The issue about Taiwan

Today,it’s my honor to have the chance to stand here and share something about Taiwan issue.
As the Foreign Ministry spokesmanalways claims,” There is only one China in the whole world, Taiwan is an inseparable part of China”. Tostart with,I declare that I support our government’s policy. I can’t agree with it any more！But, there is a key question.Who can tell me the reason why Taiwan belong to China? Why does Taiwan belong tothe People ‘s Republic of China instead of the Republic of China?
OK, maybe your answer is “History t extbook tells us”, but as we all know, not everything in textbook means truth, moreover, there are still some different standpoints from different political parties, so I have ever tried to explore the answer to this question.
Here, I want to introduce some other standpoints:
Firstofall，the Kuomintang escapedfrom mainland to Taiwan in 1949, insists on the “One China principle” based on 92-consensus, that is “Both sides of the Taiwan Strait insist on “Onechina principle”, however, the two sides have different opinions about the meaning of “One China”, and each side may state its implication verbally.” After Mr. Ma came into power in 2008, he advocated “No unifi cation, no independent, n o use of force”called the “New three no’s policy”, so that maintain ed the status quo.No matter the Mr. Ma’s policy was
correct or not, objectively, it at least maintained the peaceful relation over the past 8 years.
However,in this year, after the presidential election of Taiwan, the Democratic Progressive Party came into power, that’s a terrible thing for the both sides of the Taiwan Strait, Tsai Ing-wen, one of the designers of “Two-state remark” for Lee Deng-hui,became the so-called President of ROC. In order to win the election, she fabricated a new word called “Taiwan Consensus” to cheat or to dupe the voters. So she became the so-called president of ROC, but she doesn’t want to acknowledge the “92-consensus”. As a so-called president, but she doesn’t have the national identity, my god, what a pretty irony!
From my point of view, we should use the International law to explain this issue! After 1949, it has been caused two governments between the Taiwan Straits, called the PRC and ROC. Even so, both Chairman Mao and Mr. Chiang Kai-shek had a tacit understanding called “One China Principle” in their heart. In 1971, the PRC government restore the legal seat in the United Nations, after that, the government of PRC has truly becomethe sole legal government which was recognized by most countries in the world, in addition, the so-called government of ROC lost their legality. Andthenmoreandmorecountries established the diplomatic relations with the government of PRC, and at the same time, they cut off their official relations with the so-called government of ROC. After 1992,up to now, based on
92-consensus, “One China principle”has become the common view in the international community!
So, in a word,there is no doubt about this issue. “There is only one China in the whole world, Taiwan is an inseparable part of China, it belongs to the People’s Republic of China”! And last but not least, I hope the great cause of reunification in our country can be achieved as soon as possible!。
