8B Unit2 Reading第一课时教学设计教材分析:阅读是理解和吸收语言信息的最重要手段。
它是每一个单元的重要组成部分,而且是培养学生的听、说、读、写语言综合运用能力。
本单元Reading部分以香港迪斯泥乐园为材料。
语法重点是正确使用现在完成时。

上午好!
今天我说课的内容是牛津英语8B unit2 Travelling的Reading ‘Welcome to Hong Kong’的第一课时。
今天的说课我将从四方面进行简述:一、说教材。
二、教学策略。
三、说教学步骤。
四、说教学特点
第一、说教材
1、说教材的地位和作用
牛津英语8B这一册教材由两大模块组成。
第一个模块是1-3单元,主题是Travel in time and space; 第二个模块是4-6单元,主题是Rights and responsibilities.本单元是第一个模块的很好的体现。
在这一单元中,学生将会了解到世界各地的旅游胜地。
本课时是Reading的第一课时。
Reading是这个单元的核心,紧贴单元主题,在Welcome to the unit部分就介绍了世界各地名胜的基础上,课文继续围绕“去哪里玩,怎么去,看见什么,有什么感受”的描写旅游经历的思路,向我们介绍了Kitty一家去香港迪士尼乐园度假时的所见、所闻、所感。
文章的叙事结构、遣词造句都给学生提供了很好的范例,为他们在Main task部分描述自己最满意的假日或理想中的假日提供了一定的素材和思路,做好了铺垫。
2、说教学目标
(1)能力目标
●培养学生的阅读能力。
通过Skimming(略读)了解文章大
意(overal meaning)的能力;以及通过Scanning(跳读)获取文章部分细节的能力。
●培养学生通过上下文(context)猜测生词词义的能力。
●了解描写旅游经历的文章结构。
●进一步培养学生用正确的语音语调朗读文章的能力。
(2)知识目标
●掌握fantastic, include, fountain, such as, clap等四会要求的词
汇。
理解theme park, cute, wave, march,等三会要求的词汇,和roller coaster, Main Street USA, Tomorroland, Fantasyland, and Adventureland等二会词汇。
●理解have (has) gone to…和have (has) been in…的含义。
(3)情感目标
●通过Kitty的旅行,体会旅游的乐趣,教育学生热爱生活
●了解香港的旅游文化,更加热爱我们的祖国
3. 说重点、难点
重点:本课教学的重点是培养学生的阅读能力。
难点:
1. 能够了解活动顺序,简单地复述课文。
2. 影响学生阅读的难点是:
1) I heard you’ve gone to Thailand.(这句话中出现了have
gone to…)
2) I’ve been in Hong Kong for two days. (这里出现了延续性
动词的现在完成时态)
3) The performers all wore different costumes and waved to
people while they marched across the park, sing and dancing all the way. (singing and dancing 作伴随状语)
第二、说教学策略
处理这堂课的过程中,我将时刻遵循教师为主导,学生为主体的原则,开展教学活动。
我采用的教法之一为读书指导法。
指导学生跟随老师提出的任务通过阅读文章来寻求答案,调动学生学习的主动性,培养他们认真读书和独立思考的习惯。
我采用的另一教法为谈话法。
语言的主要功能在于交际。
通过问答可以激发学生的思维活动,有利于发展学生的语言表达能力。
在教学过程中,我除了使用录音机和黑板之外,还将利用多媒体来帮助解决重点难点,拓展学生的知识面,丰富教学内容和形式,提高课堂教学效率。
“未来的文盲不再是不识字的人,而是不会学习的人。
”现代教育强调学生要学会学习,所以在学生的学习策略指导上我
要求学生通过看,读,想,说来理解文章的大意与内涵,并发扬合作精神,在与他人互帮互助,取长补短的过程中解决问题并报告结果,共同较为完满地完成学习任务,让自己在听、说、读、写,尤其是读这一方面得到充分的训练。
第三、说教学步骤
本课的教学设计,我主要安排了七个环节:lead-in, skimming, scanning, careful reading, reading aloud, retelling and homework。
Step 1. Lead-in
教师向学生提问:Do you like travelling? Have you ever been to Suzhou Amusement Park? 学生的回答是肯定的,由此引入theme park的概念,接着借助Suzhou Amusement Park里的图片,引入roller coaster和march等词汇。
然后呈现Hong Kong Disneyland的图片,告诉学生这也是一个theme park, 并且提问What do you know about Hong Kong Disneyland? 学生对卡通是非常感兴趣并且十分了解的,他们的学习用品上都印着Disneyland的卡通人物,所以他们肯定会回答一些迪士尼乐园的卡通人物,例如Snow White, Mickey Mouse等,这样教师就可以呈现更多的香港迪士尼乐园的卡通人物的图片,解决了文章中Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cindrella等二会要求的专有名词。
由此导入新课的学习T: Today we will read a passage about Hong Kong Disneyland. 在这个环节中,我力求做到“开课趣已生”。
为什么这么说呢?首先我采用Brainstorm的形式,调动了学生的学习积极性,促使学生在开课时就处于活跃状态。
接着卡通人物图片的呈现,是学生最感兴趣的,既激发了学生的学习积极性,吸引了学生的注意力,又为整篇文章的感情基调打下了基础,与学生在情感上产生了共鸣。
Step 2. Skimming
要求学生略读文章,然后回答问题:What is this letter about?
(Kitty had a wonderful day in Hong Kong Disneyland.)
这一教学步骤的安排,主要是为了培养学生快速阅读了解文章大意的能力。
Step 3. Scaning
新课标要求学生在略读skim之后能带着问题scan for details, 提高快速捕捉所需要的信息的能力。
虽然此时生词还没有解决,但是在实际生活中,阅读中几乎总是存在生词的, 所以在这个环节中告诉学生可以不必在意生词。
我给学生设计了以下几个问题:
(1)Who did Kitty visit Hong Kong Disneyland with?(Her
parents.)
(2) How long did they stay in the park? (For about 12 hours.)
(3) What was the best part of the day? (The parade of Disney
characters.)
这一教学步骤的安排,主要是为了进一步提高学生在阅读中获取一些细节信息的能力。
Step 4. Careful reading
在这个环节中,学生需要完成以下任务::
1. 根据语音规则,试着读出fantastic, clap, magic, pie,wave 等生词,并根据上下文, 猜测这些生词的词义。
不确定的单词可以于同桌讨论。
这有助于提高学生认读单词,运用和记忆单词的能力,而不是死记硬背。
对于一些专有名词,教师利用课件出示图片,给予帮助,帮助学生正确发音。
例如:There are four different parks in Hong Kong Disneyland: Main Street USA, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and Adventureland.
2. 让学生就文章中不懂的地方向教师提问。
试着理解一些短语,如:such as, have a fantastic time, at the。
