【考点点拨】
★ 定语从句
(1) 定语从句在复合句中起定语作用，修饰一个名词或代词，有时也可修饰一个句子。

(2) 含有定语从句的复合句的基本结构是：先行词+关系词+定语从句。

(3) 引导定语从句的关系词分为关系代词和关系副词。

其中，关系代词主要有that, which, who, whom, whose等；关系副词主要有when, where, why等。

(4) 在以下几种情况中，关系代词只能用that。

① 先行词前有最高级、序数词或者only, very, few, much, no等修饰；
② 先行词是something, anything, nothing, everything, all等；
③ 先行词既表示人又表示物。

★ 宾语从句
(1) 在复合句中作宾语成分的句子叫宾语从句。

(2) 宾语从句的连接词：
① 当宾语从句由陈述句变化而来时，连接词用that，that常可省略；
② 当宾语从句由特殊疑问句变化而来时，宾语从句用对应的疑问词引导；
③ 当宾语从句由一般疑问句变化而来时，连接词用whether或if。

(3) 宾语从句的语序：宾语从句要用陈述句语序。

(4) 宾语从句的时态：
① 如果主句是现在范围的时态，从句可根据需要选用相应的时态；
② 如果主句是过去范围的时态，则从句也要使用相对应的过去范围的时态。

③ 如果从句表示的是客观事实、普遍真理等，不管主句使用什么时态，从句都用一般现在时。

★ 状语从句
(1) 在复合句中起状语作用的从句叫状语从句。

(2) 状语从句主要包括以下几类：
时间状语从句：其连接词包括when, while, before, after, until, since, as soon as等。

条件状语从句：其连接词包括if, unless等。

目的状语从句：其连接词包括so that, in order that等。

让步状语从句：其连接词包括though, although, even though等。

原因状语从句：其连接词包括because, since, as等。

结果状语从句：其连接词包括so ... that, such ... that等。

比较状语从句：其连接词包括as … as …等。
