本节课分析的文本结构清晰，不需要费大的时间去处理，但生词量大，细节的加工与处理需要下一定的功夫。
利用《感动中国》的片段提高他们的兴趣，最后通过给主人公颁奖激发他们表达的欲望。
但是普通班的学生英语水平还是参差不齐的，用英语进行表达有一定难度。
为此，课堂上鼓励学生通过自主学习、合作学习的方式有效的参与。
本节课中我通过设置相应的语境营造宽松、和谐、融洽的学习氛围，鼓励学生最大限度的融入课堂，争当课堂的主人。
但是因为学习程度的不同，参与度也不尽相同，这方面是后续要研究的课题。

通过观看《感动中国》视频，提出本节要给Timoteo颁奖，激起学生强烈的好奇心；接着让学生分别通过略读和查读回答设置的相关的大意和细节问题，既调动学习的积极性，又加强对思维方向的自觉控制，提高学生对材料进行理解、分析、加工以及获取信息进而解决问题的实际能力。
词汇，语言点和句型的学习难度较小，所以在该环节中我放手让学生自己处理知识点，期间，学生逐渐悟出：小人物，大贡献，微尘精神.最后我设置了让学生模拟感动中国，给Timoteo发奖，设计颁奖词及获奖感言这一环节，虽然在口语表达上存在一定难度，但是学生感兴趣，能够积极、主动的利用所学与同伴进行有效地交流，达到了用中学，学中用的效果，也突出了语言的交际功能！我也趁势进行了树立正确的职业观和服务于社会的德育渗透。
