5. The inaugural meeting of the third China Financial Standardization Technical Committee was held in BeijingOn 8th of May 2012, the inaugural meeting of the third China Financial Standardization Technical Committee (CFSTC) was held in Beijing. Deputy director of the Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China (SAC) Sun Bo gave a speech in the meeting, Li Dongrong, Member of the CPC and Deputy Governor of the PBC and Chairman of the third CFSTC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.Li Dongrong pointed out, under the attention and guidance of NSMC and PBC, in the strong support of Financial regulatory authorities,CFSTC and its Technical Committee and the financial sector, the construction of China’s financial standardization has been made big progress in recent years. At the same time, the financial standard system initially formed, system construction is maturing, standard application’s effectiveness is apparent and the degree of participation in the building of international standard continuously improved.Li Dongrong stressed that strengthen standardization work andimplementation of financial standardization strategy is the requirements of implementation of the national standardization work in the financial sector and it is a basic, strategic and innovative tasks of improving the level of China’s financial industry and ability. The third CFSTC, in accordance with the strategic requirements of the national standardization construction, earnestly implement the relevant policies, earnestly perform their duties and promote the healthy development of the cause of China’s financial standardization.Li Dongrong put forward five specific requirements for the third CFSTC: First of all, cooperating closely together to promote the financial standardization work. Secondly, raising awareness and enhancing initiative of the standardization work. Third point, he strengthen that training and forging financial standard base personnel; Fourth, increasing publicity to promote the application of financial standards and creating a good social atmosphere; Fifth, creating conditions to further enhance the impact of China in the construction of international financial standards.In the speech, Sun Bo, deputy director in the fully affirmed the financial standardization construction has made remarkableachievements , elaborated ideas of the national standardization work over a period of time in the future, said NSMC will continue to support the work of PBC and CFSTC, and put forward earnest hope for the new CFSTC: First, closing to the development needs and doing a solid job in the construction work of the standard system; Secondly, strengthen research and solid basis for the work; Thirdly, increasing the standard Publicizing efforts and improving the effectiveness of the standards implementation; Fourth, focusing on international and striving to achieve international new breakthroughs; Fifth, continuing to strengthen self-construction of the Technical Committee.The committees, from CBRC、CSRC、ABC and PIGC, represented the financial regulators and commercial financial institutions to make a speech, and congratulated the establishment of the new CFSTC. Nearly 100 people attended the conference , who came from PBC、CBRC、CSRC、CIRC、the unit of CFSTC and its technical committee,and related standardization research institutions and so on.6.The CFSTC of the third insurance sub-committee inaugural meeting was held successfullyOn 8th of August 2012, the CFSTC of the third Insurance Sub-committee (here in after referred to as the Paul Standards Commission) inaugural meeting was held successfully in Harbin. Li Kemu, the vice-chairman of CIRC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, the CFSTC’s Secretary Jiang Yunbing addressed the conference and congratulated the establishment of the new term of Paul Standards Commission. Wu Xiaojun, the director of the Paul Standards Commission, announced the “eleventh five-year plan”insurance standardization work’s advanced unit and individual list, and issued the commendation certificates.The meeting reviewed the second insurance standardization work, summarized the experience of the insurance standardization work, and cleared the insurance standardization construction tasks at present and in the future. Nearly 70 people attended the conference, who came from CIRC, Heilongjiang Bureau, People’s Insurance Group Co., LTD of China, China Life Insurance (group) Company, China Reinsurance Group Corporation, China Pacific Insurance Group Co., LTD, China Ping An Insurance (group) Co., LTD and these standard committee member units.。
