如何看待气候变化英语作文

如何看待气候变化英语作文【中英文实用版】Title: How to View Climate ChangeClimate change is a pressing global issue that demands immediate attention and action. It refers to long-term shifts in temperature, precipitation, wind patterns, and other aspects of the Earth"s climate system. The debate surrounding climate change has been ongoing for several decades, with various stakeholders holding different perspectives on its causes, impacts, and solutions. In this essay, we will explore the issue of climate change from a comprehensive viewpoint, taking into account scientific evidence, economic implications, and ethical considerations.Firstly, it is crucial to recognize that climate change is a reality, and its primary cause is human activity.Scientific consensus overwhelmingly agrees that greenhouse gas emissions, resulting from burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and other industrial processes, are the primary drivers of global warming. The consequences of climate change are far-reaching, affecting ecosystems, weather patterns, sea levels, and human health. It is essential to acknowledge this reality to address the issue effectively.Secondly, the economic implications of climate change are significant. The agricultural sector, for instance, is vulnerable to changing temperatures and precipitation patterns, which can lead to reduced crop yields and food security concerns.Additionally, extreme weather events, such as hurricanes and droughts, can result in substantial economic losses.Transitioning to a low-carbon economy requires significant investment in renewable energy, infrastructure, and innovation. However, the long-term benefits of mitigating climate change outweigh the costs, as it can promote sustainable economic growth and reduce dependency on fossil fuels.Thirdly, climate change raises ethical and moral considerations.Developed countries, which have been the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions, have a responsibility to mitigate their impact on the global climate. At the same time, developing nations have a right to develop and improve their standard of living without compromising the planet"s future. The principle of "common but differentiated responsibilities" should guide international efforts to address climate change, ensuring that wealthy nations contribute more significantly to the solution. In conclusion, climate change is a complex issue that necessitates a multifaceted approach. It is crucial to acknowledge the scientific consensus on climate change, understand its economic implications, and consider the ethical dimensions of the problem.By addressing climate change collectively, through international cooperation and individual actions, we can work towards a sustainable and prosperous future for all.。

Climate change 谁应该负责气候变化问题? 英语作文

Scientists and the news media are presenting ever more evidence of climate change. Governments cannot be expected to solve this problem. It is the responsibility of individuals to change their lifestyle to prevent further damage. What are your views? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. You should write at least 250 words.Model Answer 1:Nowadays, climate change and global warming issues have become very popular and widely discussed issues. Many people discuss the evidence of climate change and proposesolutions on how to solve a lot of problems from the climate change effect. Some people argue that government cannot be expected to tackle the problem because the cause of the problem is human mistakes. I agree with that, however, I believe that both government and individuals should take roles and solve the problem together. The roles of government are needed to solve the problem since they have the power to control societies. Firstly, the government should make and enforce regulations about vehicle use strictly. They have to reduce private motorvehicles by increasing the number of public transportation. Secondly, the rapid growth of forest destruction must be concerned by the government. They have to give severe punishment for illegal logging perpetrators to prevent further damage to the environment. Because of human activities as the primary cause of the climate change, people have to be responsible by taking positive actions. They should change their lifestyle and behaviour to reduce the impact of the problem. Doing simple things like throwing rubbish in the recycle bin, using electricity wisely, buying environment-friendly products, or planting trees will be really helpful. In conclusion, I believe that the climate change is the problem for all of people in this world –with no exception. The government and individuals should take roles and solve the problem together to minimize the impact of climate change.Model Answer 2:Recently scientists worried about climate change have urged governments to introduce measures to reduce the greenhouse gasemissions that are seen as its main cause. Simultaneously, politicians and environmentalists have urged individuals to make changes to their lifestyle. I shall argue that governments and individuals should take join responsibility for this problem.Firstly, industry accounts for a large proportion of the greenhouse gas emissions, and this can only be controlled by government action. Measures could be taken to discourage pollution, such as limiting or taxing the use of fossil fuels. Alternatively, subsidies could be offered to industries to clean up their production processes. If these ideas were adopted, I believe that businesses would regard pollution as a financial issue.Secondly, discussions among governments can ensure that solutions are successful. The Kyoto agreement, for example, tried to reach a global agreement on how to address the problem. Without such co-operating, it seems to me that efforts to reduce fuel consumption are unlikely to be effective. However, national and international policies will only succeed if individuals also change their lifestyle. For example, people could think more carefully about how they use energyin their homes. By using less electricity, installing energy-efficient light bulbs and electrical appliances, or investing in solar panels, individuals can make a real difference. In addition, I think individual attitudes to transport need to change. Instead of making short trips by car, people could choose to walk, cycle, or take a bus. Since cars are a major source of the problem, changing our behaviour in this area would have a major impact. In conclusion, I would maintain that only a combination of the international agreement, national policies, and changes in individualbehaviour will succeed in preventing further damage to the environment.。

阅读短文并回答问题Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 25th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 25) in Madrid, Spain, on December 2, UN Secretary General António Guterres issued an urgent warning about the deepening climate crisis. He said that our planet was nearing “the point of no return” and that all countries should take even more active measures to limit greenhouse gas emissions(排放).It has been three years since the landmark Paris Agreement went into effect in November 2016, but making the climate deal actually operational has proven to be a tough problem. With varying preferences and conditions, it is difficult to provide an accurate assessment and evaluation of the effectiveness of climate policies. Thus, it is not surprising that it remains a major concern as to how to provide the financial and technical assistance needed to help poorer nations to deal with the impacts of climate change and pursue low-carbon development.Although climate change is an issue needing a global solution, challenges like the free-rider problem may discourage international cooperation. The effects of climate change vary in different parts of the world. But the benefits of climate policies are diffused(散布的), leading to some countries not sharing the costs, only enjoying the fruits of others’ efforts. Moreover, in recent years, the world economy has been affected by several issues such as sluggish(缓慢的)trade and investment flows, as well as the monetary loosening by central banks around the world. As a result, the desire for international cooperation on climate change action has been bad reduced. However, the international community is pushing forward with negotiations in a cooperative and practical way to make positive progress in putting the Paris Agreement into operation and open a new chapter in global climate governance.1. What does Guterres appeal to countries to do about the climate crisis?A. Evaluate climate policies.B. Revise the Paris Agreement.C. Strengthen global communication.D. Control greenhouse gas emissions.2. What makes giving support to countries a major concern?A. The imbalanced influence of climate crisis.B. The different situations of developing countries.C. 作文范文之climatechange作文

climatechange作文【篇一:雅思作文环境类作文】2014年7月26日雅思写作解析与范文(环境话题)题目:some people think that environmental problems are too big for individuals to solve. others, however, believe that these problems cannot be solved if individuals do not take actions. discuss both views and give your own opinion.
there is no doubt human society is faced with serious environmental problems and immediate measures should be taken to solve these problems. however, what role ordinary people should play in environmental protection is a topic of debate.some people think that the power of the individual is too small and the solution to environmental problems lies with the government and large enterprises. if the government can use legal and administrative power tocurb environmental pollution, the effect would be significant. for example, it is common practice for some factories to discharge waste water into the river. if the government could enact strict laws to punish these factories, this kind ofirresponsible behavior would be reduced. also, the government and enterprises can invest in developing new technology to reduce the impact on the environment, which cannot be done by individuals.is air pollution in cities, which can be effectively tackled by encouraging people to use public transport. if individuals can give up driving private cars, the air quality would be obviously improved.in my opinion, protecting the environment is an urgent and long-term task that takes the effort of every member of the society. the government plays a leading by making policies, enforcing laws and organizing campaigns. individuals can also make their contribution by doing smallthings in their daily lives.2014年6月28日雅思写作范文(环境话题)题目:with the increasing demand for energy sources of oil and gas, people should look for sources of oil and gas in remote and untouched natural places. do the advantages outweigh disadvantages of damaging such areas?2014-06-28偏远地区勘探化石燃料的利弊(环境话题)based on the quantities of proven oil and gas reserves, we can predict that the supply of oil and gas is unlikely to meet people’s demand for energy sources in the future. some countries have started to explore more fuel sources in remote areas, but this is not the fundamental solution to the problem of energy shortage.it is true that looking for more oil or gas is in the interest of the mankind. as people rely heavily on fossil fuels, the newly-found energy sources can be used to support the fast economic development and high living standard. however, it should be noted that the total reserves of fossil fuels are limited and they will be exhausted sooner or later. only when we shift to using renewable fuels can we extricate ourselves from energy crisis.another problemhabitats of animals and plants may be destroyed. oil drilling may cause some environmental disasters. for example, oil spills occurred many time in the past few years and led to the death of millions of sea creatures. the last but not least, if more fossil fuels are exploited, it mayaccelerate the process of global warming. burning fossil fuelsis believed to be the main cause for climate change and extreme weather. therefore, to prevent environmental disaster and protect our globe, people should develop clean fuel rather than search for more oil and gas.to conclude, looking for more oil and gas is not a good strategy for resolving energy crisis. a better way is to encourage the international community to step up its effort to develop and adopt new energy.写成弊大于利,这样就可以大量使用我们讲的一些环境类的素材和词汇表达。

Climate Change and its Solution
Climate problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. In recent years, we human frequently pay the bill for the man-made climate change. Climate problem, as a world wide problem, gradually poses a threat to the sweat life of human beings.
What contributes to the climate changes?
Greenhouse effect has been directly leading to the global warming. As is known to all, the greenhouse gas, as a protector, plays a vital role in adjusting temperature of the earth. But excessive quantity of greenhouse gas will block the heat exchange between the earth and astrospace, which gradually results in the warming of the earth. Among these greenhouse gas, nitrogen dioxide (CO2) is the chief one to cause greenhouse effect. In order to pursue economic development, countries around the world have discharged a great quantity of CO2 to the atmosphere and ultimately developed into climate problem.
When it comes to the climate problem we confront with now, some scientists treat it as a natural period which is similar to the history, so they try to persuade us not to worry and panic. But others think the climate change is a long-term other than a temporary issue. According to the statistics, eleven of the last dozen years have ranked the twelve warmest years since 1985. Why do the average temperature continue go up? In the past years, the world population is explosing, while large acreage of
vegetation is over destroyed. More and more human beings come to breathe out CO2, but less and less plant turns it into O2. The burning of fossil fuels and CO2 given off by factories have been increasing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.
Due to the global warming, many disasters come to our earth, which directly endanger the existence of our human beings. The glaciers at Antarctica are melting with surprising speed, which leads to sea level ascension. If this situation continues to develop, a lot of coastal cities will be submerged. What’s even worse is that most these cities play a leading role in the world economic. Because of the glacier melting, potable water dramatically decreasing is another problem threating human beings. The rainfall increased or decreased caused by climate changes endangers crop growth, which will then limit the development of human race. All kinds of difficult and complicated illnesses appear, which bring great pain to the people. Experts say the arrival of disease closely related to the climate changes. In brief, climate change leads the survival environment of human beings to a vicious circle.
How to solve this problem?
As an old Chinese saying goes: Better late than never. Though human beings are paying for man-made climate change, it is important to seek ways to solve the problem. Since is a global problem, global cooperation is the most effective way to solve. The government should strengthen
information exchanges; develop environment management technologies and according to the situation of different countries, formulate rational CO2emissions standards. Every country should set up relevant laws to restrain unnecessary emissions of CO2. Meanwhile, it is necessary to strengthen the consciousness of environmental protection. Actions speak louder than voices. Every one of us should join in to create a better living space. Only through joint effort, can we human win the batter of stopping global warming.。
