Main product is shaved fennel and by-products are anethole,anisole, essence,essential oil, and fennel feed etc. Professor Xiong Jinyuan has two patents[patent number:ZL02138713.3(International patent main classification number: A24D1/8)], which are “Application of fennel in cigarettes instead of tobacco” and “Traditional tobacco blended cigarettes”. Shaved fennel using raw fennel material, with non-nicotine,good taste,low tar, low carbon monoxide, is the best additive for reducing the harm of cigarette, and also the best raw material to produce non-nicotine health cigarette. No matter the taste or smell are better than the traditional cigarettes.This is a revolution of tobacco industry, and also a great contribution to human health.In the investment fair held by the government of Liaoning province in Hongkong, Secretary Li Keqiang is very optimistic about this patent and agricultural industrial project of Professor Xiong Jinyuan, made clear attitude that if the project located in Liaoning, the national approval procedures for health care cigarette will be completed and provide support by the provincial government. The researches achieved At home or abroad provide an important basis for the shaved fennel producing process design. The main process is as follows:Process Introduction:In the project, pure natural plant fennel has been adopt as raw material, it is processed into semi-finished products fennel slurry at first, thendilute, thicken, sent into the storage pool of workshop , and then by pulp rinse, dehydration and forming, wet sheet will be pressed furthermore for dehydration, while about 40% humidity, entering the front oven todrying, and surface finishing, then immerse different glue (according to different product requirements) by a glue dippingmachine, then further drying, after out of the oven, the sheet will be break up into slices needed by slit or fragment machine, and then packaging according to customer requirements.Development Prospects of the ProjectChina is a big country not only in tobacco production, but also in tobacco consumption, there are about 320 million smokers in China of 1.3 billion persons. About everybody of the word knows smoking is harmful to health ,as people’s consciousness of health enhances unceasingly , the conflict between smoking and health is getting more outstanding. The "FrameworkConvention on tobacco control" established by WHO requires States parties adopt effective measures, including Legislative measures and administrative measures, to control the harm caused by tobacco. China isthe seventy-seventh signatory, this is a good opportunity for cigarette substitute industry.
