以学为本的教学设计——教学演示文稿趣的形式来调动学生思考的积极性。
二、本教学环节的不足之处:1.本节英语课上我的设计基本上还限于教材的信息,而开放型的、能激发学生想象力与创造力和发散学生思维的课堂比例还不够大。
2.由于本节课是包括了Warming up 和 reading两个环节,教学设计任务较多,导致学生阅读、思考的时间不够。
3. 在讨论环节,还是因为没能适当提供一些短语和句型,导致学生有话说不出。
三、针对以上不足之处,我觉得今后在教学中应该注意一下几点:首先,我们备课不仅仅要备教材,还要备学生。
要根据学生英语基础的实际情况,设计一些开放性的资料来提高课堂教学质量。
当然这些我们自己设计的教学素材不能脱离教材本身。
其次,英语课堂中,我们应该根据本班学生的英语基础,设计一些难度适中的活动,这样才能激发他们参与活动的热情。
如果在课堂中发现学生在进行某个活动中有困难,我们老师应该及时给予帮助,以帮助学生顺利完成任务。
另外,在设计课堂活动和练习题时,应注重素质教育和应试教育的结合,以期能提高学生听说读写的能力,同时也能让他们在考试中得心应手。
四、从本堂课这三点收获中,我认识到现在的英语教学要以学生为主体,教师为引导。
多鼓励学生开口说英语,并能及时地表扬他们。
教师要有课堂效益意识。
教学效益首先体现在课堂教学信息量、教学活动的广度和密度以及媒体的使用上。
有效的媒体手段有助于课堂容量、密度和速度的提高。
尤其是在英语课堂上适当地使用多媒体手段,不但可以活跃课堂,更能提高学生的参与面,短、频、快的大容量课堂节奏能有效地吸引并集中学生的学习注意,从而最终提高学习的听课效益;其次,课堂效益意识还体现在教学的设计中要充分为学而教,以学生如何有效获取知识,提高能力的标准来设计教学。
课堂设计要有助于学生在课堂上积极参与,有助于他们有效内化知识与信息,复习过程中要重视学习方法的指导,在教学中恰当地渗透高考的信息,拓宽教学内容。

Words and expressions
•ban vt.禁止;取缔n.禁令;谴责
•Swimming is banned in this lake.这个湖里不准游泳。
•He was banned from driving for three months.
•他被禁止驾驶三个月。
•提示:作名词时,ban后面经常跟on sth.的搭配,表示“对……的禁止”。
•辨析:forbid, ban
•(1)forbid是常用词,指“命令某人不做某事”。
如:
•The doctor forbids him to smoke.医生禁止他吸烟。
•(2)ban语气较重,指权威机关“正式禁止”,含“严厉谴责”之意,只能用事物作其宾语。
如:
•Ban atomic and nuclear weapons!禁止原子武器和核武器!
due to
•①由于,起因于;应付给……的,其中due为形容词,to为介词。
•The accident was due to careless driving.
•车祸起因于驾驶疏忽。
•②表“起因于”的词组还有:
•owing to归功于,由于
•because of因为thanks to多亏了
•on account of由于arise from引起
•lie in归因于;在于
Due to 一般不放在句首时=because of /owing to
be owing to (也可做表语)=be due to 起因于
addicted adj.入了迷的;上了瘾的
•addict vt.使沉溺于;使入迷;使醉心n.有瘾的人
•addictive adj.(药物等)(使人)上瘾的;养成习惯的;习惯性的
•addict oneself to使自己沉溺于、醉心于……
•be/become addicted to沉溺于,醉心于。
•辨析:addicted与addictive
•addicted意思是“入了迷的;上了瘾的”,是形容词。
只做表语,be addicted to •He is addicted to alcohol.他嗜好喝酒。
•addictive “使人上瘾的”,形容词。
•可作定语或表语,
•Morphine is highly addictive.吗啡很容易使人上瘾。
•accustomed adj.惯常的;习惯了的
•accustom vt.使习惯于
•accustom sb./oneself to(doing)sth.使某人/自己习惯于(做)某事
•get/become/be accustomed to(doing)sth.习惯于(做)某事
•be used to(doing)sth.习惯于(做)某事

•过去式、过去分词为两种:quit/quitted,quit/quitted;
•现在分词为quitting
•quit(doing)sth.停止(做)某事
•quit office 离职
•quit school 退学
•be quit of sb./sth.摆脱某人/某物
•提示:quit作为动词其后不跟不定式。
•辨析:abandon,desert与quit
•这三个词都含有一定的“放弃”之意。
•(1)abandon指完全、永远地放弃,尤指对之负有责任或义务者,放弃一个项目或计划。
•(2)desert强调故意违背自己的义务、责任或誓言等(擅离职守)。
•(3)quit指突然或出其不意地放弃,停止。
如:quit work停止工作。
•提示:quit的过去式和过去分词为:quit,quit或quitted,quitted,后面跟动词时必须用动词的ing形式。
ashamed adj.感到惭愧的;羞耻的
•be ashamed of(doing)sth.因(做了)某事而感到羞愧
•be ashamed of sb./oneself 对某人/自己感到羞愧
•be ashamed to do sth.因难为情而不愿……
•feel ashamed for sb.替某人感到羞愧
•be ashamed that...感到羞愧的是
•辨析:ashamed,shameful与shame
•①ashamed指某人因某事而感到羞愧。
•②shameful指事情本身可耻、不道德。
•③shame n.& vt.羞愧,羞耻,可惜;使人感到羞耻
•He is ashamed of his shameful conduct.
•他为自己可耻的行为感到羞愧
in spite of 尽管,虽然,不管,不顾
•in spite of+n.=despite(prep.)+n.=regardless of+n.
•in spite of the fact that...(同位语从句)=although/though+从句
•out of spite 出于恶意
•提示:in spite of为介词词组,与介词despite及regardless of一样,其后可跟名词、动名词及其他短语。
意义基本相同,但regardless of只有“不管,不顾”之意。
though,although还有“虽然,尽管”之意,但它们是连词,后面应接句子。
take risks 冒险(=take a risk)
•at risk=in danger在危险中
•at the risk of...=at risk to冒……的危险;不顾……之风险
•at one's own risk.自担风险
•run/take the risk of...冒……的危险
•risk doing sth.冒险做某事
•risk sth.以……作赌注
•risk it.冒风险试试
•提示:risk作为动词其后不能接不定式
get into陷于, 染上什么习惯
get into the habit of 养成什么习惯。
相当于fall into the habit of或者form the habit of
那个女孩养成了阅读时玩弄头发的习惯。
e.g. The girl has got into the habit of p laying with her hair while reading. get into trouble 惹上麻烦
get into debt 负债累累
get into a temper 大发脾气
get into deep water 陷于困境
get into one’s head 有某种看法
get into the way of 习惯于、学会。
