Recently, I was told that managing is mostly common sense．Though I agree with this 1 in general，it leads me to a few very 2 conclusions．In the IT field，entry level jobs are technical．As an engineer's career 3 , they become much more

technical，with more responsibilities，and hopefully higher pay． 4 ，some of these engineers are promoted to 5 ，which is very non-technical．As mentioned above, these management jobs are more common sense by mostly 6 and evaluating daily tasks．The surprising reality is that most managers didn't

go into the IT field to do management work. These managers were never properly 7 and maybe not even interested in playing such a role. 8 ，engineers have a tendency to be more unsociable, which perhaps will have a negative influence on the relationship between other
