英语演讲稿family

英语演讲稿family篇一:family英文演讲稿FamilyGood afternoon everyone! I am Lauren. It’s my great honor to be here to give my speech to you. The title of my speech today is "Family".“Family”,what a warm word. Every time I think of it, I’ll feel that my body is full of energy and that no matter what has happened to me, I can still move on optimisticly.I think that most of people have the same feeling as me and we all have great affection for our family. But ladies and gentlemen, do you really understand the meaning of the familyGeorge Santayana once said, “The family is one of nature's masterpieces.”First of all, as we all know, the simple word “family” represents that father and mother I love you. When we are little children, we used to express our loveto our parents frequently by this sentence. However, when we grow up, seldom do we say it to them because we feel awkward to express our love directly to our parents. But we know that we never stop love them and love our family.I think family means more. To different people , the word may have different meanings. To me, firstly, I think it means duty. Not as the same size as the common Chinese family, there are fourmembers in my family; father, mother, my little brother and I.Now, let me introduce my parents to you. My father is a tall man, who is a foreman that supervises others when they are working. My morther is a beautiful lady, who is a shopkeeper that has a small store. For the most part of the year, my father has to work far away from home. And I can only meet him few times except holidays during a year because basically, I am in school and my father is too busy to come back homefrequently. As I have introduced to you, I have a little brother who is only 8 years old, so the burden that my parents bear on their shoulders to bring up our family is much heavier.Being the main breadwinner in ou family, my father has to go to different places to get the work to earn money to support our family. Father once told me that “It’s man’s duty.”I don’t know what it mean because I was young at that moment. But now I can understand it profoundly.“A king realizing his incompetence, can either delegate or abdicate his duties. A father can do neither.”I think the sentence that Marlene Dietrich said is really profound opinion .So, in my opinion, duty is the essential part of a family.Secondly, I think family means protection. When we are in ourchildhood, we used to let our little hand be holdby our parentsand what we need to do was just follow in the footsteps of them happily. We all know that it’s easy for a little child to feel afraid of everything unknown, so we always want to be with their parents. We want them to protect us against anything harmful to us. We know that the place where they stay in is certain to be the safest place.“Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are flexible—the kind of atmosphere that is found in a nurturing family.”Virginia Stair said.Home is the best place in the world. And Family is the warmest word in the world. We ask for much from our family when we are young, but now most of us have been the adult,so it is time for everyone of us who talk about family values to start valuing families.Come on , guys, Let’s told all of our family members that I love you and i love our family,Thank you for taking time to listen to my speech, ladies and gentleman. Thank you.篇二:family love(英语演讲)Good afternoon, everyone. I am very glad to stand here to make a speech for you. Today, my topic is family love.Faced with the word of family, I will always recall a public service advertising. It talks about when we were young, our father were the mainstay of our home and gentleness mother looked after us. Gradually, we grew up. We wanted to free so that we quarreled with our father and mother. When we grew up, we became to know the hardships of life, then we found that father and mother were old. Now, it is time to do a children's responsibility. We should replace our father and mother and use our hands to protect the family. We should do something to let them know that they have a shoulder to depend on. Father and mother we love you! Home, love is a responsibility. It is said that father's love islike mountains while mother's is like water. Father’s love is silent and serious and often can not express at the time .But he is a superman, he will try his best to help us but don’t let us know. When we get ahead, he always hides his happiness in the heart. Mother’s love is as warm as the sunshine and harbor. It’s natural and sincere. It’s purest and doesn’t mix with a spot.Father’s and mother’s love is around us every moment. It might seem like our family will be around forever, but our time together can be cut short when our least expect it. Now they are old, we should take advantage of the time we have with our family. Expressions of love are not always easy. They often need conscious effort. Now what should we do for our parents(1) Say the words, ’’I love you’’.Maybe this phrase was not used much in our home, so it could be tough and strange at first. Don’t take it personally. What’s really important is not to have regrets.(2) Make a phone call. Now we leave home to study. We are divided with our family because of distance, but the telephone become a good way to care about our parents. We can tell them everything is OK and don’t worry about us. It is very important, though it is simple.篇三:少儿英语演讲稿-my familymy familyhello, everyone!my name is steven . i'm 10 years old, today my topic is my family .i have a happy family . there are three members:my father , my mother and me . my parents love mevery much .my mother is chinese teacher . she is very tall and thin . her face looks small and her eres are very beautiful . my mother is very warm and friendly to others , but she is very strict with me .my father is a professional accountant . he works hard every day . he likes playing football . i usually play with him . we enjoy ourselves every time .my dream is to be a police officer when i grow up . everyboy , please cheer me on !thanks ! thanks you very much !我的家人小学英语演讲范文嗨,大家好!我的名字是史蒂文。
英语演讲稿自然是我们的母亲 Nature Is Our M

英语演讲稿自然是我们的母亲 Nature Is Our MotherGood morning/afternoon/evening,Today, I want to talk to you about a topic that is very close to my heart - nature. Nature is not just a collection of trees, mountains, and rivers. It is our mother, our source of life and inspiration.First and foremost, nature provides us with the essential elements for survival - air, water, and food. The air we breathe is purified by the lush green plants and trees that cover our earth. The rivers and lakes quench our thirst and provide a home for countless species of aquatic life. The fertile soil nourishes crops and sustains us with an abundance of food.Nature also offers us a sanctuary, a place for peace and tranquility. In the midst of towering trees, we find solace and a refuge from the chaos of our modern lives. The sound of birds chirping, the rustle of leaves in the wind, and the babbling of brooks bring us back to a simpler time, reminding us of the beauty and serenity that exists all around us.Moreover, nature is a teacher, a source of wisdom and knowledge. When we venture outdoors, we become observers of the intricate web of life that exists in ecosystems. We learn about the delicate balance that nature maintains and the importance of preserving it. Nature teaches us the value of resilience and adaptation, as we witness the survival instincts of animals and the regrowth of forests after a fire or storm. However, in our pursuit of progress and development, we have often taken nature for granted. We have polluted our air and water, destroyed forests, and caused the extinction of countless species. Our actions have disrupted the delicate equilibrium of ecosystems, leading to climate change and other ecological crises. It is time for us to rekindle our relationship with nature and take responsibility for its well-being. We must strive to live in harmony with our surroundings, adopting sustainable practices and reducing our carbon footprint. We can plant trees, clean up our local environment, and support organizations that work towards preserving nature.Remember, nature is not separate from us. We are a part of it, intrinsically connected to every single living thing on this planet. When we harm nature, we harm ourselves. But if we nurture and protect nature, it will continue to provide for us and future generations. In conclusion, let us cherish our mother nature and recognize her importance in our lives. Let us treat her with the respect and care she deserves. Only then can we truly be at peace with ourselves and create a sustainable future for all. Thank you.。

英语类演讲稿3分钟精彩8篇英语演讲稿三分钟篇一自信心的重要性The Importance of confidenceWhatever one does, one should do it with confidence. If one has no confidence, there is little possibility that one would ever achieve anything, especially when one is faced with drawbacks or hardships. This truth seems to be evident. However, in reality we do see a lot of people who complain that they like the ability to do something or that their difficulties are too great to be overcome. For someone, this might be true. But for many others, this only shows that they have lost heart. Why do people often feel frustrated even though they are capable of doing something? There are, among others, two main reasons. First, these people do have a correct estimate of themselves. Second, they overestimate the difficulties. It is possible to build up faith in oneself by having the right attitude towards one;s abilities. We should never underestimate one;s abilities. But believe in the proverb: Where there is a will, there is a way. Confidence is the promise for fulfilling a task successfully.英语演讲三分钟篇二I love English,it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different contries.I can see many places of great intrests.I dream that I can go to London, because it is the birth place of English.I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people,I hope that they can love our country like us.I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday ,it will love me too.I am sure that I will realize my dream one day!Thank you!英语类演讲稿3分钟篇三Chinese New Year has a lot of fun, such as eating reunion dinner, setting off firecrackers, people giving lucky money, watching the Spring Festival gala... In so much fun, the most memorable thing in my mind was the reunion dinner, which was prepared by me and my mother. In our country, the reunion dinner is to eat jiaozi, my mother and I began to pack. I asked my mother, is it hard to wrap dumplings? Mother said, it is not difficult to learn anything. Listen to the mother I increased a lot of confidence, so my mother began to explain to me, listen to the mother#39;s explanation, I know how to make dumplings, but although I know how to package, but I have bad package a half a day. I asked my mother curiously: how can you pack as well as you do? Mother said: like you learn bicycle, it is not difficult to learn, you bag is not normal, because you are the first bag. Listen to the mother of comfort, I still so I try to wrap but I didn#39;t mom bag well, but I have invented many new varieties, have a little rabbit sample, puppy, little monkey, but good.A bowl of delicious dumplings on the end of the table, I quickly eat a mouthful, ah really sweet! The grandfather was surprised to say: this dumpling how strange, have a lot ofappearance oh, is not you this trouble demon bag. Everyone laughed, and my mother and I laughed. This year, the most interesting thing to eat is a reunion dinner, because I did it with my mother.英语的演讲稿3分钟篇四Let me begin my speech with a replay of scenes familiar to most, if not all, of those present here today.Mum, I#39;m sorry, but I need 3,000 yuan for my tuition this year.Mum, it is my friend#39;s birthday tomorrow, I must buy her a present.Mum, this jacket was out of fashion long ago, would you do me a favor?Take. Take. Take. The relationship between a mother and a child always seems to follow such a pattern. I know my mother is always there for me, providing me with everything I need; from food to clothing, from tuition to pocket money. I never thought twice about all she did until one day she said, Will there be a time that you#39;ll say you have taken enough from me?Like a child endlessly asking, we humans, throughout history, have been continually demanding what we desire from nature. We enjoy the comfort and beauty of our furniture, yet we never bother to think about the serious soil erosion caused by deforestation. We take it for granted that we must warm ourselves in winter times, yet we seldom realize the burning away of precious natural resources. We appreciate all the prosperity from the development of modern industry, yet few would give the slightest consideration to the global air and water pollution caused by industrial wastes. Our ruthless exploitation has permanently impaired our mother earth. As we tragically learned from last summer#39;s floods. we cannot continue our carelessness. Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century, we cannot help thinking of our posterity. Nature is not only the mother of the present generation, but also the mother of the generations to come. How severely our descendents will criticize us if we leave them a barren and lifeless mother? How much more they will appreciate us if we give them a world of harmony to inherit? Let us start respecting and caring for nature from now on. Let us start the campaign of creating a mutually beneficial relationship between people and nature right from this moment. With this new start, I firmly believe, that our children, and our children#39;s children will live in a brand new age of green trees, clean air, crystal water, blue sky and an even more promising world!自然是我们的母亲请允许我用一个我们今天在座的大部分人,就算不是全部,都很熟悉的场景来展开我的演讲。

高考英语作文保护自然资源演讲稿English:As we all know, natural resources are essential for the survival of all living organisms on Earth. However, human activities such as deforestation, overfishing, and the burning of fossil fuels have led to the depletion and destruction of these precious resources. It is high time that we take action to protect and preserve our natural resources for future generations. We can start by reducing our consumption of non-renewable resources, promoting sustainable practices in agriculture and forestry, and investing in renewable energy sources. By doing so, we can ensure a better and more sustainable future for ourselves and for the planet as a whole.中文翻译:众所周知,自然资源对地球上所有生物的生存至关重要。

英语演讲稿 自然是我们的母亲

英语演讲稿自然是我们的母亲dy a celebrity, i would have to don a disguise of fat suit, wig, beard and glasses and we would spend the day in the suburbs of southern california, going door-to-door or making the rounds of shopping malls, distributing our watchtower magazine. i loved to set foot in all those regular suburban houses and catch sight of the shag rugs and la-z-boy armchairs with kids playing monopoly and grandmas baby-sitting and all those wonderful, ordinary and starry scenes of everyday life. many, i know, would argue that these things seem like no big deal. but to me they were mesmerizing.i used to think that i was unique in feeling that i was without a childhood. i believed that indeed there were only a handful with whom i could share those feelings. when i recently met with shirley temple black, the great child star of the 1930s and 40s, we said nothing to each other at first, we simply cried together, for she could share a pain with me that only others like my close friends elizabeth taylor and mccauley culkin know.i do not tell you this to gain your sympathy but to impress upon you my first important point : it is not just hollywoodchild stars that have suffered from a non-existent childhood. today, it's a universal calamity, a global catastrophe. childhood has become the great casualty of modern-day living. all around us we are producing scores of kids who have not had the joy, who have not been accorded the right, who have not been allowed the freedom, or knowing what it's like to be a kid.today children are constantly encouraged to grow up faster, as if this period known as childhood is a burdensome stage, to be endured and ushered through, as swiftly as possible. and on that subject, i am certainly one of the world's greatest experts.ours is a generation that has witnessed the abrogation of the parent-child covenant. psychologists are publishing libraries of books detailing the destructive effects of denying one's children the unconditional love that is so necessary to the healthy development of their minds and character. and because of all the neglect, too many of our kids have, essentially, to raise themselves. they are growing more distant from their parents, grandparents and other family members, as all around us the indestructible bond that once glued together the generations, unravels.this violation has bred a new generation, generation o let us call it, that has now picked up the torch from generationx. the o stands for a generation that has everything on the outside – wealth, success, fancy clothing and fancy cars, but an aching emptiness on the inside. that cavity in our chests, that barrenness at our core, that void in our centre is the place where the heart once beat and which love once occupied.and it's not just the kids who are suffering. it's the parents as well. for the more we cultivate little-adults in kids'-bodies, the more removed we ourselves become from our own child-like qualities, and there is so much about being a child that is worth retaining in adult life.love, ladies and gentlemen, is the human family's most precious legacy, its richest bequest, its golden inheritance. and it is a treasure that is handed down from one generation to another. previous ages may not have had the wealth we enjoy. their houses may have lacked electricity, and they squeezed their many kids into small homes without central heating. but those homes had no darkness, nor were they cold. they were lit bright with the glow of love and they were warmed snugly by the very heat of the human heart. parents, undistracted by the lust for luxury and status, accorded their children primacy in their lives.as you all know, our two countries broke from each otherover what thomas jefferson referred to as "certain inalienable rights". and while we americans and british might dispute the justice of his claims, what has never been in dispute is that children have certain inalienable rights, and the gradual erosion of those rights has led to scores of children worldwide being denied the joys and security of childhood.i would therefore like to propose tonight that we install in every home a children's universal bill of rights, the tenets of which are:1. the right to be loved without having to earn it2. the right to be protected, without having to deserve it3. the right to feel valuable, even if you came into the world with nothing4. the right to be listened to without having to be interesting5. the right to be read a bedtime story, without having to compete with the evening news6. the right to an education without having to dodge bullets at schools7. the right to be thought of as adorable – (even if you have a face that only a mother could love).friends, the foundation of all human knowledge, thebeginning of human consciousness, must be that each and every one of us is an object of love. before you know if you have red hair or brown, before you know if you are black or white, before you know of what religion you are a part, you have to know that you are loved.about twelve years ago, when i was just about to start my bad tour, a little boy came with his parents to visit me at home in california. he was dying of cancer and he told me how much he loved my music and me. his parents told me that he wasn't going to live, that any day he could just go, and i said to him: "look, i am going to be coming to your town in kansas to open my tour in three months. i want you to come to the show. i am going to give you this jacket that i wore in one of my videos." his eyes lit up and he said: "you are gonna give it to me?" i said "yeah, but you have to promise that you will wear it to the show." i was trying to make him hold on. i said: "when you come to the show i want to see you in this jacket and in this glove" and i gave him one of my rhinestone gloves – and i never usually give the rhinestone gloves away. and he was just in heaven.but maybe he was too close to heaven, because when i came to his town, he had already died, and they had buried him inthe glove and jacket. he was just 10 years old. god knows, i know, that he tried his best to hold on. but at least when he died, he knew that he was loved, not only by his parents, but even by me, a near stranger, i also loved him. and with all of that love he knew that he didn't come into this world alone, and he certainly didn't leave it alone.if you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can he dealt with. a professor may degrade you, but you will not feel degraded, a boss may crush you, but you will not be crushed, a corporate gladiator might vanquish you, but you will still triumph. how could any of them truly prevail in pulling you down? for you know that you are an object worthy of love. the rest is just packaging.but if you don't have that memory of being loved, you are condemned to search the world for something to fill you up. but no matter how much money you make or how famous you become, you will still fell empty. what you are really searching for is unconditional love, unqualified acceptance. and that was the one thing that was denied to you at birth.friends, let me paint a picture for you. here is a typical day in america – six youths under the age of 20 will commitsuicide, 12 children under the age of 20 will die from firearms – remember this is a day, not a year – 399 kids will be arrested for drug abuse, 1,352 babies will be born to teen mothers. this is happening in one of the richest, most developed countries in the history of the world.yes, in my country there is an epidemic of violence that parallels no other industrialized nation. these are the ways young people in america express their hurt and their anger. but don't think that there is not the same pain and anguish among their counterparts in the united kingdom. studies in this country show that every single hour, three teenagers in the uk inflict harm upon themselves, often by cutting or burning their bodies or taking an overdose. this is how they have chosen to cope with the pain of neglect and emotional agony.in britain, as many as 20% of families will only sit down and have dinner together once a year. once a year! and what about the time-honored tradition of reading your kid a bedtime story? research from the 1980s showed that children who are read to, had far greater literacy and significantly outperformed their peers at school. and yet, less than 33% of british children ages two to eight have a regular bedtime story read to them. you may not think much of that until you take into account that 75% oftheir parents did have that bedtime story when they were that age.clearly, we do not have to ask ourselves where all of this pain, anger and violent behavior comes from. it is self-evident that children are thundering against the neglect, quaking against the indifference and crying out just to be noticed. the various child protection agencies in the us say that millions of children are victims of maltreatment in the form of neglect, in the average year. yes, neglect. in rich homes, privileged homes, wired to the hilt with every electronic gadget. homes where parents come home, but they're not really home, because their heads are still at the office. and their kids? well, their kids just make do with whatever emotional crumbs they get. and you don't get much from endless tv, computer games and videos.these hard, cold numbers which for me, wrench the soul and shake the spirit, should indicate to you why i have devoted so much of my time and resources into making our new heal the kids initiative a colossal success.our goal is simple – to recreate the parent/child bond, renew its promise and light the way forward for all the beautiful children who are destined one day to walk this earth.but since this is my first public lecture, and you have sowarmly welcomed me into your hearts, i feel that i want to tell you more. we each have our own story, and in that sense statistics can become personal.they say that parenting is like dancing. you take one step, your child takes another. i have discovered that getting parents to re-dedicate themselves to their children is only half the story. the other half is preparing the children to re-accept their parents.when i was very young i remember that we had this crazy mutt of a dog named "black girl," a mix of wolf and retriever. not only wasn't she much of a guard dog, she was such a scared and nervous thing that it is a wonder she did not pass out every time a truck rumbled by, or a thunderstorm swept through indiana. my sister janet and i gave that dog so much love, but we never really won back the sense of trust that had been stolen from her by her previous owner. we knew he used to beat her. we didn't know with what. but whatever it was, it was enough to suck the spirit right out of that dog.a lot of kids today are hurt puppies who have weaned themselves off the need for love. they couldn't care less about their parents. left to their own devices, they cherish their independence. they have moved on and have left their parentsbehind.then there are the far worse cases of children who harbor animosity and resentment toward their parents, so that any overture that their parents might undertake would be thrown forcefully back in their face.tonight, i don't want any of us to make this mistake. that's why i'm calling upon all the world's children – beginning with all of us here tonight – to forgive our parents, if we felt neglected. forgive them and teach them how to love again.you probably weren't surprised to hear that i did not have an idyllic childhood. the strain and tension that exists in my relationship with my own father is well documented. my father is a tough man and he pushed my brothers and me hard, from the earliest age, to be the best performers we could be.he had great difficulty showing affection. he never really told me he loved me. and he never really complimented me either. if i did a great show, he would tell me it was a good show. and if i did an ok show, he told me it was a lousy show.he seemed intent, above all else, on making us a commercial success. and at that he was more than adept. my father was a managerial genius and my brothers and i owe our professional success, in no small measure, to the forceful way that he pushedus. he trained me as a showman and under his guidance i couldn't miss a step.but what i really wanted was a dad. i wanted a father who showed me love. and my father never did that. he never said i love you while looking me straight in the eye, he never played a game with me. he never gave me a piggyback ride, he never threw a pillow at me, or a water balloon.but i remember once when i was about four years old, there was a little carnival and he picked me up and put me on a pony. it was a tiny gesture, probably something he forgot five minutes later. but because of that moment i have this special place in my heart for him. because that's how kids are, the little things mean so much to them and for me, that one moment meant everything.i only experienced it that one time, but it made me feel really good, about him and the world.but now i am a father myself, and one day i was thinking about my own children, prince and paris and how i wanted them to think of me when they grow up. to be sure, i would like them to remember how i always wanted them with me wherever i went, how i always tried to put them before everything else. but there are also challenges in their lives. because my kids are stalked by paparazzi, they can't always go to a park or a movie withme.so what if they grow older and resent me, and how my choices impacted their youth? why weren't we given an average childhood like all the other kids, they might ask? and at that moment i pray that my children will give me the benefit of the doubt. that they will say to themselves: "our daddy did the best he could, given the unique circumstances that he faced. he may not have been perfect, but he was a warm and decent man, who tried to give us all the love in the world."i hope that they will always focus on the positive things, on the sacrifices i willingly made for them, and not criticize the things they had to give up, or the errors i've made, and will certainly continue to make, in raising them. for we have all been someone's child, and we know that despite the very best of plans and efforts, mistakes will always occur. that's just being human.and when i think about this, of how i hope that my children will not judge me unkindly, and will forgive my shortcomings, i am forced to think of my own father and despite my earlier denials, i am forced to admit that me must have loved me. he did love me, and i know that.there were little things that showed it. when i was a kidi had a real sweet tooth – we all did. my favorite food was glazed doughnuts and my father knew that. so every few weeks i would come downstairs in the morning and there on the kitchen counter was a bag of glazed doughnuts –no note, no explanation – just the doughnuts. it was like santa claus.sometimes i would think about staying up late at night, so i could see him leave them there, but just like with santa claus, i didn't want to ruin the magic for fear that he would never do it again. my father had to leave them secretly at night, so as no one might catch him with his guard down. he was scared of human emotion, he didn't understand it or know how to deal with it. but he did know doughnuts.and when i allow the floodgates to open up, there are other memories that come rushing back, memories of other tiny gestures, however imperfect, that showed that he did what he could. so tonight, rather than focusing on what my father didn't do, i want to focus on all the things he did do and on his own personal challenges. i want to stop judging him.i have started reflecting on the fact that my father grew up in the south, in a very poor family. he came of age during the depression and his own father, who struggled to feed his children, showed little affection towards his family and raisedmy father and his siblings with an iron fist. who could have imagined what it was like to grow up a poor black man in the south, robbed of dignity, bereft of hope, struggling to become a man in a world that saw my father as subordinate. i was the first black artist to be played on mtv and i remember how big a deal it was even then. and that was in the 80s!my father moved to indiana and had a large family of his own, working long hours in the steel mills, work that kills the lungs and humbles the spirit, all to support his family. is it any wonder that he found it difficult to expose his feelings? is it any mystery that he hardened his heart, that he raised the emotional ramparts? and most of all, is it any wonder why he pushed his sons so hard to succeed as performers, so that they could be saved from what he knew to be a life of indignity and poverty?i have begun to see that even my father's harshness was a kind of love, an imperfect love, to be sure, but love nonetheless. he pushed me because he loved me. because he wanted no man ever to look down at his offspring.and now with time, rather than bitterness, i feel blessing. in the place of anger, i have found absolution. and in the place of revenge i have found reconciliation. and my initial fury hasslowly given way to forgiveness.almost a decade ago, i founded a charity called heal the world. the title was something i felt inside me. little did i know, as shmuley later pointed out, that those two words form the cornerstone of old testament prophecy. do i really believe that we can heal this world, that is riddled with war and genocide, even today? and do i really think that we can heal our children, the same children who can enter their schools with guns and hatred and shoot down their classmates, like they did at columbine? or children who can beat a defenseless toddler to death, like the tragic story of jamie bulger? of course i do, or i wouldn't be here tonight.but it all begins with forgiveness, because to heal the world, we first have to heal ourselves. and to heal the kids, we first have to heal the child within, each and every one of us. as an adult, and as a parent, i realize that i cannot be a whole human being, nor a parent capable of unconditional love, until i put to rest the ghosts of my own childhood.and that's what i'm asking all of us to do tonight. live up to the fifth of the ten commandments. honor your parents by not judging them. give them the benefit of the doubt.that is why i want to forgive my father and to stop judginghim. i want to forgive my father, because i want a father, and this is the only one that i've got. i want the weight of my past lifted from my shoulders and i want to be free to step into a new relationship with my father, for the rest of my life, unhindered by the goblins of the past.in a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. in a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. in a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. and in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe.to all of you tonight who feel let down by your parents, i ask you to let down your disappointment. to all of you tonight who feel cheated by your fathers or mothers, i ask you not to cheat yourself further. and to all of you who wish to push your parents away, i ask you to extend you hand to them instead. i am asking you, i am asking myself, to give our parents the gift of unconditional love, so that they too may learn how to love from us, their children. so that love will finally be restored to a desolate and lonely world.shmuley once mentioned to me an ancient biblical prophecy which says that a new world and a new time would come, when "the hearts of the parents would be restored through the hearts oftheir children." my friends, we are that world, we are those children.mahatma gandhi said: "the weak can never forgive. forgiveness is the attribute of the strong." tonight, be strong. beyond being strong, rise to the greatest challenge of all –to restore that broken covenant. we must all overcome whatever crippling effects our childhoods may have had on our lives and in the words of jesse jackson, forgive each other, redeem each other and move on.this call for forgiveness may not result in oprah moments the world over, with thousands of children making up with their parents, but it will at least be a start, and we'll all be so much happier as a result.and so ladies and gentlemen, i conclude my remarks tonight with faith, joy and excitement.from this day forward, may a new song be heard.let that new song be the sound of children laughing.let that new song be the sound of children playing.let that new song be the sound of children singing.and let that new song be the sound of parents listening.together, let us create a symphony of hearts, marveling at the miracle of our children and basking in the beauty of love.let us heal the world and blight its pain. and may we all make beautiful music together. god bless you, and i love you.。
英文演讲作文母亲

英文演讲作文母亲英文:My mother is the most important person in my life. She has always been there for me, through thick and thin. Sheis my rock, my support system, and my best friend.Growing up, my mother was always there to help me with my homework, to listen to me when I had a problem, and to encourage me to pursue my dreams. She never gave up on me, even when I gave up on myself. She always believed in me and pushed me to be the best that I could be.One of the things that I admire most about my mother is her strength. She has been through so much in her life, but she never let it break her. She always found a way to rise above her challenges and come out stronger on the other side.My mother is also incredibly kind and compassionate. She has a heart of gold and would do anything to help someone in need. I have seen her go out of her way to help strangers, simply because it was the right thing to do.Overall, my mother is an amazing woman and I am so grateful to have her in my life. She has taught me so much about love, strength, and perseverance, and I know that I would not be the person I am today without her.中文:我的母亲是我生命中最重要的人。
大自然是我们的母亲:一个学生英语演讲稿
大自然是我们的母亲:一个学生英语演讲稿Ladies and gentlemen,Today, I want to talk about our Mother Nature. As human beings, we often take her for granted and forget that we rely on her for our survival. She is our provider, our home, andour protector. I believe it is important for us to cherishand respect nature, as it is the key to our future.Firstly, nature provides us with the basic necessities of life. The air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and the materials that we use in our daily lives all comefrom nature. Without these resources, we would not be able to exist. Additionally, nature provides us with medicines toheal our illnesses and promotes our physical and mental wellbeing.Secondly, nature is our home. It is the only place wehave to live in this vast universe. We must take care of our planet so that our future generations can live in a healthy and sustainable environment. We must reduce our carbon footprint, conserve our resources, and protect our wildlifeto ensure the survival of our planet.Lastly, nature is our protector. She provides us with natural barriers that help protect us from natural disasters. Coral reefs, mangroves, and forests absorb the impact of storms and prevent coastal erosion. Wetlands clean our water and prevent flooding. Trees and plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, allowing us to breathe fresh air.Sadly, we have been taking nature for granted and damaging it for our own selfish gains. Pollution, deforestation, and climate change are just a few examples of how we are hurting our planet. We must take action now to protect our Mother Nature. We must all make efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, recycle, and use sustainable products. In conclusion, nature is our Mother, and we must respect and protect her. We must cherish the gifts she provides and take action to ensure her survival for our future generations. We must understand that we are not separate from nature, but instead, are an integral part of it. So, let us all come together and take care of the planet that sustains us all. Thank you.。

I have two sister, the family is not very rich so young my mother to take good care of our three special especially hard. In this mother and the mother of all thank the world. When young unhealthy body always, always go to the hospital, in order to reduce the burden of home so her mother would give up the opportunity to have been home to care for me, every morning she would like to personally give me injections, she was very understanding, total She shot than others feel that pain, but also complained that she had a good long time, the injections in the future and her some pocket money to buy some sugar go, but she had never refused.I remember that once burned in the middle of the night, carrying my mother immediately went to the hospital, half-way because of the darkness to throw, the legs of the bloodshed, and now also has been scar.Mama, thank you has been on our love, and now we have grown up around the outside of you, I hope you can take care of good health, and also for all the mothers, I hope that you can safely life!chinese restaurants have played an important role in american history, as a matter of fact. the cuban missile crisis was resolved in a chinese restaurant called yenching palace in washington, d.c., which unfortunately is closed now, and about to be turned into walgreen's. and the house that john wilkes booth planned the assassination of abraham lincoln is actually also now a chinese restaurant called wok 'n roll, on h street in washington.and if you think about it, a lot of the foods that you think of or we think of or americans think of as chinese food are barely recognizable to chinese, for example: beef with broccoli, egg rolls, general tso's chicken, fortune cookies, chop suey, the take-out boxes.so, the interesting question is, how do you go from fortune cookies being something that is japanese to being something that is chinese? well, the short answer is, we locked up all the japanese during world war ii, including those that made fortune cookies, so that's the time when the chinese moved in, kind of saw a market opportunity and took over.My opinion on copying others' homeworkIt is konwn to us all that some students copy others' homework, their reasons are as below:first of all,the homework is too much and always difficult;the second, they are not intrested in the lessons;and the third, the aim of finishing their homework is to please the teacher. In my opinion, copying others' homework is not good, because it's against the rules of the school. We should be honest and work hard to get high scores. If we have difficulties,we can even ask the teacher or our classmates for their help.If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance(毅力)more often, andnever give up a thing because it was hard or inconvenient. If we want light, wemust conquer darkness. Perseverance can sometimes equal genius in its results.“There are only two creatures,” says a proverb, “who can surmount thepyramids―the eagle and the snail.”If I were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; Iwould let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. I would remember thata good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once. The habit ofattention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. I often heargrown-up people say “I could not fix my attention on the lecture or book, although I wished to do so” , and the reason is, the habit was not formed inyouth. If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to thecultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possiblemeans, and on every possible occasion. It takes a little hard work at first toremember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very littletrouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power. If I were a boy again, I would look on the cheerful side. Life is very muchlike a mirror: if you smile upon it, I smile back upon you; but if you frown andlook doubtful on it, you will get a similar look in return.Inner sunshine warms not only the heart of the owner, but of all that comein contact with it. “who shuts love out ,in turn shall be shut out fromlove.”Finally, instead of trying hard to be happy, as if that were the solepurpose of life, I would, if I were a boy again, I would still try harder tomake others happy. One day a crow stood on a branch near his nest and felt very happy withthemeat in his mouth. At that time, a fox saw the crow with the meat, so heswallowedand eagerly thought of a plan to get the meat. However, whatever the foxsaidtothe crow, the crow just kept silent. Until the fox thought highly of thecrow’sbeautiful voice, the crow felt flattered and opened his mouth to sing. Assoonasthe meat fell down to the ground, the fox took the meat and went into hishole.有一天,一只乌鸦嘴里叼着一片肉,非常高兴的站在树枝上自己的窝旁。
自然是我们的母亲英语演讲稿
自然是我们的母亲英语演讲稿Ladies and gentlemen,Today, I stand before you to speak about nature, the mother that nurtures us all. Nature is not merely a source of beauty and wonder, but also a vital component of our existence. It is our responsibility to cherish and protect this incredible gift.First and foremost, nature is a provider. Through its bountiful resources, it supplies us with the essentials for survival. The air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we consume all come from nature's hands. Without these gifts, we would not be able to sustain ourselves. We owe our very lives to nature's benevolence.Beyond its provision, nature also offers us endless inspiration and awe. From the majestic mountains to the serene oceans, each landscape holds a mystery waiting to be uncovered. The vibrant colors of flowers, the melodies of birdsong, and the gentle breeze on our skin all remind us of the beauty that surrounds us. Nature's creations bring joy to our hearts and stimulate our minds.Furthermore, nature has the power to heal and rejuvenate. Science has shown the therapeutic effects of spending time in nature. It has been proven to reduce stress, boost mental clarity, and enhance overall well-being. Simply immersing ourselves in the natural world can restore our spirits and uplift our souls. Nature is a soothing tonic for the pressures of modern life. However, as much as nature gives to us, it is crucial that we reciprocate its kindness. All too often, we take nature for granted, exploiting its resources without considering the consequences. We cut down forests without regard for the habitats they support, pollute rivers and oceans without thinking of the life they sustain, and emit vast amounts of carbon dioxide without considering the impact on our climate. Our actions not only harm nature but also threaten our own future. It is imperative that we recognize our role as caretakers of this planet. We must implement sustainable practices that minimize harm to nature and maximize its preservation. From reducing our carbon footprint to conserving water, there are numerous steps we can take in our daily lives to protect our mother, nature. We must educate ourselves and others about the importance of living in harmony with nature, so that future generations may also benefit from its abundance. In conclusion, let us not forget that nature is our mother, the giver of life and inspiration. It provides us with sustenance, beauty, and solace. It is our duty to honor and protect nature, for without it, we would not exist. Let us strive to be conscious stewards of this precious gift, embracing a sustainable lifestyle that ensures the well-being of our planet for generations to come.Thank you.。
如何保护自然母亲英文作文
如何保护自然母亲英文作文英文:As a human being, I believe it is our responsibility to protect our natural mother, the Earth. There are several ways we can do this. Firstly, we should reduce our carbon footprint by using renewable energy sources and reducing our energy consumption. This can be done by turning off lights and electronics when not in use, using public transportation or carpooling, and using energy-efficient appliances.Secondly, we should reduce our waste by recycling and composting. This can be done by separating recyclable materials from non-recyclable ones and properly disposing of them. Composting can also help reduce waste and create nutrient-rich soil for plants.Thirdly, we should protect our natural habitats and wildlife. This can be done by supporting conservationefforts and avoiding products that harm the environment or animals. For example, we can avoid using products with palm oil, which contributes to deforestation and the loss of habitat for animals like orangutans.Lastly, we should educate ourselves and others on the importance of protecting our natural mother. By spreading awareness and encouraging others to take action, we can make a positive impact on the environment.中文:作为一个人类,我相信保护我们的自然母亲——地球,是我们的责任。

自然是我们的母亲英语演讲稿let me begin my speech with a replay of scenes familiar to most, if not all, of those present here today.
请允许我用一个我们今天在座的大部分人,就算不是全部,都很熟悉的场景来展开我的演讲。
"mum, i'm sorry, but i need 3,000 yuan for my tuition this year."
“妈妈,不好意思,今年的学费要三千元。
”
"mum, it is my friend's birthday tomorrow, i must buy her a present."
“妈妈,明天是我朋友的生日,我要给她买份礼物。
”
"mum, this jacket was out of fashion long ago, would you do me a favor? "
“妈妈,这件衣服早过时了,帮我买件新的,好吗?”
take. take. take. the relationship between a mother and a child always seems to follow such a pattern. i know my mother is always there for me, providing me with everything i need; from food to clothing, from tuition to pocket money. i never thought twice about all she did until one day she said, "will there be a time that you'll say you have taken enough from me? "
like a child endlessly asking, we humans, throughout history, have been continually demanding what we desire from nature. we enjoy the comfort and beauty of our furniture, yet we never bother to think about the serious soil erosion caused by deforestation. we take it for granted that we must warm ourselves in winter times, yet we seldom realize the burning away of precious natural resources. we appreciate all the prosperity from the development of modern industry, yet few would give the slightest consideration to the global air and water pollution caused by industrial wastes. our ruthless exploitation has permanently impaired our mother earth. as we tragically learned from last summer's floods. we cannot continue our carelessness.
finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century, we cannot help thinking of our posterity. nature is not only the mother of the present generation, but also the mother of the generations to come. how severely our descendents will criticize us if we leave them a barren and lifeless mother? how much more they will appreciate us if we give them a world of harmony to inherit? let us start respecting and caring for nature from now on. let us start the campaign of creating a mutually beneficial relationship between people and nature right from this moment. with this new start, i firmly believe, that our children, and our children's children will live in a brand new age of green trees, clean air, crystal water, blue sky and an even more promising world!
