而当记者有机会走近日立电器信息管理系统的时候，这样的结果却显得那么合情合理。
在一个“企业移动”的理念中，一个制造型企业展示了“移动世界”的巨大潜能。
日立电器信息技术部负责人陈军先生为记者讲述了一个现代企业的数据制胜之道。
上海日立公司对IT 方面一直非常重视，已投资9000 多万元来改造和激活传统的制造工业。
1996 年，日立电器的财务系统从手工系统转到ERP系统，XX年又将研发系统转到PRM系统，XX年，两套系统实现了集成，这样做一是因为生产现场的精益管理要求，二是为了把精益管理的理念融汇到流程当中去，从材料的搬运、废品的处理到管理流程等都要求精益化，同时，日立电器由以前的每15 秒生产出一台压缩机提升到现在每9 秒钟就可出一台压缩机，制造节拍加快，操作流程就有了严格的精益要求。
整个管理现场的要求更加严格，有三个方面对现场数据的及时性与准确性提出苛刻的要求。
一是随着产量的增大，客户需求的变动也越来越多，而现场数据与客户需求变动后所产生的差异，对整个现场都将产生影响，于是现场数据的及时采集与处理显得越来越重要，以便使生产计划与现场执行保持良好的协同；二是压缩机生产流程中，由于人、设备、材料等方面的问题，各工序的运作节拍有可能不同步，这对于流水线生产来说，运作节拍的不同会对整个产出造成负面影响，必须对各个工序的数据进行协同管理；三是ERP f理系统中，计划与调度之间的互动时间更短，要在系统中完成更快的客户响应，要做到更短的生产周期调整，数据的实时性管理的需要进一步提高。
陈军先生介绍说，“生产中对于数据的高效采集和管理，给我们信息技术部门提出了很高的要求” 。
