应该客观分析，以你为主。
